Worst hair experience I have ever had.
I’m at a loss of words, at the outcome of my hair.
Naturally a dirty blonde with highlights, I wanted a slight change and decided to go with a ash blonde color.
My stylist was nice, but right away I knew he had no idea what he was doing. He had to consult with the other stylists serval times, on how «they» would do my hair, I did not feel comfortable sitting in his chair.
He never used any conditioner after washing my hair, and proceeded to use a very fine comb to brush my hair out, from top to bottom!!! You never do that! Half my hair was ripped out, it took about 30 mins to comb. I have short straight hair, that has never been an issue to comb.
A toner was then applied to my hair, which turned the very top an ashy blonde color and rest a weird grey. He over toned! My hair looked nothing like it was supposed to.
He proceeds to not even fully blow dry my hair. He gave me a lite dusting of a trim, and charged $ 30!
Overall I was charged and outrageous price. I was so disappointed with the entire experience. My hair looked awful and needed to be fixed, but there was no way I was going back there. I ended up going to another salon, they totally fixed everything thank goodness.

Sara is just AMAZING. Always on point and pays attention to detail. By far the BEST fade I’ve ever gotten. Welcoming environment and friendly staff. I LOVE this salon and everyone in it.

Gene Marie did an awesome job on the color of my daughter’s hair yesterday. It was a tough color job since Jenna wanted grey and has blonde hair. Gene Marie explained exactly what she was doing and Jenna got a great color. Exactly what she wanted. The ladies in the shop all work great together and it was fun to watch the transition of color. Gene Marie also did the cutest mohawk on a 3 years old. He has a head of hair that is thick and he moves around like a 3 year old. His cut was awesome and he looked adorable when Gene Marie was done. I would highly recommend Gene Marie for all your hair needs.

Best cut and color I can say I have had has come from stylist Gene Marie. Would and do recommend her to any and everyone. She gets exactly what you each time. My blond is the best it has ever been and I’ve seen her ombré work which is nothing less than amazing.

I have had hair cuts from 3 of the stylists there. Gene Marie, Sarah Angel and my current barber Sara Cuda. All three have garnered me compliments after I get my haircut. Great prices and great stylists.
I highly recommend all of these stylists and barbers.

Sarah Angel has been rescuing my hair for years now! Even though I have moved away for college my trips home always include a visit to this salon. The girls here are amazing and really make a point not only to work with what you want, but also what you’re hair will work with. I like cuts and colors that are low maintenance and Sarah keeps me looking good until my next trip back. I remember having my hair done there and a bride called saying her stylist canceled that day. J Meier to the rescue! They told me it happens all the time and the girls got the bride and flower girl in and out with exactly what they wanted. So accommodating and friendly! Best salon on Maui!
