One of the best restaurants in key west! Everything here is excellent! Apps, main, and the dessert is to die for! Great spot, great atmosphere — go check this place out!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with the several others who feel that this place is overpriced and overrated. To start, the staff were not horrible, but not spectacular either. We didn’t have any major issues, but the table next to us did. They refused to leave a tip. :/ There is no air conditioning, but there are ceiling fans. Sadly, the corner where we were seated did not have much air circulation and it was very hot. Smoking is also allowed(something I don’t personally enjoy). Both not very conducive to building up an appetite. The food itself was underwhelming. We ordered several plates and none of them were something to brag about. For $ 22 you get two very small pieces of lamb served on a paper plate. I mean, a paper plate?! The flavor was ok, but totally not worth the price. None of the plates were. Overall, I’m very disappointed since this restaurant came highly recommended.

The blond leidy server charge 2 times the same plate because we order 5 different dishes and she think that we don’t check the prices. Fortunately we make the claim and she laugh on my face.

Paper plates? Really? Food was just thrown on the plate and plate was just thrown on the table. Pretty bad service overall. Food was ok and might have been better but I felt like the dishes were unfinished.

After getting married at the Hemingway Home, we chose Nine One Five for our reception dinner, and I could not have been more happy. I am still overwhelmed when I think about the care and attention that this entire restaurant(and Stuart specifically) put into making this night beautiful and special. We communicated over the year leading up to the wedding, and on the actual day, the menu we had chosen, the way the tables were set up, and the attentiveness of the servers all added up to perfect. ANDTHEFOOD!!! This has long been my husband’s and my favorite restaurant in Key West, and we had high hopes for that perfection translating to a wedding meal, and our expectations were more that surpassed. The steak at 915 remains my favorite anywhere, and every other dish that came out was pure perfection. Also, the wines that were recommend were fabulous. My entire family had the best night, and I will always be incredibly grateful to this restaurant, the entire staff, and Stuart for making it so perfect.

Great food. Service was not impressive, but I recommend visiting here at least once per trip to EYK.

While we were in KW, we went on a little date night and this was such a great spot. I would call in advance if you can to make reservations but they were very accommodating. We love great food and we love finding new gems! Add this one to the list! Food was fresh and on point. Their wine selection is amazing as well. Our server was very kind, knew the menu and didn’t rush us out. We sat right along the street, there are plants to along the edge to make it more private. It was a beautiful night to sit outside. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun date night or even a good dinner with the girls.

Heard a lot of good things about this place and I am sure they were warranted. Unfortunately, when it’s 90% humidity and 80 degrees outside a restaurant without air conditioning is just painfully uncomfortable. Having sweat drip down your body as you try to enjoy dinner… Not my idea of good times. Food was tasty but a little over priced for comparable restaurants on Duval St. Probably more enjoyable in winter months.

This wonderful gem was recommended to us by our hotel when we checked in. It was the perfect bite at 10 pm after a 7 hour drive from Tampa. I had the wild salmon tartare! It was delightful. Nice gluten free variety. My fiancé had the steak lollipops with arugula pesto. He loved it.

I would give this a 3.5 star. The waiter and staff were blah. Took us over 15 mins to get waited on after we sat down and another 15 minutes to get out drinks. Staff never introduced themselves, never made recommendations and just asked what we wanted. Besides that, we really enjoyed the dinner. Our Moscow mule and mojito were great and our dinners were fabulous(roaster chicken and the lobster ravioli). The lobster ravioli was a pretty small portion… we order the full and I literally though it was the half portion. The atmosphere was very cute being able to sit outside in front of an old beautiful house with a lot of flowers and trees surrounding it.

Awful food. They changed their menu to a Chinese-Itallian style which they couldn’t master cooking either of those. None of the food taste like they look on Unilocal, you would regret going there.

The venue is lovely but our waiter was really bad and the lobster raviolis were very disappointing. We weren’t asked how everything went — which is generally a given so had to point out that we were disappointed. Response from our waiter was that the lobster from the area is generally bland and that unfortunately the chef likes salt. Hence why we found it too salty. We were shocked! In a nutshell: beautiful venue but bad service and overpriced food.

We tried all of the pastas and they were amazing. Especially the paparedele and the filet ravioli.

This place is great, really good food and our server«Brian» was the best for sure. Pork tacos are amazing!!! If you order ravioli, make sure you order the full, not half since it brings only 4.

Tapas food with great flavor. The prices was a little bit high but the food tasted great. A minus for the small tables. The service was ok. Nothing special. But I would come back just for the food. Fabulous Calamaris

Nine One Five is a tried and true Key West must for diners who are seeking a little class with their human zoo view on Duval Street. The roasted butternut squash(below) with ginger, tomatoes and yoghurt is rich and satisfying. The tortelloni de casa with pancetta and roasted picatta is a masterpiece of flavors and the filet mignon ravioli with mushroom demiglace is exceptional. A half-order is plenty if you’re not a cruise ship buffet aficionado, and the service and ambience are worth the price. I love the front porch on a breezy summer night, and patrons are often locals, boding especially well in Key West where a trip to Duval might become a tedious affair.

Wow! We were impressed with this spot. Originally the plan was to check out another local hot spot, but they were slam full, so we walked down to Nine One Five. After a short wait we sat down at the bar where we were taken very great care of by the bartender. Our table was ready shortly after, and we moved. I had the NY Strip Lollipops and I was very impressed! Such a great flavor! My boyfriend enjoyed the Filet Raviolis, and they also looked incredible. If you like Calamari, this is also a must! We will be returning next time we visit Key West.

Over rated place. Their fish menus are not local fish, but salmon and tuna that are shipped far away. The menu had ‘local snapper’ but when asked for that dish they said not available… You don’t need to visit key west to have this stuff… Amount is also very small.

Dinner for 7. — Ambiance(4⁄5) Great atmosphere. Really enjoyed the patio area, though the A/C inside would have been much better. — Service(4⁄5) Service was very good and speedy. Only complaint would be that the waiter seemed a bit sloppy pouring the wine, and no explanations were given on what kinds of cheeses and sauces were on the cheese plate. — Bread(3⁄5) Decent bread with a standard olive oil/balsamic dressing. — Octopus Carpaccio, $ 16(4⁄5) Sliced thin and dressed well. The yuzu was a great choice. — Beef Carpaccio, $ 14(4⁄5) Pretty standard. The arugula and cheese were fitting accompaniments. — Cheese Plate, $ 16(3⁄5) Brie was really good(blue was ok) but there wasn’t much else on the plate. — Grouper Ceviche, $ 14(2⁄5) Again, great flavor combination, but I’m not sure if grouper is the right fish for ceviche… or at least in this particular preparation, it didn’t seem like the right choice. The fish was very rubbery. — Ahi Tuna Gravlax, $ 16(3⁄5) Tasty dish, though I thought it was more of a regular ahi tuna dish than a true gravlax(which I think is normally a cured salmon with dill, sugar, and salt). Found the name to be a bit misleading in that the flavors weren’t really consistent with what I expected a gravlax to be. — Pan Roasted Grouper, $ 32(4⁄5) Fish was perfectly cooked, with smooth flaky layers. But, I found it to be underseasoned. The succotash was really, really good on the side, and that really helped elevate the dish. — Key Lime Bar, $ 8(3⁄5) At first, I was in heaven. Strong key lime flavor, really delectable sorbet. But, quickly, the dish became cloyingly sweet. And that almost ruined it for me. — Value(3⁄5) I have some problems with the value here, particularly with the appetizers. The cheese plate was the biggest offender, with very little to eat and a fairly hefty price. The other portions also were pretty tiny considering the high appetizer prices. — Final Word Really cozy ambiance and one of the better restaurants I ate it in Key West. It’s not the most inventive place and there are some value/execution issues, but I would certainly go back.

BEWARNEDOFTHEFLIES On vacation for a holiday weekend we had dinner here with a party of 4. The service and the ambiance were excellent. We started with cocktails and appetizers. We had the truffle fries and the cheese platter. The fries were delicious and the cheese platter while tasty had tiny portions. I ordered the Thai whole fish despite the warnings of a fly attack. Believe them! The flies attacked us. This was a great way to start my key west holiday weekend!
