This is the best burrito place in the free world. It is very affordable, and it is consistent. We eat lunch here often, and it is always delicious.

Great place for some inexpensive Mexican food. The food comes out rather quickly. There is limited seating so it’s not ideals r large groups otherwise, I have no complaints.

After seeing such high remarks for this place I decided to give it a shot. After spending the last year in San Diego and tasting the mexican food there I was excited to get my burrito fix. I got the Super Burrito with steak along with rice and beans. I held off on the Cali Burrito and«steak fries» until I could eat it there. The burrito was just ok. The tortilla was a little stiff, but what killed it was the beans. They weren’t what I would have expected and kinda bland. The rice was also just ok. Good enough for a burrito, but not good enough separately. I’ll go back and try the fries and Cali burrito, but it’s nothing to rave about. Just a good spot for a quick bite. The flautas hopefully are nice and crispy with a touch of queso fresco on top. I missed those this time around as well. Customer service was good. The guy there was nice and carried conversation a bit and the place looked clean. Give it a shot, but don’t expect«the best thing you ever ate».

What caught my eye about this place is that it says California Style Mexican Food on the outside. I’m from Los Angeles, CA. and have tried lots of Mexican restaurants around here. This place is authentic Mexican food, reminded me of my Mother’s cooking. Every other place is Tex Mex(not authentic) and tastes like Taco Bell. But this place was just all around delicious! The owner is a very nice man and the food is great. I highly recommend if you’re looking for some good authentic Mexican food.

Have been coming to Los Burritos for over ten years. Since they were in Heights. Never let’s me down. Family owned and ran. Texas burritos and a crunchy beef taco. Oh my goodness. YES!

Make sure to Get a Texas Burrito it’s the best one in My Opinion! It’s huge and will give you your money’s worth! And yes get the carne Asada Fries! Enough for 4 people!

This place is great! A little back story, I grew up in San Diego, California and still consider the Mexican food there the best in the country. My favorite thing was California burritos which are Carne Asada, fries, sour cream, cheese, and sometimes guacamole. This place has California burritos! They are really GOOD, the carne asada is very similar to what I loved from San Diego, and the fries were perfect. I will be back here for sure and soon. They even have machaca here which, if you haven’t had it, do yourself a favor. Please eat here, I want this place to last. Best taco/burrito shop I’ve had in Texas.

You had me at Carne Asada fries. Being a proud Californian(SF Bay Area represent, we out here), this place brings me one step closer to home. Tucked away, humble little spot. Reminds me of the standard taqueria I would roll through on a late night food crave or a drunken night out(which is a very good thing). The California Burrito is pretty on point, no gimmicks and straight up. Carne Asada, sour cream, cheese and fries wrapped in glory. Beats the hell out of tex mex. If you’re craving that west coast vibe definitely make this spot a destination. Side note: Perhaps change the salsa in the salsa bar. Maybe a new recipe or something a little thicker. Otherwise keep up the great work!

First time visit. Amazing, fresh and authentic. My kids had the quesadilla with lengua. I had the chimichanga and husband had the tacos. we ordered guacamole and chips and it was good with the chili and salsa. It was very warm in there and that’s why they didn’t get 5 stars. I would suggest this to anyone who likes real Mexican food. Very clean restrooms and tables.

My go-to spot! Close convenient and great tasting beats the hell out of Taco bell and most local Mexican restaurants great service and friendly. Salsa bar is the best I always get extra sauce for home! Chipotle burrito is my regular order

I understand this place is not for everybody, but it is for me and my family. It was love at first sip, horchata, and bite, carne asada tacos. Two out of my three favorites, it’s way across town and I was here twice in one day. The first trip was recon, and when I brought it back home, my mom and son ate my combo plate for me. I was allowed a bite at first to taste how good it was, eventually I was allowed to have a taco, lol. Now sour cream, guacamole, and yellow cheese is not required on everything, but it is on quite a few items. Since the cream and guac are not for, on the side it goes, to me that hides the flavor. Without all of the bells and whistles, they have it. When we go back, trying a whole new batch of something else then too. Did I mention the horchata, cheers! Lol

This place is average at best. I’m only giving this place an «A-OK» 3 stars because it’s the only place I know about around Killeen that has Carne Asada Fries and California Style Burritos. The flavors and taste are just okay at best. There isn’t really any spice or zing that brings out the flavors of their food. It’s literally just seasoned meat, store bought sour cream, and Guacamole. The food might be average but the workers there are really nice. You can tell that they are genuine people and they love serving their cultural food to the Central Texans. I had a conversation and they told me they’re actually from California… so there food is the legit Cali style stuff. Other things to know: they play the Spanish speaking channels and their seats are uncomfortable. they also have a free salsa/pico de gallo bar, which is cool.

I was so looking forward to my visit at this location and suppose my expectations were set too high because this property was a major disappointment to me. There are some menu items that I would like to try like the lengua and the wet burrito red chili enchiladas but for this visit we had the much raved over supper burrito and steak fries. The supper burrito is suppose to be a meal in a tortilla with refried beans, rice and chopped meat but tasted to me like a Taco Bell Burrito Supreme since it had lots of rice and beans and hardly any meat. I also tried the steak fries as a side but realized when it arrived to my table that it was suppose to be another meal. Steak fries to me would mean the large cut fries that you would normally see next to a steak at this place it means steak with fries! And I use the word steak loosely since the meat used on the fries is not quality at all. Really, this place is more of a fast food Mexican place. It may pride itself on not being Tex-Mex but there is a lot of Tex-Mex around these parts that offer much better fare than this place. My husband and I can usually find a very good meal for under $ 20. My ticket today was close to $ 35. Personally, this place offers lots of rice, refried beans and fries at outrages prices! In addition, I would not want to go back for their«steak» it’s so chopped up it’s hard to tell exactly what it is and watch out for the extra bone and gristle in it.

I was really looking forward to this place. The menu looked promising. After biting into my super burrito, I was disgusted by how salty the entire thing was! The carne asada was chopped finely and over seasoned with the whole container of SALT! What a waste of $ 7!

I come here for the supper burrito. I’ve been eating here since it was in Harker Heights. I think the supper burrito is the best tasting burrito in town. The house pico de gallo is delicious. The lemonade is very tasty. The cooks leave a lot of cartilage in the burrito. You can easily break a tooth blissfully munching on the burrito. I’m glad I don’t take a date here. Having to spit food out is awkward. For seven bucks, they need to cut that stuff out. It’s good to cook with but not to leave in. Especially a burrito; where you’re taking it on faith as to what’s inside the vessel. Despite it’s draw back, I keep coming back. It turns a 4 star burrito into a 3 though.

YES. Yes. Those caps were necessary. Now let me start by saying that I am from San Diego(Chula Vista to be exact) so I grew up SPOILED with amazing taco shops EVERYWHERE. I’d like to think I know what a REAL authentic taco shop food tastes like. Since I have moved from San Diego to Texas I have been let down again and again by the so called Mexican food that is offered to me. TEXMEXISNOTREALMEXICANFOOD. It’s this fake weird covered in way too much cheese something my Grandma from Luxembourg would make me if she didn’t know what real Mexican food tasted like. I’m sorry Texas, I really am. This is just my opinion and how I feel about you. Now I guess I should review this place. UHMIT’S AMAZING. Really. Lucky for me my guy went to lunch here earlier today(he is super picky and will only eat quesadillas plain with only chicken) and told me about this place. He know how much I miss my Mexican cuisine so he suggested we stop by for dinner to grab some food to go. I ordered myself a quesadilla, a carne asada burrito and a large horchata(duh you have to get horchata!!!) I also got some salsa from the salsa bar as I am huge fan of salsa and spicy foods. The green is good, nice flavor, nothing too intense but good. I did not try both red salsas, I asked which one was spicier and went with that one. Pretty good flavor, better than other places I have had but nothing too amazing. Good enough though. Quesadilla is yummy. Can’t really screw that up but the tortillas don’t taste like something you get from a clear Mission tortilla bag at HEB. Now for my burrito. It comes with pico de gallo, guacamole and the most favorful and tender carne asada I’ve had the pleasure of eating in awhile. My only complain would be not enough guacamole and too much pico de gallo. Next time I will ask for no pico and extra guacamole. Regardless, I wasn’t even disappointed because of that! Just a thought. It was so good. I can’t wait to come back. I instantly had good feelings about this place once I read on their website that they had California burritos(which is freakin’ unheard of anywhere not in San Diego!!) and carne asada fries except I believe they are referred to as steak fries. Cannot wait to come back and try more items at this place. The inside was clean and the guy who helped us was very nice. I think we spent 16 bucks on the burrito, quesadilla, a glass coke bottle, and a large horchata. Not bad at all and pretty on point with prices. I will gladly come back to this place and hope that everyone stops by as well! You don’t want to miss a meal from here, promise.

This was the second restaurant I visited in Killeen, and it really impressed me! It’s not Tex-Mex, it’s authentic! I had the taquitos and they were amazing. I’d love to go back to try other things. The wet burrito was just alright, but this place is so cheap it’s hard not to go back and try more.

No reviews?! Really!!! This place is amazing. All you have to do is drive by during Lunch and the line is to the door. It’s a little hidden but if you’re on post and near the airfield gate all you need to do is turn left at the lights and it’s an immediate right thereafter. When they say California Style burritos, they mean it and if you don’t like it you DON’T know good Mexican food. I’m sorry but Tex-Mex is not Mexican, it’s Taco Bell! It’s family owned, the owners are nice, their english is a little choppy but rest assure that the food is authentic. I personally love their Taquitos Plate and Horchata. Definitely worth the drive.
