Awesome Brie! Waiter, Wayne, made for a memorable anniversary dinner, so attentive, no rush. Extensive menu, tapas and full meals. Surf and turf beautifully presented. My husband had the grouper, light Dijon sauce, not overpowering. Fresh veges and potato puff were perfect compliment. One of our best meals in Key West.

Very good service and quality dishes. Slightly on the pricey side considering the location but otherwise an experience worth having. The servers are very attentive and make sure you have what you need at all times. The quality of the food was good and nicely plated. I would guess that this place is populated mainly by locals, but I think tourists could also enjoy the food.

Made a 6:00 reservation for the Happy Hour till 6:30. Got our bill at 6:50, charged full price for drinks and tapas. Food was great but Happy Hour times are very misleading. Check before you order. Diner beware!

Martin’s was probably the best food I had in my week in Key West, but of course, it was the most expensive. After a week full of 2-for-1 specials at happy hour and mediocre oysters everywhere, we were hankering for a really good meal. We decided on Martin’s after looking at the menu, and we were not disappointed. In making reservation, we were able to get the table that faces outside and I would definitely recommend that — it’s some great people watching right on Duval St. On a sidenote, I didn’t realize it but drinks and the tapas menu for half off for happy hour, and I wish I would’ve known that before hand, because that would be an amazing happy hour spot for some good food. This place has a pretty good wine list, and it was a welcome break from all the 2-for-1’s on the happy hour menus. The food was also very good. I enjoyed my crab cake appetizer, in the chicken schnitzel was delectable. My uncle had the osso bucco, which came very well executed and was delicious. The service was very professional and befit a fine dining restaurant. I was glad to find that there was quality food in Key West. I would definitely recommend Martin’s, especially for the happy hour I unfortunately missed.

Paul was a very good waiter. The food was nicely prepared and presented on the plates. The steaks we’re excellent. The interior was nicely done. The room was rather loud because there is no acoustical tile or drapes on the walls to absorb the sounds. It can get annoying.

Last year on Mother’s Day we were recommended Martin’s for brunch. Our experience was so perfect, both the food and the young man, Wayne, who was our server, that we decided to return again this year. I must say that our experience again was excellent. Our food was absolutely delicious, but what truly made our experience one to be remembered was again our server, Wayne. He was pleasant, personable and made us feel welcomed and valued as customers. We came in as customers and walked out as friends. What a wonderful young man and a true asset to Martin’s. We look forward to our next visit and to be seated with Wayne again.

We were in the mood for some Martini’s after all the walking on Duval. We walked past and decided to try it. We sat in the garden which was secluded and peaceful. Our server was very personable, knowledgable, and patient. We ordered the grouper and snapper florentine. Both were very, very good. The fish was so fresh. The menu is a bit pricey but had several great options. Also the meal progression was a bit slow but I think that is more typical than what we are used to in Chicago. Our martini’s only came with 1 olive which seemed odd for how much they were. However, When asked for more the waiter had no problem with bringing them and they were perfectly made. I hear their Happy Hour is great so we will be back for that!

Today was my husband’s birthday and we are celebrating it at the Keys. There was 3 adults and 2 kids. We picked Martin’s because they had a good menu. The waiter took our order and after a VERY long time the food was brought up, except they forgot one order!!! We call the waiter and the waiters asks my husband did he order something… was he kidding? After we told him what he ordered he went to the kitchen. He came back blaming the confusion on thr kitchen when in fact he FORGOT to put that order in. We called the manager and the only thing the manager said is what can I do to make this better. This restaurant must have been the worst one I have ever been to and that includes fast food joints. We walked out of there without looking back. Terrible customer service, terrible waiter, terrible conflict resolution. We did not even get an apology.

Great location on Duval Street with some open air seating. We arrived at 5:30 and it was half price martini and tapas, which is what we had in mind so it was a win win for us. Our first martini probably sat at the bar too long as it wasn’t cold enough. I had the chocolate one and it is extremely good, made with their own dark chocolate concoction, and probably not able to be replicated. The second one was much colder. I rarely can drink 2 because they hit me like a freight train so I am guessing the alcohol content was very minor. Tasty but not giving me a nice buzz so disappointing that way We ordered the Brie which was phenomenal. Great sauce, with the cheese perfectly melted. The schnitzel was nice and thin and well breaded and fried. Those two would have been enough for us. Next came the lobster which I didn’t like. Cold lobster cut in round pieces served with a sauce. Lastly the pork kabobs which had a very strong flavor I wasn’t keen on. The bread basket had fresh bread flavored with cumin. Not a fan Nice menu and would consider dinner next time.

Dinner was a little pricey for key west but it was a pretty good experience overall. We had the lobster medallions for our appetizer. The lobster was a little bland, coming from new england, my lobster expectations are pretty high. So skip the lobster medallions. We both had filet mignon which was cooked & seasoned to perfection. Served with mashed potatoes and asparagus, both of which were tasty. The atmosphere felt upscale and the drinks were very good. Its located away from the loud raucus side of Duval street, so that was a welcomed reprieve. All said and done, a good experience and worth a second visit.

First I will say they took nine of us with no reservation. The place was pretty empty for a Saturday night at 8:00. Ordered escargot– over cooked no garlic. Ordered lobster bisque– warm and not to flavorful, tuna appetizer was pretty good. Service was slow. Half our table got their food and had to wait for 10 more minutes for other half of table to get theirs. Ordered my scotch with a splash of water but it was ½ a glass of water. Nice atmosphere but be prepared for the brightest orange bathroom you’ll ever see! Overall way overpriced for sub par food.

This is the best happy hour ever! All tapas are 50 percent off as well as their wines by the glass. This means they don’t put on special all their cheap food and drinks like most places. Highly recommend!

This place was nice and quaint. Great location from all the ruckus. I went in about 5pm and was greeted greatly from the host and waiter. Awesome $ 5 martini Happy Hour. The Potato Leak Soup! Awesome flavor and the complementary bread was great for dipping. I ordered the Lamp(Amazing) Lobster special w/stuffed crab cakes(sweet taste and gave the Lobster an actual taste.) I find that any lobster ordered doesn’t taste like anything. This was excellent!!! The Shrimp & Scallop Skewer. Shrimp was HUGE! Snitzhel– pretty good but not meant for 1 person. It’s a lot. Then dessert. A Belgium chocolate thing w/strawberries and complimentary champagne. Overall, it was EXCELLENT! Great for dates, anniversary, happy hour, appetizers and ambiance. The chef even came out and asked about my food… since I ordered so much. Ha! I’ll definitely be coming back!

This place has terrific service though we never experienced it. I’ll get to the food in just a moment. I watched as other tables were given handheld LED lamps to peruse their menus with. I heard a reading of the specials and descriptions of wines. I watched attentive service with the right balance of attentiveness and distance. At my table: — a reading of the beer list(4 beers), Then I get made fun of for my selection. — No description of specials — Told that lamb could not be cooked rare or medium rare(then don’t serve it! IT’S LAMB!) — An honest accident later takes place at our table(not of our doing of course). No big deal except that we were kept seated at the table with soaked linen and where glass had just broken. — Upon getting our food no one approached to ask if all was well. — I had to grab the pepper mill and do my own grinding. No big deal I suppose, I like doing that. — There are inconsistencies and typos all over the menu. The food was good, not extraordinary but certainly good. The lamb, even at medium to medium well was quite tasty. My wife had a fantastic house salad of mixed greens and really tasty dressing(no Danish blue cheese however, as described on the menu). In short, this may very be a great restaurant. It’s location is perfect. It looks great. And the menu is super tempting. I guess we just had the worst they had to offer.

We found this place 2 years ago and were wow’d. Came back with high expectations and we were NOT disappointed. This place is amazing. We started with the escargot and the scallops florentine. Both were cooked to perfection. My husband had the blackened grouper special and I had the lobster Alfredo. Both of us were extremely happy with our choices. My dish had so much lobster in it that I couldn’t finish it all! We finished with the crème brûlée which is our favorite desert after a big meal. Another amazing dish. Not many places I give 5 stars but this was an amazing meal the whole way around. Excellent wine list(which in key west is strangely enough not all that prevalent) and the ambiance was wonderful. I just think simple is so elegant and the flowers were beautiful. We did go early — before sunset, so perhaps the service and attention to detail on the food were more easily done, but 3 out of 3 times this place has blown us away. If you are looking for an outstanding meal in key west then this is the place to go!!!

This resturant is a definite miss. Bad food and high prices. We couldn’t eat our meals and had to leave. Stay away at all costs!!! I have to give it one star to post the review, I want it back.

We came here for brunch and ordered 3 different kinds of eggs benedict and escargot. The service was excellent. The waitress even gave my dog a bowl of water, which is really why there’s a fifth star. The food itself wasn’t bad. I’ve had much better food, but Martin’s was definitely acceptable. I’d come back again, and I recommend the place.

Meh. The place looks really classy but it’s totally out of place — what is it doing on Duval with all the wasted revelers and people looking for burgers and beer? Anyways, the décor and ambience are really nice — I’ll give them that. It’s pretty and classy and looks like a great date place. In the rear, they have a little outdoor seating area that’s ruined by astroturf on the ground. It just feels weird. But that’s nothing, because the food is completely underwhelming. It’s not bad, but the prices you’re paying($ 100 a person easy including decent wine) dictate that the food should be spectacular, and other restaurants like Sevenfish, Latitudes, and Flaming Buoy Filet whatever Co. mop the floor with this place. I had a snapper filet drowned in some sauce — totally average. Someone at the table ordered another filet that was covered in hardened, melted PROCESSEDCHEESE that looked like plastic. CHEESE on fish? American processed cheese? What the hell?! It was really revolting, and only because down the street at any of the other restaurants you can get a juicy slice of grouper delicately coated with coconut and lime. Skip it. go to Latitudes instead. It’s way prettier and the food is spectacular, and it’s cheaper. No comparison.
