Andrea at Snorkel Bob’s was very helpful. Her store was full of customers and she calmly and cheerfully took care of everyone. We rented our masks and fins for two weeks. The price was fair and the find and masks were in good condition. I highly recommend!

We just came in to book a snorkel boating adventure for next week. Zelda there is super nice! She helped us out and even gave us some tips and spot ideas to travel to on a map! Definitely recommend going in to see them :)

Snorkel Bob’s knows Maui. Sue was happy to give us tips on snorkel sites and beaches to enhance our trip. Snorkel gear can be rented for a great price. Also available to purchase new or used. Locations all over Maui.

These people are so dang nice. And cheap to rent snorkel gear! No pressure anywhere to do anything extra. Just really nice with great suggestions.

Sign on door said«Open» and«8−5». Stopped by at 4:50PM. Folks(staff) inside, lights on… but the door was locked. They saw me pull up to return gear but did not acknowledge my presence. Poor customer service… when there are so many options. – Mike

LOVE this place! Aaron is extremely informative and helpful! He booked us on some great tours and rented us really good equipment! Make sure to check them out for your gear and tours when you are in the area.

We always use Snorkel Bob’s when we either can’t bring our own gear to the island or we are getting gear for friends. This time we were getting fins, and arrived at the shop shortly before they opened at 8am. The worker was efficient enough, but she just seemed like she didn’t want to be there and was rather antagonistic when I asked about things like water conditions and using reef shoes with the fins. But she did bring out my wallet when I left it on the counter, so she saved me much hassle! We will certainly be back, the gear is top-notch and returning it after hours is always a nice bonus. I just wish the clerk had been nicer.

Snorkel Bob’s is the best. You’ll see signs all over Kihei and Maui for«Snorkel Gear — 1.50 a day!»… forget those. This was the second time I’ve rented from Snorkel Bob’s and had a great experience. We rented two sets of the top of the line gear(they have 3 levels of snorkel gear, and 3 price ranges accordingly) which only cost us $ 70 total for the week. When you think about how much snorkeling you’re going to be doing, it’s well worth it to have good snorkel gear! They include the bottle of goop to keep your goggles from fogging up, and I recommend getting the waterproof pouch(it looks like a fanny pack!) to wear while you’re out snorkeling with valuables in it. Nerdy, yes, but it’s always safe to take precautions. It was only $ 5 for the week to rent and the peace of mind was worth it. The after-hours drop was convenient, and it was hassle free to exchange one set of flippers after a couple of days for a different size.
