This is my favorite place in Kilgore to dine. The Fire House Bar & Grill had great vibes amd great people ! The firefighters even serve from time to time ! Everybody is so nice and the food is amazing ! The burgers are the best in Kilgore !

Great place run by great folks! Nice selection of burgers & the sweet potato fries never disappoint. My husband loves their beans and I love the take away cups! My favorite is the Fire Marshal! If they served Bread Pudding I’d be happy!

I had the Reuben and my wife had the chicken fried chicken. The Reuben was fantastic and the sweet potato fries were good and plentiful. My wife said the chicken fried chicken was good, but needed a little salt(but better too little salt than too much). We got our meals to go and the total came out under $ 20. My wife said that the porch area here has a great view overlooking the golf course. We are going to hit that up as soon as possible. Its pretty cool that this supports the local fire department also.

Relaxed atmosphere and has a patio over looking the green ;) bar and grill! Food was ok… But some of the profit goes to great causes, so how can one complain!

Suppa with the bride– It’s near the homestead so why not give it try? Typical public golf course fair. Burgers, sammiches, salads and beer. The staff is friendly enough. The food is par(pun intended). The peanuts are fresh. Chips and salsa– chips, good. Salsa, Pace. My burger was good. Better than chain stuff. Jen had a chicken salad that looked much better than most around here. Note: you fetch your drinks and plastic ware. So it’s okay. Would I go back? Sure.

Heard about this place and decided to check it out. The main entrance area has been completely remodeled. Lots of fire fighter gear and equipment displayed. We were asked to seat ourselves and take care of our own drinks from a self serve area near the bar. Chips fresh from the fryer and salsa from a jar for an appetizer. Peanuts also on the table for snacking. My grilled chicken salad had real chicken not the pieces/parts served at some local spots. The salad was fresh and tasty. Service was okay. Might have been affected by the golf tournament participants flowing in for their 19th hole meal. I will try it again. Overall a nice meal.

New restaurant in Kilgore run by the Kilgore Fire Department. It is at the Meadowbrook Country Club, which is now open to the public since the city purchased it. I have been twice. I got the Reuben and it was excellent. I would like more sauerkraut and sauce, but I like a lot of that and the chief told me just to tell them more sauce next time. The sweet potato fries were very good. My second visit I got a burger, The Captains Pick. It had avocado, fresh jalapeños, Jack cheese, and avocado ranch. This was one of the best avocado burgers I have had in a long time. I ordered online both times and my food was ready when I got there. This place is great. Apparently, our firemen know their way around the kitchen.
