Geechie’s Southern Style Restaurant

The restaurant is beautiful. The one server was okay. The food isn’t what I would consider being real soul food. Food is not worth the money. I had the big fish which was $ 10.99 for one piece of fish on a sweet bun. The Mac and cheese had no cheese and too much butter. The cole slaw was decent and the French fries are good.

I honestly feel like the restaurant is trying to take southern dishes and add some «class» to them when there’s really no need. I was referred by a friend but I was just not impressed. Service was slow. I don’t even remember what drink I had but there was way too much sugar. I didn’t finish my meal because it lacked everything. It just wasn’t good.

Pretty good food. Although I didn’t dine in I really enjoyed the food. The resturant was very clean. The food was great and the service was good. Immediately took my order and my food was ready in a timely manner. I will definitely eat here again, maybe next time I’ll dine in.

A can describe my entire experience in one word: SLOW. The service is painfully slow and they only have one server to cover the entire restaurant. Poor thing he was running ragged.
When we had the opportunity to order our food. It took an additional 30 mins to get it. Then my meal in particular was lukewarm. That was rather disappointing.
I had the fried catfish and chicken meal. I will say that the fish and chicken was seasoned very well. So for it to be damn near cold and still taste good. That was a magical feat to happen.
Also, why are we eating in the dark? None of the lights were on. We were eating from the light coming through the windows. It’s pretty obvious to your patrons that you are trying to save on electricity. But why at our expense?
On a positive note, the place is really clean and the strawberry kiwi drink is really good.
Really this rating deserves 2.5 stars. Because our server was pleasant, despite serving the entire restaurant by himself. My food still managed to taste good despite being lukewarm. The place has potential just need to work out the kinks.

First off they need to put a option for negative stars. This place, I can’t call them a restaurant doesn’t treat customers of the employees the right way. I suggest if you think about going to this place DON’T!!! It’s not worth the money or your time. STAY WAY for your own good.

I went here the other day I was very disappointed!!! First off the chicken was still bloody and it’s not the first time I’ve had that happen here. Second off the employees were just downright rude and acted like I was bothering them by eating there because they were all busy on their phones. I asked for a manager and with a confused look they said they don’t have one. I also wanted dessert and they said they only had apple pie which was fine but not for 7.00 I will not be coming back to this dump I doubt they will even be open much longer

The food is on point seasoned to perfection I started eating in the car not usual but the aroma just captured my senses and I had to dive in so two of my wings didnt make it home lol but overall the environment in this establishment is welcoming, the staff is friendly and have great hospitality, it’s clean, and I would definitely go back.
