It’s exactly what you expect from a Subway — of course the food is average, did you expect anything different? Ate here twice during our 5 day stay in Maui. Service was good and price tag is even better.

I feel for Laura F, but my review is for the food and service. Its a nice big new Subway, located in a convenient location near Wailea, and there is plenty of parking. The sandwiches I ordered did not disappoint, although the cheese was missing on one of the sandwiches. This was a phone order. The sandwiches were ready for pickup when I arrived. Maybe a little more attention to detail. This is a new Subway, and they are still learning the ropes. I hope this business is successful, and stays at this location for a long time.

Check your credit card carefully after visiting this establishment! Upon leaving our wonderful vacation in Maui, we stopped at Subway to grab sandwiches for our flight home. While the sandwiches were fine, to our surprise when reviewing our credit card bill, we found they charged us 3 times, on 3 different days for the same purchase. I disputed the charge to the credit card company, online, and was informed to contact the vendor to resolve. So, I made a long distance to call to the store, then a call to the store manager at a separate number, explaining the issue. His response was that it was taken care of in December. I assured him it wasn’t, and that my online statement showed no correction to reverse the charges. He told me to contact my credit card company to reverse the charges and he would check back with his company. He then called back again, leaving a voice message, to tell me the two additional items were the dup charge and reversal, and even if the issue wasn’t corrected, he couldn’t credit my card unless I presented the card to him at the store. Seriously??? I would have to fly 3000 miles back to Maui for him to reverse the charges? Bad answer! I immediately called the credit card company, explained the situation and now they are going to have to work it out with the vendor. I hope to be reimbursed within 10 days. A note to the owner, Ron. Please learn how to fix errors that result from your computer system. Your lack of initiative to truly fix the problem lead to this poor review. On my future visits to Maui, I most definitely will not go to this establishment!
