Life changing experiece for me! Emmi is soft spoke, kind and yet will gently guide you in the proffessional and RIGHT way to do permanent makeup. She is not one to tell you want to hear, she doesn’t need the business to lie and do a bad job just because that is what the custome WANTS. She tells you like it its, and I LOVE THAT.
I have ALWAYS hated my lips, they have no shape and are on the thin side. Consequently, I have worn makeup and drawn my iips in PERFECTLY EVERY DAY numerous times a day for all my adult LIFE!!! Now Emmi helped me find the perfect cupids bow tatto just like I do it myself I dont CARE if my lipstick comes off because I have my lips on underneath!!! I actually go out of the house with just blush on now. Tuuuh Duuuh! For me this has been one of those things I wish I would have just done many many years ago.
Emmi is the best in the permanent makeup business on the islands so RUN, don’t walk to do any permanent procedure with her. Her salon is clean, well appointed and LOVELY and she is super personal and even answerd her phone the day the salon was closed. I just asked some routine questions about post treatment that I was glad I did!
I am saving for my eyeliner tattoo in the next couple of months and then eyebrows! I am SUPER EXCITED FOR MY EYES!!!

I initially went to Be Beautiful to get my eyeliner done. I had had it done a couple years prior, but it was pretty hellish. The lady put some stuff in my eyes with what felt like toothpicks that caused them to tear up so much they wouldn’t hold the ink and that was $ 300 out the window. Emmi assured me it would not be like that so I gave it a try. For starters, I found out the stuff that went into my eye was numbing ointment. But it is not supposed to go in them! Long story short, Emmi applied the ointment with a soft q-​tip, gave it time to do its job and did my eyes almost pain free without shedding a tear! Not a single tear! I came back a month later and got my eye brows done and a month after that we did my lips. Before my tattoos, I rarely wore makeup. Only for a nice dinner or when I would visit the mainland. Now I look very naturally fresh, bright and with a look ready for any occasion. And my husband, who loved me without makeup LOVES the new me!

Emmi Thorup is the best around. She has been doing facials & eyebraw waxing on me for the past two years. Her new location is beautiful and very welcoming, located in Kihei.
Emmi uses all natural products and cleans my face very thoroughly. She also massages my arms, hands, neck, shoulders and scalp. I also buy her products for home care and it has helped my skin look the healthiest it has ever been.
I have refered my family, friends and co-​workers to her. They got permanent tattoo on there eyebraws and eyeliner. I will hold off on tattoo because I am afraid of needles.
Also I purchase gift certificates from her and give it for presents — which works out perfect because everyone loves her work. Emmi works independently and gives the best advice to her clients.

Emmi is THE BEST ! I got eyelashes and my eyebrows tattoo, and it couldn’t had been better… Now I just wake up and I’m ready to go (no more spending time and money with eye liners and mascaras) A lot of people thought I looked younger but couldn’t point out what I did different because everything looks very natural ! Emmi is also a sweetheart and her salon is absolutely gorgeous and extremely clean! I recommend this place 100% Just do it and feel beautiful :)

I’ve gotten my brows done 2 times and my lashes done numerous times. Also, I’ve had my eye liner tatted on. Emmi is so great at what she does, with years of experience. I really trust her with my face, as she always does a perfect job. If you want to go to someone you can trust, definitely see Emmi. I’m very happy with all the work she’s done =)
