As a self proclaimed bi bim bop connoisseur, I undertook the challenge of trying as many Korean restaurants as possible in the Ft Hood area. Koreana is currently 2⁄3. First, the little side dishes are well done and varied. We tried the yaki mandu as a starter, somehow these beat the little side dishes to the table, and while it was delicious it was also very greasy. It looked like it had been sprayed with sesame oil before being brought out. I liked the mix of meat and veggies though. We ordered the beef bibimbop and seafood bibimbop. The stone bowls were HOT to the point that the rice went beyond cackling and burned a little. They needed more oil on the bowls to prevent that. The veggies in the bowl were good but both of us had the same complaint– too much rice, not enough meat. I’ve tried Kimchi Hana, Korea Kitchen, and Koreana and Koreana was by far the most expensive with the least amount of meat. Finally, while the food was delicious– the restaurant didn’t feel clean.

So far service is fairly well employees seem too be join the tv and there are at least 2 tables dirty … Umm our waitress sneezed in our face while taking our order … We also found hair in our food the orange chicken doesn’t even look like chicken it looks fried cardboard and tastes like fried scrap metal the service is lousy and unprofessional all I have to say is I will be not coming again …

The food was great and the service was a bit lacking. Everything was going fine until a roach crawled onto the chair next to me as I was sitting in the middle of the restaurant. Needless to say I will not be coming back.

Food an service was great!!! I am new to Korean food so I am not and expert on the cuisine, but I do know when I like something. Everything was fresh and tasty. My son and I shared a Hot Stone Bi Bam Bab and it was great. We loved the crunchy layer at the bottom of the bowl that would form when it sat a while. We also had the potato pancake. It was also good. it was a little bland but I like spice.

Great customer service I asked for a dish that wasn’t in the menu and they made it for me anyways. Nice set up, u think they are one of the more expensive Korean restaurants but they are good. Would definitely record to a friend

Stringy meat that made me wonder about the origin. All the food swimming in the marinade tasted the same… just glad I was able to box up my leftovers and give them to my friend for her teenage son… because I know he’ll eat most anything, being a growing kid. Not impressed. Never again.

Delicious! The food was amazing(although not as amazing as it was in Korea) and the service was genuine. I had the cheese and ramen, and even though they only show fried mandu on the menu, they made steamed mandu upon request. The waitress even offered the tip of putting the steam mandu in the noodles(which was very good).

This place is wonderful! The food was superb… authentic…and delicious. Service was authentic as well. We had a leisurely meal… we weren’t hassled or bothered. I highly recommend the Bi Bam Bab and bulgogi.

Very delicious!!! Very authentic!!! I have eaten here numerous times and by far the best Korean food in town. The décor is a little dated but that doesn’t bother me. It’s a mom and pop run place, so don’t expect fast service, the food is worth the wait!!!

I went to Koreana tonight and it was amazing. We had Hae Mool Doh Bi Bim Bop(a very delicious seafood and rice dish) and Sam Yup So(uncured pork cooked tableside with yummy side dishes). This was my first Korean BBQ experience and I loved it! The food was so delicious, giant portion sizes, friendly staff. I cannot say enough about this place. I want to eat here every time I’m in Killeen and I really, really wish Koreana was in Austin :)

Koreana is my favorite restaurant in this city, I recommend it to anyone who likes oriental food. Everything I have tried here I have loved. I usually get ramen, it’s kinda spicy and in a HUGE metal bowl. I tried them all, vegetable is my personal go-to, but the combination ramen surprised me with the slice of American cheese on top. The bu golgi is the best I have ever had and all of their appetizers, sushi and sashimi are fresh and homemade. I love the crunchy Cali roll and man du. Every time I go, for the past four years, the same people are working. The waitress is very sweet and will do her best to explain menu items, a lot of which is in Korean, but there is a bit of a language barrier. Still an excellent sever! The building and décor is older, don’t expect anything fancy. It has a relaxed, home-y feel. Nothing extravagant, that is until you food comes out! The little side plates are awesome, my favorite are the bean sprouts. I always leave full and happy. They have take out, too. We never wait too long for the food or refills, even when there are lots of tables seated. I love this place and their delicious food!

Was it awful? No. initially it seemed fine, but once we sat down I began to notice how tired the décor was. For example, on the way to the restroom, I passed an old ladder and a broken down seafood tank. EW. Then I noticed that it seemed like someone had started to repaint, but stopped after he trimmed out the walls in pink. But on to the food. Meh. The gal-bi was bland. My husband ordered pork and beef bul-goki but got only beef. It tasted remarkably like my gal-bi. Side dishes were fine, although there were only a few. But there was no pickled daikon, which is my fave. WHAT? I asked about it, but the waitress just smiled and nodded. That was pretty much her response to everything, so I guess her English was limited. So all in all, I would say it was a disappointment.

Very delicious. There’s usually only one server, so it’s not good for a quick meal, but definitely worth the time. Also, no alcohol, so yeah…

Great authentic korean dishes. Although their korean dish is really good, some of their side dishes were served way too cold. They are short in hand so service was kinda bad when it got busy. Food pricing is not bad it is average.
