Had them cater for my sons graduation party & everything was excellent!!! My guest asked where the food was from. Everyone was very pleased. The manger Nancy was very professional. She offered us a taste of the different kind of enchiladas they serve. Thank you Rosa’s café for making my sons day a life time memory. Good was amazing. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to everyone.

So this isn’t the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the world(the premade taco shells killed it) but I will say it’s not that bad. I love love love freshly made flour tortillas and the ones here are great. Salsa I had tasted like nothing but tomatoes so that wasn’t too great. Not too expensive though, for me and my friend to eat only set us back 15 bucks. Service was pretty fast during lunch hour. Bathroom was tiny and stinky.

I mean I’m from south Texas so I know about authentic Mexican food, this wasn’t I would say it’s in between Taco Bell and authentic. But I liked the food don’t get me wrong this place still curbed my craving for Mexican food. I would totally recommend this place.

This place is the reason I’ll never go to taco bell again. When they didn’t give me my entire order and I’d already made it home, not only did they drive it out to me but they threw in a couple of cakes. Granted I didn’t eat the cakes but my daughter really enjoyed them. The drive thru is insanely fast. I guess that means they don’t really make it fresh, but I bet McDonald’s is envious of their assembly line. I love their tortillas. I buy them by the dozen even if I don’t eat there. When I wasn’t fast tex mex I will always look for rosa’s first.

I definitely wont be back here. I told the cashier I’m a vegetarian and I ordered a burrito with guac, rice, lettuce, and tomato. He told me he could give me all the stuff to make it and I could make it myself so I just said nevermind. What would even be the reason they cant make it for me?

I love how they do the chicken fajita. The meat has great flavor. They have big bags of pinto beans on site. They’re made from scratch. Sort of an industrial taste though. The rice is decent. The green sauce is watery but flavorful. Fresh tortillas. I had to knock a star off because the chicken fajita is expensive. Not enough meat for the price.

Here is the deal. I love the food but the customer service is horrible. The staff is always so rude, it’s almost like your always a inconvenience to them. I only go when I know I can handle the crappie service and truly just want a meal. So If you are hungry for a good meal but don’t mind crap service this is the place for you.

Rosa café is not real Mexican food. if you want taco bell and Del taco then this is the place there tacos are made out of flour tortillas not corn tortillas there hot salsas are serve out of pre made bottles not fresh made and hot like there supposed to be its really expensive I was expecting Chile rellenos or chiraquiles real Mexican food but it literally felt like I was at taco bell lol don’t go there rated a #0

This place is like a cross between Chevy’s in California and taco bell… the cost is there(high) but the quality is lacking for a place labeled Rosa’s Café. That name alone suggests mexican food… especially in texas but my experience was that of taco bell at authentic mexican food prices. The place is all self service and you order at a counter. The salsa bar isn’t bad and the tortillas are good but anything other than the fajitas is completely subpar and not worth the asking price.

Food was mediocre at best. VERY overpriced for the quality… I can’t believe I paid $ 3.00 for a basket of chips… with no cheese or anything. $ 9.00 for 3 tiny burritos and rice and beans… Also found a long black hair in my food, when I went to return it, the staff just said«oh» no apology, nothing. Just replaced my food without asking if I wanted a refund or anything. The décor is absolutely adorable and enjoyable, and the salsa bar was really good. Lots of choices. Other people seem to enjoy this place but, I probably won’t be back.

I like this place. It’s not authentic Mexican, but it’s good for fast food Mexican. It’s a step up from other fast food Mexican places and it offers a nicer vibrant atmosphere. There’s a salsa bar inside with a couple of salsas to choose from, plus onion, cilantro and limes. I LOVE their tortillas and all their employees are nice. It’s way too busy for me and my husband on Taco Tuesday’s but every other day is just fine for us. The drive-thru is super convenient too. Give it a try!

I’ve only been here twice and I just don’t like it. The tortillas were rubbery also I ordered chicken enchiladas and it didn’t taste good plus there wasn’t even any chicken in it, I was pretty much eating tortilla and red sauce. But my husband likes the tacos.

Quick, easy, cheap, yummy. Salsa bar is great so you can customize your meal to your heat preferences. Taco Tuesday is great. I can get 3 meals out of the Deluxe dinner, so very filling! Sopapillas are good, but the honey is «honey sauce» so you know it has hfcs in it before even looking at the label. Tortillas are made fresh where you can watch. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love this place!

Very disappointed. We ordered the enchilada plate and it was lukewarm. This means that the cheese inside was still hard and you could barely get the fork to cut through. The refied beans were obviously canned. They tasted just like the pre maid store brands. The salsa tasted like pace picante. I guess the only things they make from scratch is there flour tortillas which were just okay. I’m from San Antonio and this restaurant wouldn’t last 6 months there! We will not return or recommend to a friend.

I went there for s lunch meeting today and it honestly was good. The outside almost scared me away. I’m not into the whole kitsch thing and this place has it in spades. Don’t be fooled, the food is fresh and delicious. Here’s the skinny: The Good: Two words friend, Fresh Tortillas. It’s called a tortilla factory because it is one. Their tortillas were the closest I’ve ever had to homemade. Warm, slightly toasted and with just the right amount of chew. I had a soft beef taco with some fresh cilantro from their salsa bar. Yes, they have a salsa bar. I was the second customer so I can’t say how clean they keep it during the shift, but it was spotless when they first opened. The employees were friendly, but several of them were eating in the dining room, which begs the question, isn’t there a break room? I would hate to take my break with guests constantly interrupting my meal. The Bad: The décor is a bit over the top. Every bright color is on display and it looks like the owners went to a tourist-oriented shop in Mexico and bought the store. The lack of an employee dining area isn’t cool. They deserve a place away from customers so they can truly be on break. The Skinny: I’ve gone back and will recommend this place to anyone who asks.

Taco Tuesday. I stopped by for dinner and Rosa’s Café was packed. It seems like the restaurant is relatively mellow the rest of the week, but on Taco Tuesday, you’re lucky if you can get a table during the dinner rush. There’s a drive-thru if you’re on the go. The food is ok for the price, although it’s rather bland IMO. It’s Americanized versions of Mexican fare, which seem to be mostly generic burritos, tacos, enchiladas, and fajitas that you can easily replicate at home. There’s a fresh salsa bar, so that’s a plus. I thought everything was bigger in Texas including the food, but the burritos at Rosa’s Café pale in comparison to the massive forearm-sized burritos I’ve devoured from countless taco shops on the left coast. At roughly $ 2 for a Rosa’s burrito, the price is budget friendly for adorable, snack-sized appetizer bites, but some might still be left wanting. I guess it’s a step up from Taco Bell or Del Taco, which isn’t exactly a ringing endorsement, but if you’re content with ground beef, crunchy taco shells, flour tortillas, and shredded yellow cheese at reliable prices that won’t break the bank, then Rosa’s Café is just right.

Have to give this place credit for a good food setup and variety, along with fast service and some nice add-ons to your orders. Went here with a small group, and with a good variety ordered all the food came out nice and was very tasty. I was particularly happy with the enchilada’s I had, and pretty much inhaled it as it really hit the spot. The 3 star drop down though is due to pretty limited drink options, and lack-luster stuff as well. I don’t expect a full variety of top-notch stuff everywhere I go, but limited beer options, and the wife had the margarita which was very lackluster. It was pre-made margarita setup in a beer mug using table salt… felt like something I would have made at home, if I was being lazy about it(and I’m not even a big margarita fan). Still, the food was good and it was a nice experience overall coming here. This type of mexican eatery is something I’ve really liked elsewhere, so I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

I always enjoy Rosa’s. They serve beer and pre-made frozen margaritas. I normally don’t like margarita mix, but their margaritas taste pretty good. Everything I have tried here is tasty, but I like the guacamole tostada with beans the best. They serve the best sopapillas on the planet!
