Asian Buffet

Honestly this is the best buffet I’ve ever been to, they have a ton of variety unlike others I’ve eaten at.

My family recently celebrated my grandma’s 95^th birthday at this restaurant. I went into this restaurant with low expectations, after all, it is a buffet and most buffets serve mediocre food in my opinion (unless you go to the ones in Las Vegas of course). I must say that I was pleasantly surprised with the food here. Some of the dishes, including the dessert, were delicious! They predominantly have Chinese, Japanese, and Korean food dishes, but they do have a decent variety of each. The service here was average, nothing to really rave about.
I would not mind dining at this restaurant again whenever I’m back in the area.

Love this buffet. One of the best in Killeen. Very affordable. Spacious. Workers are nice quick to get back with you. They check up on you regularly

Not bad to go sometimes when u miss some sushi and sea food. Food and price are ok. Every tuseday fresh oyster is served. I like their wonton soup and some vegetable dishes.

Went there for friend’s birthday celebration. There was plenty of parking available. Was easy to find right off the highway. Spacious building with plenty of sit down/​elbow room … everything is spread out nicely. Appreciated the variety of different cuisines. I personally enjoyed the nice touch of Japanese along with the Mongolian grill with it’s assortment of veggies and proteins. The grill a nice assortment of sauces … even spicy, so no worries about a bland stir fry. Ha Ha. Also enjoyed the salmon and the baked crab. Friendly and helpful staff kept the table clean. Will be a place we will return. Thank you for the positive experience!

Ok was what I expected. Food looks fresher and a good section. The only thing I took off a star if waste sushi covered with plastic wrap. I know I was to prevent it from drying but really makes me wonder how long they keep sushi out and not checking it. Never seen that done here in Dallas just make less
Staff is friendly but cut it with the fake names. You are Asian but you name is lavender. Cheesy and remember what name you have on the badge. Had to take a star off for that. Lol

Very good food. Lots of variety. Everything was very fresh and they kept fresh stuff coming out all the time so food wasn’t sitting a long time.

Great experience here. Nice relaxed setting. There is so many different kinds of food it’s amazing. The stir fry was amazing. I was extremely fond of the crab and recommend it to everyone. The staff was very friendly.

Overpriced and gross. Their customer service sucked and me and my husband paid like $ 15 a person for dinner and barely ate a plate of food each. Wish I could give this place no stars.

10% discount goes to 15% when there is a mouse at your table. Need I say more we were there for a unit lunch to say good bye to the unit XO and there was a dead mouse at our table.

Bathrooms were horrible, hard rolls, were seated at employees table and a customer walked by table, slipped on wet floor and I was splashed with hot soup. No apology. Never going back. Food wasn’t good.

Awful awful awful overpriced for old food sushi was poison no veggie selection in the Mongolian part and sauces were all mixed up teriyaki is not supposed to be spicy hot. Service was terrible and waiter hung over the table waiting to see what his tip was when I was signing credit card receipt. Avoid this place like the plague. I just can say it enough. …AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL ok 1 more time… awful

As I said, they fixed their wanton soup so i bumped them up to 4 stars. This trip it didn’t taste like a ball of dough. Everything was pretty good. Mongolian grill and sushi are both excellent.

First time I’ve walked into a buffet and they have sushi waiting for you!!! All you can eat Asian food and it taste great!!! And of course they have a little bit of American food. I’m just glad they don’t have a cotton candy machine like golden coral, which attracts loud children to your dinning experience.

Other then some of the food being cold everything overall was good. Srvice could have been better, sat with empty glasses for a while. If they keep an eye in the food making sure it’s not hard and cold and improve their service, this will definitely be a 5 star rating.

We gave it a shot in spite of the reviews just to decide for ourselves. We came at 11:45am so everything was still very clean and well stocked.
The service was great and the restaurant clean.
The food was very bland. The Chinese dishes had little to no flavor even if they were dark in color.
The sushi was mushy and falling apart as well. Even the sauces for the Mongolian BBQ were bland.
Overall we were pretty disappointed, nothing stuck out enough for us to come back.

Not a fan of dirty places or where parents allow their little kids to get their own food. Food was all over the floor (I slipped on some); the tables were also dirty; there was nothing someone could eat that wasn’t full of grease, MSG, or fat.
This review is clearly not for someone who likes typical American-​Asian buffet. Having lived in Japan, I wasn’t impressed with the potstickers; the options for vegetarians are lacking; and the ambiance is more for families with young kids.
The ice cream station was even dirty.
So we paid $ 75 for 5 of us, and that was with two waters. Won’t be back.

I’m not sure where everyone else has eaten but this place is NOT 4 ½ stars. The night we are there it was pitifully dirty with food all over the floor and dropped and not cleaned up on the buffet line. The men’s restroom was a mess water and soap all over the sink area and the floors were soaked with something. What I ate was typical Oriental buffet fare but it all had a strange but similar taste, hard to explain!
The second problem I have with it is the price… For 2 people it was $ 32.43 without a tip.
If you check my previous Unilocal you will see I don’t generally post a bad response, but this one was definitely worth the Bad post!

After coming here a few times, I’m going to boost the review up one star. The waiting to be seated isn’t always long most of the time. It’s a clean place & the service is nothing short of great. They’re very nice here. The selection is pretty good. Not as big as certain buffets where I’ve been to. I like the food here. Obviously not all but most. The best part of my meal is the ice cream.

Staff:
The staff were friendly. They constantly came by our table to refill our drinks and take away our used dishes.
Price:
They charge more than the other Asian buffet in the area.
Food:
It isn’t a large selection of food compared to the other Asian buffet in the area. They have 4 soup in their soup area, fried food area, Chinese food section, desserts section, sushi and a made to cook Mongolian food. The ebi was okay but the rest of the sushi was disappointing. I know good salmon and ahi and the salmon did not taste fresh. Yuck! The Chinese food was a disgrace. The noodles weren’t good and the different orange like chicken dishes tasted all the same; awful. The only thing worth eating here is the crab and cream cheese rangoon and their sweet bread.

The location is off the Central Texas Expressway where Ryan’s Buffet use to be.
Overall, I tried it because it was a new place to eat and someone recommended their sushi. I felt like it wasn’t worth my money and that next time I’ll go to Buffet Palace to get good sushi, good tasting Asian food and all for a great price.
