The food is great and very delicious but the place is extremely small, and service is not great I think they need to hire one more person in the front and the back … So if you don’t mind waiting for good food at good prices then this is the spot

This place is not good. I went here on a lunch date with my bf since I work around the corner. I ordered a panini that was supposed to be grilled chicken, mozzarella, pesto, and tomato sauce. It look 45 minutes for the food to arrive and the place was barely half full. When I got my panini there was no tomato sauce and there were mushrooms. I asked one of the waitresses to bring a side of marinara and she kept pointing to the ketchup bottle on the table… after the third time she pointed to the ketchup I had to get up and ask someone else. It took her another 10 minutes to bring the marinara and by that time I was practically done since I had to run back to work because the food took so long to arrive. Besides all that, the food was meh. The panini was whatever and my bf’s french fries sucked. I’ll never go back.

What happened? There is no service at all. I wonder if the wait staff speaks English. Takes forever and most of time order is wrong. Used to go several times a week. Today I sat for 15 minutes and left when no one came near me.

I have been going to this spot for a few years now and the food is always good. I usually only get breakfast here due to the time of day I am able to stop in. My only complaint is– it’s a small place. Not much seating room. Would be awesome if they could expand but easier said than done lol Otherwise– friendly service and good food! It’s right across the street from the court house so if you ever have jury duty or any other reason to be over there– definitely stop in and grab some breakfast! I’m sure the lunch food is just as good!

Used to love this place. I live around the corner so I would go often with my husband on our days off for breakfast or lunch. One day we noticed the staff was different and our usual friendly staff wasn’t in. We ordered and the waitress just didn’t seem to understand my husband’s order(philly cheese steak with fries) she came back 2x and asked again. About 20mins later(still no food or drinks) another waitress came and asked my husband again what he ordered. Why wait so long to come back and ask? Finally I got my food, a salad. And they said my husband’s order would be ready in a few. I waited and twenty minutes later his food came, only it wasn’t anything close to what he ordered a burger with onion rings. How does one make this mistake? Nevertheless we went back a week later this time with my father who’s a very friendly, patient guy. He got upset when the waitress came 3x asking for his order. Does she not speak English or understand a NY accent? Don’t get it but they shouldn’t have her taking orders if she can’t understand or get the orders right because again he got something completely different than what he ordered. Despite all this I ordered a few weeks later and specified I wanted wings with the hot sauce on the side. I repeated and had her repeat several times to be sure. When my order came it wasn’t on the side, I get we are all humans we make mistakes but when I called to say the order was wrong the lady had the nerve to say«I wrote on the side they must have not read it right» I had the paper where she wrote our order and she didn’t write on the side. Now that’s just bad, you can’t blame your own staff for your personal mistake just apologize and correct it no need for explaination. I told her she didn’t write it then she said I have to send back the wings… um that’s gross, were they going to reuse them? Either way I sent them back but the food wasn’t good anyway so I ended up not eating it. The past waitress was a great one and i was hoping to see them again, so I went back and ordered penne a LA vodka … horrible just horrible!!! And nope my favorite friendly waitress wasn’t there. My husband took one bite of his order and couldn’t even get through it. The last straw was when I was on my way to work and I ordered a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese… pretty simple how can anyone mess that up? I got my bag, paid and left. When I opened the bag I had a poppy seed bagel with jelly and butter… I just don’t get it… never saw the friendly staff I was happy with again and I assume they changed owners or cooks or the entire staff because it just keeps going downhill… It’s sad because it was our favorite place and I keep giving in to it since the location is so convenient for me but I just keep getting disappointed. I had to write a review hopefully they read this and improve, maybe call the old cook or just cook it the way it has in the past, and please just Change that waitress she doesn’t know what she’s doing.

I eat here quite often. The staff is super friendly and very nice. Great quality food and great portions. Very reasonable price as well. If you go for lunch, try the Lamb Gyro! It’s my favorite.

Empanadas, salads(chicken & tuna salad only) are great. Panini –they need to work on. Cheese NEVER melted, the chicken on the panini and salads is beyond tough and thin, just beware. Soups-only in a sever bind.

Decent meal, but seriously… why did my penne a la vodka take half an hour? When I walked in, I told them I had to be back in 20 minutes because I was on break for jury duty and they said OK. After a certain point, I really needed to leave. they told me it would be ready in 5 minutes. Was ready 15 minutes later… Enjoyed my lunch(was very spilly in the take-out bag) but should’ve been 5 stars considering how long they took.

If you like your food tasteless and dripping in oil or grease, or overloaded with garlic(especially breakfasts), then look no further, you have found your spot. This place has gone down hill. No care and attention is applied in providing decent edible food for its customers. Your stomach comes away lined with oil and grease for days after. It has changed hands, but they’ve moved from one bad nightmare to another. Avoid it at your own peril!

Serving Jury Duty and was on a break. I decided to try this place out. It was small but looked very clean. The staff seemed a little overwhelmed. The menu is full of Americanized versions of a mix of Italian, Mediterranean and Spanish dishes along with some American fare. Didn’t really see what made it European since the food seemed sanitized versions of classics. Cuban Sandwich made with Turkey instead of Roasted Pork(THATISNOT A CUBAN!); just call it Turkey and Swiss. The«paninis» weren’t even paninis. Lightly toasting the bread in a panini press does not a panini make. But I was hungry and settled on the Grilled chicken«panini». It was tasty, but the bread was lacking that crunch and there was very little chicken compared to the amount of bread, lettuce and tomato. The honey mustard was light and tasted more of honey than mustard. I ordered fries, and they give shoe string that you know came from a bag. Nothing special, but they did the job. If you are serving jury duty or have to go to court for any reason then I would say that this place is adequate. Prices are reasonable, considering the limited choices on this part of Queens Blvd. Would I go back, maybe in a pinch. The staff is trying to do there best, but with so many good choices of food in Queens they would do better by figuring out how to cook better food.

I stopped there for lunch as I happened to be in the neighborhood. The oldish gentleman who works there was extremely polite and charmingly slow. I order a Cuban sandwich and it didn’t arrive for 15 minutes and when I reminded them that I was still waiting for my sandwich a complimentary and heavenly bowl of pumpkin soup was sent my way while I waited a little longer. Soup and the sandwich were both out of this world. I will definitely return next time I am in the area.

Euro Grill, I am still waiting for my food. It is not often I leave a restaurant before eating, but I was going crazy waiting for breakfast last Tuesday morning. Location is small with 6 or so tables and same number of bar stools. There is a counter to left in the back of the restaurant. I am not sure if there is waiter service, since it took 5 or so minutes to be recognized. Placed an order of eggs over easy with ham, fries, toast, coffee. Simple, fast and easy; right; wrong. Server walks away and ten seconds later asked me again; what did you want. OK; trouble is coming. Server looked like she had a long night of adult beverages. Make a long story short, I spent 30 minutes for coffee and no food. Service slow and cooking; well their still cooking my meal. I am sorry, breakfast is a wham bang out the door you go. You have a short and fast window of time to order, prepare, eat and leave. Please mail me my food; NOT…

I tried this place while on jury duty. There aren’t very many choices for a fresh salad near the courts, so I was hopeful. The food I received was not as I ordered but I tried it anyway. This was a big mistake because it was one of the worst salads I have ever had. The ingredients were gross and the dressing was basically a pool of water with a hint of vinegar flavor. I told the man working there, who appeared to be either the manager or owner, that I was unsatisfied. His response, «everyone else seems to like it!» He seemed offended that I would dare to express an opinion about the food. I guess he isn’t interested in customer satisfaction or repeat business.

I’m not giving this place a rating to be honest because I didn’t get to try it. I was highly upset because I call the place they tell me they are opened till 9:00 pm and at 7 pm I arrive to the place and it’s closed, I will not rate you on food but I will rate you on lack of responsibly ! That’s a one star rating, at least have the decency to say we’re closing early! Never will I travel all the way over there, what a waste of time.

The bottom line: if you’ve got jury duty or work near the courthouse, you want to hit this place up for lunch. Most of the restaurants on the block are delis or pizza places with greasy food(that tastes really good to be sure), but the food here is more wholesome and higher quality without being overly expensive. I went here twice for lunch while serving jury duty. One time I got a chicken pesto panini and the other time I got a grilled chicken panini. Both were really good and satisfying. Pro tip: go for the sweet potato fries instead of the regular fries. The sweet potato fries are thicker and more tasty. The regular fries are thin and McDonald’s-y but not as good as McDonald’s. :( I would say you should get there before the lunch rush around 1pm, but the line actually moves pretty fast so everything should be fine regardless of when you go. Definitely give the place a try. It’s the place to go for lunch if you’re in the area.

Twenty seats in all — sixteen at tables and four at the counter. Clean enough. Mirror on one wall makes the place look less tiny. Order at the counter, grab a seat, and they will bring out your food. Went early for lunch. Coffee and a cheeseburger. Asked for medium, came out well-done. I had the impression that the burger had been pre-cooked and reheated. Fries were pretty good and a generous portion. Coffee was better than average — served in a large mug. Place got busy before I left — so popular. Paid at the counter. Just under $ 10.00 before leaving a tip. I need to try this place again to give it a better review. Three stars for now — could go up or down.

Great neighborhood location for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Affordable options, some healthy, all are dished you’ve had before or at least recognize by name. Eat in, take out, or order delivery. Friendly & mostly attentive service — but be patient; if you’re eating in, the wait staff are also juggling take out & delivery orders. So get your own napkins! :)
