My taste buds are still smiling from this delightfully delicious meal. It began with croquettes in a marinara Cognac sauce to die for. I used to think vodka sauce was special till I tried this. Then they presented the Milanezza… we ordered one with spinach and cheese and the other with arugula, tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, balsamic vinegar glaze, all over beef with hearty portion of prosciutto. It tasted as good as it looked. Definitely going back there. This was a 10.

Giving it a one star due to tapitas! Appetizers The service was bad, the food was bad. Do not order the Parrillada. It is 45 $ wasted. They wanted to over charge us and didn’t deliver a kids plate! Not going back and wouldn’t recommended it to anyone.

We had so much expectations about this place and isn’t really what we expected. Is average, sangria was terrible, the Milanesa was good but the rest is a big ??? I don’t think we will come back… Service was ok! Not that great !!! We didn’t even have dessert !

Very disappointing. Our food was just luke warm and was very bland(we ordered the Chicken Millanezza. We didn’t bother sending it back, but should have. Another couple eating with us ordered the egg plant Milanezza and had to send the food back twice because it was cold and bland.(Can’t believe a kitchen that doesn’t know how to serve a dish hot!) We will not return.

Let me start with the fact that I never even got to eat anything as me and friends checked the menu — the head waiter/manager was extremely rude and condescending to his staff right infront of the public. Can’t speak for the food, but the service, I don’t think I would have liked.

Milanezza is awful! No flavor. It’s a piece thin friend chicken topped with bland cheese or arugula. The fries are the same bland and boring. Don’t waste your time or money.

Delivery leaves much to be desired. This is what salmon with spinach gets you… Salmon with garnish

Milanezza’s milanesa is NOT an authentic Argentine milanesa. The bread crumbs are too thick. They clearly re-use the oil, which results in a darker, more dry milanesa. Everything is way too expensive, even in KB terms. The only reason why I didn’t give the restaurant one star is because they have a good variety of items.

Their food was great. Had the Milanezza and it was good enough that my 4 yr old picky eater ate it. The service was great. The waiter even took the time to help us find some things to do with our son while on the island. Would definitely come back!

Food was ok. Service was horrible. By the time the server came over we knew what we wanted. I had ordered a beer and a water. Beer never came. Waitress never came back. Food was brought by another person. Indicated I was missing my beer. They brought me a beer, just not the beer I ordered. Waitress was still MIA. Finally she came over we asked for some bread. I watched her go over to server station not get is bread and proceed to other tables. Finally the bidder came over and then went and got the bread. One last piece of advice, savor your water. My glass sat empty for the entire meal. Saw our waitress 3 times. Take our order, asking for check, and delivering the check.

I was very disappointed. My friends and I ordered delivery. Not many places on Key Biscayne deliver so we were happy. It took(no joke) around 2 hours to arrive. I called several times(two of those times I went to voicemail because no one picked up the phone) to complain and inquire as to where our food was. The first time it seemed as though they blew us off saying the food left 15 minutes ago(we were only a few blocks away) and that they only had one driver and a lot of deliveries to make. The woman kept saying that they got slammed because it was raining. Um, this is Miami in July, of course it is raining. The second time I spoke to the woman she was a lot more apologetic and gave us a partial refund. The driver finally arrived with our food(but no utensils or napkins). The food was cold and the cheese on my milanesa was completely solidified and my friend’s sandwich and fries were soggy. The food was not tasty. The mashed potatoes were very creamy and lacking salt. Overall I was underwhelmed. I would not eat here again. In fact I would rather take a bus to a McDonalds.

This was an interesting place… it had a 50s vibe with Casablanca plying on a loop in the TVs. The food was great. First, I have to say what a Milanezza is… think pizza but instead of pizza crust breaded meat is used(chicken, beef, or pork). We had the milanezza sampler which is 3 of the milanezzas in a small bite presentation. The concept was intriguing, we were on Key Biscayne look for a place to lunch. This place was not very busy and the staff was so friendly and engaging-they actually invited us in as we were passing by. Everything we ordered was awesome-except for the truffle fries. The truffle flavor was overpowering and off-putting. Pricing was good for Key Biscayne and the staff was very atttentative and engaging. Since we live so far away from Key Biscayne we can’t visit often but if back on the key-it’s on the short list!

We have been visiting Milanezza since they opened! The chicken Florence with three cheese fries is our favorite and the it regular size portion is enough for two! The bacon wrapped dates and mini choripans are also our favorites. Also their dulce de leche panqueque is awesome! The service is great and pricing is reasonable. Overall I recommend them!

Last time I was here will be the last time I ever step foot into Milanezza. Our server, Mateo, was rude, didn’t care and acted like we were bothering him the whole time. Cups were constantly empty, we couldn’t find him half the time. I asked to speak to a manager, I believe his name was Matt or max, and he agreed with him! Saying they were understaffed and Mateo was trying his best. Awful, awful. No attempt to make our meal better or try to keep us as costumers. Milanezza has great food, okay prices but your service staff will be your downfall… Will not be returning.

The best argentinian style«milanesa napolitana» I’ve ever had abroad. Ten different draft beers served in elegant glasses. I recomend panqueque de dulce de leche as dessert. Good service and well located. I´ll be back!

Tgis is one of my favs on the key for something that’s really good but isn’t too expensive. I can usually be in and out of this place for $ 20-$ 25. Redwine’s are pretty good here how I usually don’t drink when I come. Sometimes there’s a pretty happening crowd; now that is for KB of course. The brie bites are fucking killer though!!! Absolutely unbelievable. Perfect mix of rich savory tastes, with a sweet hint from the apricot jam dip, and a little salty but at top where the doughs tied. Now this is pure speculation(of course, as I don’t bat the right direction to have experience I that dept), but I have to imagine this is what an orgasm in the mouth tastes like.

I wasnt pleased my second visit… unfortunately… We had sat a table by wall. Too many flies and mosquito. we were offered some bread which was nice but never got served however we were the only customers at the time. Im a salmon salad girl, i have to order it wherever i go. but today My salmon salad’s dressing was too sweet. And Served with round creamcheese,(why not mozzarella?) strawberry, blue berry and bunch of spinach. Man, topping isnt really matter on salad. At least, salmon and dressing gatta be tasty. Unfortunately my salmon taste like. Too frozen salmon from package. dressing is missing something. If u add creamcheese on a salad you shouldnt add anything. Server and stuff was very friendly.

I spent a lazy Sunday on key Biscayne this past weekend, sun bathing, people watching, etc. We decided to have a late lunch at 100% Natural. I invited a few Key rat friends, and After finding out that 100% Natural lost their liquor license, they insisted that we leave immediately, good call. We meandered over to this place and ordered a few drinks, two sangrias and several beers to start I am giving this place three stars for a few reasons, I would give it zero stars but I did not try the food, in fairness I’m splitting it 50 – 50 giving them the benefit of the doubt. We only drank, which in my mind should be easier for the place to handle and all margin. Unfortunately they were severely understaffed, The one guy was slow and ineffective. To make matters worse he was all thumbs, he spilled the first sangria pitcher when he poured it. No top off or free drink afterwards, A big no-no in my book. I can’t even remember if I got a sorry. I could have lived with all this and certainly accepted it since they guy was in dire straights, but when we asked for the bill we had to ask again, and again, and then FINALLY45 min later(we counted and rounded down) the check appeared. I may return since there are only like 14 restaurants on the key, but they need to speed up service and attention to the customer.

Driving by on the way back to Miami after visiting the Cape Florida lighthouse on Key Biscayne(a must-see when visiting Miami-Dade County, especially if you like lighthouses and their unique charm), my friend and I saw a handful of Italian restaurants along the way. The funny thing is, there were like 2 of them in one strip mall, and in the strip mall next door, there was one more. With all the Italian restaurants in the area, therefore, you might wonder how Milanezza survives, and that would be their unique concept. Most of their menu consists of the famous Italian dish called«milanezza», which is basically«lightly breaded, pounded meat». They have a variety of styles, as well as choices of meat and cooking style(oven baked versus deep fried). My friend and I decided to get a large, which is big enough for 2, and comes with 2 sides. We chose the Margaret with oven-baked beef, and a salad and butternut squash as sides. As to the ambiance of the place, it was somewhat boisterous. I cannot say whether this was due to the World Cup playoffs, or if this is a usual occurrence, but there was barely anywhere to sit and it was quite loud. We lucked out in getting the last table indoors. Since we saw the amount of people there, we figured it must be good if it is so busy(the positive Unilocal reviews also influenced our thoughts, of course). We waited patiently to get our food, which took a bit of a long time. I am now seeing on their online menu that ordering the oven baked version of the meat takes 20 minutes, something the regular menu(and the waiter) failed to mention. Lesson learned. The food finally arrived, and looked great. The beef was a pretty large size, definitely enough for 2 to share and not go hungry. The salad also was a decent size, as was the side of squash. The salad had a decent amount of ingredients, including cherry tomato, and was lightly splashed with dressing. Since my friend did not care for the butternut squash, I let him eat most of the salad. The butternut squash was delicious, in my opinion. Very soft and flavorful, with a buttery taste that was subtle and not too overwhelming, and it was unique as it isn’t everyday that you see butternut squash offered as a side dish at a restaurant. The beta carotene component also made it all the more attractive. The beef was good, with a decent amount of cheese but somewhat dry and lacking in tomato sauce, despite the fact they claimed it had olive oil. Very flavorful and filling otherwise. Unfortunately, service got worse as our meal progressed, and even when the crowds dispersed, the poor service continued. The waiter apologized for the poor service when he brought our bill to the table, but then after he handed us the check and my friend waited for him to take it, he decided to go outside and chit chat with other waiters and the busboy, and also clean tables. So much for that apology! Shouldn’t you be helping your customers, who will tip you accordingly, BEFORE cleaning up empty tables, considering there are now a good 15 empty tables available should anyone come to eat? We got frustrated and walked up to the bartender with the bill and credit card to pay so we could leave. As we walked out of the restaurant, the man never apologized for not picking up our bill nor did he thank us for coming or say bye. As you can see, Milanezza has a lot of potential, but some downfalls. It’s a shame because if service had been up to par, I would have given it 4 stars, but when you wait over a half hour to get a drink refill, it definitely can affect one’s impression of the place. Even with their milanezza niche, if they don’t get their act together, they will drive away customers, especially potential repeat customers who feel they deserve more attention than one refill per hour and should at least get a simple«is everything ok, how is the food?» once or twice during the 1+ hour of consuming their meal.
