Divers Paradise of Key Biscayne

I looked them up on Unilocal while searching for a privete scuba sertification course. These guys offered me the best pricing for the all inclusive package which was completed within 3 sessions.
Omar was my instructor and he knows his stuff. Very coherent, patient and all about good vibes. I really enjoyed the process and probably will be back for diving trips with them in the future!

Went on a snorkeling tour today and the team led by Omar was amazing. There was 15 divers and 7 snorkels and they went to three sites for all of us to get at least two dives in. They can’t be more courteous and professional and we will definitely be back. Great experience and perfect Father’s Day.

Drove all the way from Delray Beach to get my PADI certificate, Eric was an excellent instructor. Thanks to them I got to dive in Bora Bora which was amazing!

My wife and I just got PADI certified at Divers Paradise and chose them based on three things: their great Unilocal!reviews, word of mouth and their prices!
They are slightly more affordable than all the other places we called, and seeing as how we live in Brickell, and they’re in Key Biscayne, it was a less than 10 minute drive!
Pros: Convenience. They were so close to home! Friendly, our instructor Omar JR was patient and helpful. He walked us through the entire certification process in a relaxed atmosphere over three days, one pool dive and 4 ocean dives. I was pretty freaked out about getting certified since I’ve always had a fear of the ocean, but Omar was patient and made me feel at ease. Knowledge, Omar JR knew what he was talking about. Without being too strict or severe, he trained us in a very relaxed and fun environment.
I’m not a huge fan of Key Biscayne as a scuba location (i prefer the Keys), but if we ever decide to go dive in Key Biscayne again we’ll definitely use Divers Paradise. Its a small family operated business which we enjoyed!

The Hubbs and I just got certified and we came here, close to Miami, to do our first «pro» dive. The crew is nice, the equipment good and the water perfect. We did two tanks starting at 8:00am. Omar Sr and Omar Jr run the operation. The place is not super fancy which we like. They have everything you need at the center and they are very friendly. Cost $ 110+tax per person for all equipment and two dives in 4 hrs. We think we saw a baby shark ;) We will be back!

I did a two tank dive here with my husband and father-​in-​law. My husband was doing his last two open water dives for his certification, and his instructor was very thorough and patient. Our first dive was at a ship wreck and the second was at a reef. Both dives were great for beginners, but my father-​in-​law thought their prices were on the high side ($ 100 including equipment rental, $ 200 for students getting their certifications). The staff was friendly and overall it was a great experience. FYI, they require you to carry your rental equipment (including the tanks) down to the boat yourselves… and if you’re getting your certification you should bring two passport photos with you.

Looking for a place to go snorkeling with the family without breaking the bank and not having to drive for over an hour, a good and trustworthy friend suggested Divers Paradise and when I checked references I saw Theo’s review as well, so the decision was made.
Very easy to get to, great helpful staff, we were taken to a couple reefs just over 30 minutes by boat and they were good — overall the experience was excellent and we had a near perfect day.

Looking for a snorkeling adventure in the Miami area, someone suggested Divers Paradise so instead of driving an hour to Key Largo, we got the time of departure of the boat, made a reservation and headed out.
We had our own gear but they do offer some for rent if you need it. On our boat there were two divers and another two couples for snorkeling. One instructor took the divers and another took us out.
The captain of the boat, Brian was very nice, kept an eye on us from the boat while we swam around.
It was a wonderful day, the captain and crew were very professional and nice. Next to the trailer they are building a nice permanent structure and pool where they will be doing the diving practice on premises.

Omar has taught generations upon generations of divers in Miami. I got certified at the same time as a 10 year old girl who’s father had been certified by Omar 20 years ago. If you are looking to get PADI certified, the guys at Divers Paradise are very knowledgeable and patient. The shop is still in a trailer just after the little bridge on your way to Key Biscayne, but they appear to be building a more permanent structure next door.
