GPS goes a little wonky this part of Key Biscayne, just know that Sun Hydro is INSIDE of Bill Baggs, go straight ahead after the toll and you can’t miss it. I had intended on just renting two single bikes for an hour, but I saw they had the bikes for two people or four and my excitement got the best of me. I’ve always wanted to rent one of those at the zoo, but thought the price wasn’t worth it. Sidenote: the single rider normal bikes are only $ 9 per hour, we figured to go all in. So we rented the quad cycle(sits two, or three with a tiny person in the middle) for $ 20 for the hour. Honestly, that’s all you meed at Bill Baggs. The attendant at Sun Hydro’s english was not the best, but with a map and our bike, it’s not hard to figure out. Take your bike and an hour is perfectly enough time to make your way clockwise around the park. We weren’t rushed and took our time, had fun taking pictures and stopping where we felt. When your hour is up, just walk to the light house. It’s not worth seeing on the bike because you’d have to park it and walk anyways. Try and time it for when they give tours so you get to go inside the lighthouse! It was a fun way to spend the evening, we brought food with us, but there is a restaurant also. And mosquito repellent is also recommended!

I had so much fun riding a bike around Key Biscayne the other day. The weather was perfect and the cruiser bikes were easy to ride. I haven’t ridden a bike since I was a little kid. I was afraid of falling and embarrassing myself but these bikes were easy to ride. They were a bit old but were fun to ride around on. For $ 5 an hour, not too bad. You can rent it for 2 – 5 hours for $ 15. If you want the bikes with brakes, it will cost you a little more. I think they were $ 8 an hour.
