So many lovely things I wanted to buy but couldn’t afford. I especially loved the high quality t-shirts with witty phrases and pictures sewn onto them. I would have gotten one, but I think it was $ 40 and I have way too much clothing as it is. I also loved the colorful dishes and plates with shrimps painted on them but the platter that caught my eye was $ 80. These are by no means bad prices for what they are, I simply couldn’t spend that much. I did, however, walk away with the cute wall decoration that I posted a picture of here. It says, «A walk on the beach restoreth my soul.» I believe the phrase painted on it is applicable for my time spent in Key West, so that makes is a very fitting and unique souvenir.

So much to love about this gallery! It’s woman-owned, and most artists are women(although that’s not obvious when you walk in there). We met Fran Decker the day we stopped in, and she was so friendly that we returned at the end of our trip to buy art from this shop. The hand-painted napkins by Janis Childs, of key limes, are beautiful and functional. There is original art, at reasonable prices. A rarity, in Key West.
