Papa John’s Pizza

We drive through the Keys on a regular basis and were running late so we thought we’d just pick up a pizza. Papa John’s is our favorite and we have gotten it from many different towns. This was by far the worst Papa John’s, or any pizza restaurant I have ever been to. We got parmesan cheese to sprinkle on our pizza and it was dark brown and tasted disgusting! My kids ate a little of it before stating how bad it tasted. My first response was to go back in and let the manager know. I thought, surely he would be as concerned as I was, but that was not the case. He was actually not surprised and even had many excuses for why the parmesan cheese was spoiled. He gave a lame excuse of it being because of the humidity. That is completely false as the packets are closed! Then he tried to say they are all fresh! I asked him if he would taste one of the packets and he told me he doesn’t eat parmesan cheese. Maybe he didn’t want to get sick! (note: I have contacted the health department for the safety of others). At first he said he would make me a new small cheese pizza for my inconvenience (I had purchased a large chicken pizza) but I thought about it and if this manager is comfortable serving rotten cheese and making excuses for it then who knows what the rest of the food there is like! This place needs to be investigated by the local health department. For your safety — Don’t Eat Here!

This delivery was slow. The pizza was tasteless and cold. The worst pizza in a long time.

Friday PM & no Alfredo sauce till Monday!!! Horrible lack of «Management». Dumb stick could barely take the order…“minimum wage for minimum intelligence”!

Somehow this is my second Papa John’s review. My girl loves their pizza and while in Key Largo, we were chilling super hard and did not want to go anywhere. You know that feeling that I’m talking about, you are drunk on life and what you want you want it now. Unilocal suggested that the mom ‘n pop pizza shops close by could not be counted on so we did what came natural to us and ordered Papa John’s. This was the BEST Papa John’s pie we have ever had. It was cooked to perfection and the pepperoni was distributed intelligently throughout for maximum deliciousness in every bite. Not only that, but it arrived so promptly that I thought motel management was coming to complain about something. Thanks, John.

Thin crust with spinach, mushroom and beef. Great pizza.

Slowest, crappiest pizza place around with the worst delivery possible.

Still waiting for pizza! They said pizza would take 30 – 40 minutes. It’s been 1 ½ hours, still no pizza.
