Do you like beer? If you do, go here as soon as possible. The brewery is a fantastic place to stop, relax and reflect. It is nearly a second office for me. They feature some of the best and most creative beers brewed anywhere. If you are interested in breweries as a business, you will be wise to take the tour. It is one of the best run and designed breweries in the world. I have met the CEO and he is one of the nicest and thoughtful business leaders around. It’s not hard to figure out why they are doing so well.

Great beer, great prices, and great people. Often you’ll find a quick moving line, a great selection, live music, and food from the trucks outside. An ever-expanding choice of schwag is available upon entry(T-shirts, mugs, etc.). Also, plenty of games to keep the kids in us busy and content — 5 foot tall Connect 4? Yes, please! They will be opening a full restaurant within a year or so. I expect when they do they’ll be one of the premier spots on Maui to visit(esp for vacationers).

Maui Brewing Company is the only brewery I’ve tried so far that I enjoyed absolutely every beer on my flight. Big props for that! Leading the pack for me were the Hot Blonde(with Comapeño Peppers) and the Coconut Porter. I spent a very pleasant few hours on the patio where I positioned myself to have a partial view of the ocean off in the distance. A lot of folks were ordering food from the stationed food truck & bringing it back to the patio. The grub looked good, but I didn’t partake. I bought a few pint glasses on my way out as a souvenir because I dig their sea turtle logo. I really hope these beers make their way to SC in the near future. Mahalo Maui Brewing!

Good brewery tour. Learned about the process. Really enjoyed the samples. Cute little hipster style room where you can order samples or full beers. Usually a food truck outside for lunch.

We stayed in Maui from Wednesday thru Sunday, and ended up coming here 3 times(one of the times was for a tasting and a tour). We love this brewery! They have some of the best microbrews, with the Coconut Porter being the favorite of them all. After the tour we became even bigger fans after learning all about the company’s core values. The ambiance is very clean, open, and simple with good lighting. It’s an overall classy feel, and not dingy and dark like a lot of other breweries. Even the root beer is delicious! They have rotating food trucks and fun games you can play. The staff is so nice and inviting, especially the ladies behind the merch counter. The brand is well thought out all around. P. s. Do yourself a favor and try one of their yummy cookies available at the bar !

We stopped in to the Maui Brewing Company to check it out and were very impressed by their operation. They are in a new and big beautiful building off the beaten path in Kihei. I wasn’t expecting them to have so many beers to offer! There were over 30 beers on the board with only 1 sold out for the day. They also had 1 guest beer, 1 guest cider(about the only option for Celiacs besides their Root Beer). I knew some of their beers from seeing them in the stores and in restaurants but I was not expecting to see so many more that I had never heard of. Thankfully they had flights of beer where you can choose 6 — four oz. samples. They will also give you a little taster of any beers before you commit. I tried — Kula Pumpkin Ale, Bursting Heart(with Kula Strawberries), Mana Wheat(with Gold Pineapple), Barefoot Brew(with local honey), U’Ala Pale Ale(with Sweet Potatoes), Hot Blonde(with Comapeño Peppers). All were very delicious but the Hot Blonde was spicy! I’m glad I sampled all of them before deciding which order to drink them in. I do like spicy stuff but not sure I could handle a whole glass of this one. It is definitely worth a try though! Their facility is awesome! Very spacious, bright and new. Polished concrete floors. Very industrial. They sell custom shirts and apparel, glassware, and other assorted items. They have a few bakery treats to buy but they also have a roster of Food Trucks that set-up outside and you are allowed to bring in their food. Make sure to try Big Beach BBQ, one of our favourites, if they are there. Also someone from Cow Pig Bun(CPB), a restaurant in an adjacent building, came by to take orders from people. They were delivering To-Go food to the tables. I’ve heard good things about CPB so they are worth a try too. We had a musician set-up on the patio where we were sitting. Always great to have some beers and listen to local music. They also had a ton of board games! Plus a giant Connect 4 game made by one of the brewery staff. Giant Jenga too! All in all we had a great visit and I am sure we will be back! So much fun to be had here. This should be one of the destinations on your Must-Do list when you visit Kihei. I guess if I do 5 more flights now I can work my way through all of their beers! Challenge accepted Maui Brewing!

Wellll it’s a brewery. So as Celiacs go, only 1 or 2 options. Today root beer or a 22oz bottle of guest cider that you can’t take to go. We were greeted at the bar, ID’d and banded like birds. Started a tab(leave a card), and checked out the impressive wall of beers. Wow. 30+ available. My other half sampled a flight even though we arrived during happy hour… They give you a sheet & you write the #‘s of the beer on the board you’d like. Except Jaws… we get it. High alc & expensive. If you aren’t sure you’ll like your choices, they’ll offer you a taster. You might wanna consider a sample of Hot Blonde before you dive right in.(Spiceeeeyyyyy– he was glistening after his 4oz flight size!) Overheard one of the beermisstresses talking about Big Rock beer-she knows her Canadian brews. Kudos! Brewery that operates as sustainably as possible… good news(low guilt bevs). You should look at that PV solar array on the roof when you park. Nice. Windows all over, nice natural light. Seating indoors and out. Board games! Woohoo! Music, one man show when we visited. Food trucks-rotate daily. Smells delish. Check Twitter for the weekly schedule. Plus, someone from Cow Pig Bun came over to offer delivery of to-go items! Neat! Bathrooms… yes, they deserve a note. You don’t expect much at most beer industrial operations, but woah. Over deliver! Concrete sinks are unique design, stalls are generously sized, and a thoughtful purse hook.

The location of this brewery is set off the beaten path, above the highway in Kihei. All though the establishment is located in an industrial type area, the views from the outside seating area are pretty rad. Maui Brewing does make some awesome beers including their Bikini blonde, Kihei Kolsch and Hop Kine. They’re a tad bit on the expensive side at 6 $ a pint. Especially considering you can buy a 6 pack at the store for 12 $ bucks. That’s OK though, it’s worth the trip to the brewery and to check it out at least once!

Awesome beer selection and they have rotating food trucks who park outside if you get the munchies. My favorite of the ones we tried was the Imperial Oatmeal Stout. This is not for the lightweight as it is over 9% ABV. We did the tour and learned about their impressive growth in the last few years. I was disappointed with the glasses you get at the end of the tour — 4 oz sample glasses with their logo. I was hoping for pints to add to my collection.

Very cool place. We were excited to find out they were in Kihei! Hopefully someday they are able to expand into a full service restaurant as well. I will be reviewing the absolutely PHENOMENAL food truck they had outside though, so keep your eyes open for that one! Now to the beers. Yum! My fave was the Doppel!

My friends and I stopped by here on our last day on Maui and it ended up being the highlight of the trip. The tour is a must, Buck was awesome and definitely knows his stuff. I love Maui Brewing beer so being able to drink it from the source was a great experience. If you’re on Maui do not skip this.

It’s nice to see how well Maui Brewery has grown. Love there new facility and tasting room. The location of this new place is now in Kihei. The place is so much bigger than the old place in Lahaina. PARKING: Is free and have a lot of space. SERVICE: This was excellent and very friendly. BEERS: All of it was good. From their IPA’S, Stouts, and Lager. Expescially the Imperial Coconut Porter. That just became one my favorite beer for Maui Brewery. It’s to bad they don’t can it! FOOD: They don’t serve food at the brewery, but they have food trucks in the front, so check out their website to see what truck or trucks are going to be there. I do recommend doing their tour. It the best tour that I have been on, and it’s totally worth it.

My parents and I came here while we were on vacation in Maui. We tried to take a tour during our visit but it was all booked up, so that was a bummer. We chose a flight of beers to taste. They have a great selection of beers to choose from. I especially liked the«Bikini Blonde» beer. It was really light and tasty. The only thing that I didn’t like about this place is that they don’t serve any food. There was a food truck across the street though that we went to that served delicious food. If you get food from the food truck, you’re allowed to bring it back into the brewery.

Something’s BREWing. As I’m not much of beer drinker, I was a bit apprehensive about venturing to MBC during my recent trip. But, after some convincing, and the fact that I was keen to try/see new things on Maui, I eventually relented. Upon my friend’s recommendation, we made reservations for their 1230pm tour, and overall I would say it was time well spent. LOCATION: New facility in a newly developed area of Kihei above Pi’ilani Highway. Free parking available in their lot. NOTE: I’m honestly not sure how much the tour fee was as I did not make the reservation. They do ask that people show up at least 20 minutes before the tour begins. Check-in for the tour at the bar in the tasting room. For more comprehensive information about the brewery, hours, and tour, please visit: As I’ve already mentioned, we checked in for the tour at the bar in the tasting room. My friend and I decided to have a beer since beverages aren’t allowed on the tour, and for the fact that we were 20 – 25 minutes early. The tasting room itself is spacious and has both indoor and outdoor areas. One aspect in particular that was unique was the use of barrels doubling as bar-height tables. It was different and added a sort of personal touch to the room. The tour started promptly and we were given stickers to signify we were visitors on tour, as well as a short set of rules to follow while in the brewery area: 1. Wear protective goggles(supplied by the brewery). 2. Stay together with the group. 3. Do not wander into restricted areas. Our guide was very friendly and passionate about providing us information about the company, company history, the steps concerning the brewing process, and showing us the various machines and equipment used. Overall, the tour was very informational and our guide(sadly my memory fails to recall his name) was quite friendly, patient, and answered all of our group’s questions. At the completion of the tour, our entire group was given samples of four beers on tap in the tasting room. It was quite nice to enjoy these beverages in the air-conditioned tasting room since the brewery was so humid. side NOTES: As of our visit on 8÷22÷15, the brewery was not serving any food on premises. They’ve made arrangements with various food trucks to park on the street fronting the building during business hours. The tour guide also mentioned that they’re in the process of developing/constructing a restaurant in the front area of the building(right around the corner from the tasting room). Lastly, our guide mentioned that they’ve only occupied their current building for just seven months. BOTTOMLINE: An overall positive experience at Maui Brewery. The tour was very informational and educational all at the same time. Cheers!

Went to the tasting room one night with a group of friends just to hang out while on our trip. I’m not a beer drinker, but I loved the atmosphere. The room is quite large, AIRCONDITIONED, and is super kid friendly. There was a life size game of jenga and connect four that the kids and our friends enjoyed. The entire group also sat around and played a good game of Battle of the Sexes while trying out flights of beer. I had cider on tap which was quite delicious. I’d definitely recommend coming here for the beer lovers, or parents just wanting to find a chill place to relax with their kids for a bit.

I went here for the first time for a meet-up. I don’t really drink beer very often – so I was really excited to have see delicious root beer on tap! Fill ‘er up! It was so good! Reminded me of Sarsaparilla root beer from my childhood days. There was someone playing music in the outside patio but it was really loud for such a small area. I felt like I was yelling at everyone while trying to have a conversation. The bartender was very polite and cheerful and knew a lot about beer. My friends had questions, he had answers. They even had samples to try which is pretty nice. But I’ll stick to my root beer – cold and refreshing :) Games were available for use while the sun was setting. The place was really clean and offered quite a bit of seating. Different food trucks offer food to purchase and they are located right out front of the venue.

The Maui Brewing Company is a must visit when on the island! My family took a tour and were totally wowed by the enormity of the operation. Our guide was very knowledgeable and pleasant. After the 30-minute tour we received a sampler of their 4 flagship beers. All of that for only $ 5? No brainer. It was so nice to relax on the patio and eat nachos from the Mexican food truck while my kids played life-size Connect Four(yah, seriously!). I’m hoping to stumble upon this beer in the Bay Area!

6 Stars ++++++ California is a Craft Beer enthusiasts paradise, but I still prefer Maui Brew Co. A few spots around me in the Bay Area carry the blessed liquid & I stock up! KIHEI is the greatest little laid back town around & I am constantly counting down until my next visit… I was so happy to hear MBC was moving their operations from the hustle and bustle of Lahaina to the Tech Park area of Kihei. I recently returned from 11 nights in Kihei & of that time I spent 4 afternoons at the new tasting room. I primarily drank the Lorenzini Double IPA. At MBC we got our fill or Connect-Four(Normal and Jumbo Size). A bunch of Jumbo Jenga, Corn Hole and Battle Ship… I LOVED Playing games and drinking great beers in the amazingly beautiful facility and surroundings. Eventually the Brew Pub Restaurant will open up and this place won’t be such a hidden gem … So until then keep enjoying the daily food trucks.

Walking into MBC was like being transported back to San Diego without leaving the islands! It boasts a huge, open tasting room with a nice outdoor patio and a view of the ocean. And this local brewery has so many more beer options than I would’ve expected. We sat down and had ourselves a nice sampler(which included Lorenzini Double IPA, Pueo Pale Ale, and Redcock Doppelbock,) and a few rounds of Connect 4 and Battleship. F7? Plus, they had guest taps from Modern Times(yay San Diego breweries)! Good job Maui for steppin’ up your beer game. Your Bikini Blonde was my vacation go-to. I’ll keep an eye out for your deliciousness on The Mainland!
