Fits right in on the street it’s located on: Despite having a Starbucks sign affixed in iron above the front door, this is not a real Starbucks but a licensed one. They’ll accept your Starbucks card here as payment but won’t allow you to use it to redeem any«rewards.» So why’d I do business here? I didn’t. I cancelled my order and left.

I had a great experience. The one star goes to the company because I and a friend saw zero Americans working there the last couple times. Are they too cheap to hire Americans at a living wage? The people who have made Starbucks an Empire. Are they contributing to our employment problems in the US. Looks like it, sorry, but this is definitely a sign of poor wages in Florida. Plus they won’t even take my rewards card because they’re owned by the hotel.

Wow that was pretty mad salty for a New Yorker. Well when the supervisor who is taking care of the register is super nice to a white lady in front of you. Mad salty to you, even worse to ur friend(both not white) and then said: «How is ur day sir? What can I get for you?» To the following white patron. I havent seen that since Indianapolis in 2013. Ewwww.

Sorry I can’t comment on their drinks, because they didn’t have any! They were out of everything! Not such a great business model to be out of your staple drinks. C’mon Starbucks you aren’t new to this… Needs much improvement.

Stopped in on a very hot afternoon for cold drinks(not my usual hot, so I had a question). The staff was rude when asked questions, overcharged, and made one drink incorrectly and did not give us a receipt before starting the next customer. When asked about the incorrect drink size, she said it was what we were charged for, but still, no receipt. Above all, they were very dismissive and unhelpful.

The Duval Starbucks is a very clean shop, great place to sit and relax. The coffee on the other hand was terrible. I have been ordering the Blonde coffee everyday for years now at many Starbucks throughout the United States. The Key West location has been the only Starbucks to screw up brewing the coffee. The staff tried to be nice but when you don’t speak English very well its hard to be in the service industry. This is a tourist spot so I doubt they will ever fix the problems.

Service was OK. Would not give me my reward. WTH? I thought this was a Nation wide chain. Should be able to get my reward at any StarBucks.

Staff was pretty friendly, didn’t speak English too well but it wasn’t hard to have a conversation. I was pretty bummed they don’t carry the souvenir Starbucks mugs. Looked like another Starbucks was being put in on the island so hopefully that location will have them in the future. If you use the restroom there make sure the use the little hook lock on the door otherwise anyone with the code can just walk in.

For now, I’m pretty sure this is the only Starbucks in all of Key West. I think they are building another one up by the north end of Duval by Mallory Square. This Starbucks is part of the building which is the Crowne Plaza hotel at the south east corner of the building at the intersection of Duval and Fleming. The store front faces Duval and the restrooms are in between the store and the seating area far to the back of the building through a hallway. The seating area is rather large for a slim footprint. There are 2 «soft» seat areas and other tables in the middle. The seating area is actually a decent size and is a friendly open area considering it’s practically separated from the store. Being a hot day I had asked for an iced tea. The thing about the iced tea is that the cup is almost completely filled with ice, maybe an inch below the top of the cup. This makes for a very SMALL drink considering the ice displaces so much would be liquid. After I took about 5 sips of my drink and it was finished. I went to the front to basically ask why the drink was so filled with ice. The barista then poured my ice into some sort of measuring cup and ran some liquid displacement test and told me that’s how it was made and the ice level was correct. Perhaps that is how the«recipe» is but it’s deceiving and kind of stupid. I don’t really want to pay 4 dollars for what equates to about maybe 6 ounces of iced tea when I have a «VENTI» cup. Venti means twenty right? Twenty ounces of space consumed by maybe 14 ounces of ice is not my cup of tea. I was however given another one for no charge. If I didn’t have the drink to stay I’d be too far away to want to walk back do something about it but I guess I learned my lesson this time. Order another cold drink, not the iced tea.

Can someone explain why I have to pay 50% more for an iced tea that isn’t even shaken? Add in surly baristas and I’ll drink black tea at Glazed for more money and be happy.

Not the friendliest Starbucks I have ever been to but they still get a rock-star rating from me for very good reason. I have been in this Starbucks’s several times and I have walked by the place even more. I have never seen this store less than extremely busy. When I have gone in before, I have always been treated fine and I have received my drink in a timely manner at least as timely as possible for the size of the crowd. they have always been personable to me. as friendly as possible without their drink quality being hurt or me having to wait too long. They strike the good balance

Can’t give these guys anymore than one because they do not honor the free coffees that are earned. My free birthday coffee expires the end of January and they would not give it to me. Good and bad for me: the good is we are at Key West until the middle of February. The bad is there are no other Starbucks here. I’m sure you get plenty of business from the boat people but I won’t be back.

This is a great Starbucks, we got exactly what we ordered. The staff is friendly if you are nice to them. Everything here costs a bit more because it has to be trucked in from the mainland, like everything else in key west. Glad I found Starbucks here, not happy without my daily fix!

I love the new renovation! It truly needed it. It’s so nice and clean now. I always have a good experience when I come in at night. The day time is a totally different crew. I usually go at night and it’s the same girl and two guys and their so nice to me. Fast, friendly service. And I’m sooo thankful they honor locals!

Located inside the La Concha Crown Plaza Hotel this is the only Starbucks in Key West. Are the products over-priced sure, can the staff have a little bit of an attitude perhaps but I’m convinced this is partly due to this being one busy Starbucks. It doesn’t make it right but that’s how it works here. During my several visits here I’ve seen a lot and witnessed a lot of frustration on both sides of the counter but I’ve never had any issues with any of the products I purchased here. All in all this is a great Starbucks no matter the wait no matter the prices, you can love this location or hate it, nothing will change because the lines will continue to be long every morning, every evening and throughout the day that’s the luxury of having no competition, so until a really great coffee shop opens in close proximity to this location nothing will change.

Walked in, got some coffee, and then needed to use the restroom later on. Unless I totally missed it, there was no hand soap. However, there was bar soap! Disgusting.

The owner takes advantage of people: prices are 2 – 3 times higher than NYC Starbucks. Plain bagel with butter — 4 $ most expensive bagel I ever had. GREEDYOWNER that takes advantage of people. Every other tourist double check with cashier if they did a mistake !!! GREEDYGREEDYGREEDYGREEDY& STUPIDOWNER !!!

We came here for another mug to add to my collection. One lady was eating behind the espresso makers, trying to be sneaky. The woman who rang me up had some major attitude! She was staring off into space and didn’t even crack a half grin. Go drink some coffee or something!

I love starbucks cause they always have cinnamon to put in your coffee. Café Americano iced with sprinkles of cinnamon is my drug of choice. It’s hit or miss on the staff. Sometimes your served by really friendly people, and other times giving a rather rude reception. But I don’t care, i’m there for the coffee!
