Best Tacos + Salsa in Killeen. 7 tacos for $ 2 with purchase of a drink. They are packed every lunch service for a reason. If you were ever stationed at Fort Bliss and told Chicos tacos were the best you were lied to. When you PCS to Fort Hood and hear Mission Taco is the best it’s the truth. If you see a bad review stop reading you don’t need that taco hating negativity in your life. They are better than Rosas, any of the 50 Jalisco’s here and Taco Bell.

Me and my husband have been coming here for years! Love it. We both always get 7 tacos a piece and 2 32 Oz sweet teas and only pay a little over $ 9 all together. They have so many different hot sauces to choose from and we love to try new things. The owner is very kind and service is always super fast. We will continue to come here often! Love the house hot sauce.

I went there for the first time a few days ago. I went of of reviews I had read online. The taco (hamburger) meat was disgusting!!! I spit the taco out and didn’t eat any more of the tacos. The taquitos tasted like the ones you buy in the freezer section and don’t come with lettuce, cheese and Guacamole. They are just plain. So I also went because it said best hot sauce in town… That was also a disappointment when I was told I couldn’t have any that it was for dine in customers only. I will not be going back to this restaurant again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place is the worst, they don’t give you any meat so you’re only eating taco shells, cheese and lettuce. I will never go in this place again. A rip off. Zero stars

Local legend! To be honest some food items are better than others but overall good quality. Very popular with the local soldiers and can get a bit crowded during lunch but the additional dining room helps There are hot sauces of all kinds to use and/​or purchase. Nice staff. Family owned and operated for around twenty years or so

The service was extremely fast. Less than a couple of minutes I had my taco basket in a bag and ready to go. The taste of a tacos was average at best. They were very Bland and really didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth. The good thing about this place is the huge variety of hot sauce on the counter which is great to drown out the taste of their mediocre tacos. This place is extremely affordable. 6 bucks will get you 5 tacos with rice and beans if you want to eat it. It’s a toss-​up for me. There are even cheaper on Tuesdays so if you want to try it but you aren’t sure if you’re going to like it go on that day because of the money you lose won’t be as much.
Would I come back here? No. I’m willing to pay a little bit more for tasty food. I won’t go anywhere just for their hot sauce.

Great for taco Tuesday. My wife and daughter love there soft tacos. And I enjoy there hot sauce collection.

The tacos are OK for something quick and very cheap but the customer service wasn’t. After getting my food I asked what their hottest sauce was. The reply was, «Like how?» I was a little confused on how to be more direct but I asked what was the spiciest. The guy pointed out one that would «kill me.» After I grabbed it and prepared to use some I was stopped and told I couldn’t use it because my order was to go. Seems stupid that I cant use a few drops of sauce because I’m not eating in. I think next time I want cheap tacos I’ll just go to taco bell

This place is great if you’re looking for something quick and cheap. The tacos are good but not very elaborate. You can get seven for only a few bucks. They have a lot of sauces to top them with but be careful, some are crazy hot. There are other items like quesadillas and enchiladas and they have great sweet tea.

Best tacos around. I love the sweet tea. They have an numerous amount of sauces from the mild lovers to the death eater sauces that burn your soul. I always get the seven tacos and sweet tea deluxe and I love it. I would highly recommend this place to just about anyone. Not saying it’s authentic but it’s incredibly delicious.

Good food. Cheap. Custer service isn’t all that but they are ok. Always messes with my stomach so I don’t like going as much. Would recommend for quick lunch.

Mission taco fuck yea cheap good and fast I can’t even lie about this one some times it does flip ur stomach inside out but every thing I have try here is 100 I love the pepper poppers the sweet tea is even good and I hate tea

Went in with high hopes, saw the sign 7 tacos for 5 dollars. Pretty good deal if you are looking for a cheap meal. The shells are too hard and tacos are not at all what was expected. The service was okay. They did seem a bit confused when people order food. There was no napkins to be found. Not mexican food at all you are better off going to Taco Bell to get more authentic food.

Whoa, 7 tacos for 2 $? Can’t beat the price, for sure. You can choose crunchy or soft. Go easy on the sauces — couple of drops per taco are enough to make your mouth burn. My husband almost died while eating, because he used hot sauce like ketchup lol. Sweet tea is great, too.

7 tacos for 2.08 was da bomb. Lol and the sweet tea hit the spot. With a large selection of hot sauce. Pretty good. My wife got a cheese enchilada plate. Kinda plain to me. But edible. Total was 15 bux.

Hands down the best taco joint this side of the border. Huge selection of hot sauces and 7 tacos for 2 bucks! I don’t know of any other place you can go to get quality tacos for 2 bucks. Can’t beat it.

It’s by far not the greatest but the environment and what you pay for is. I got 7 tacos for $ 2?! I’ll take that any day. The food is acceptable with the hot sauce they give you and the service is outstanding seeing as they serve over 100 people a day for lunch. The beef is good. The chicken is amazing. Love the quesadillas too. They have every type of hot sauce at your will. Some you can even pay for, but they also have the free selection. It’s a great lunch spot. Not very fine dining or up scale or even mid scale, but its great food fast that you can expect to be consistent everytime. I eat here every Tuesday or Thursday (Taco Tuesday or make up Taco Tuesday.)

By far the best Mexican food for your money outside of Mexico, full stop. I have been eating here for years and I absolutely love it. If I could give just one Unilocal review in my life a sixth star, this would be the one.
This eatery excels at one thing: making hungry customers happy. How? By exceeding the standard for a fast food restaurant in Central Texas. For years they have been maintaining rock bottom prices, using only home-​cooked recipes made only from scratch from delicious ingredients, and providing fast service with a smile.
And now it’s paid off, because Mission Taco recently leased additional space next door, knocked out a doorway between them, and has doubled in size. Look for a second serving line, possibly opening within a year.
Try Mission Taco and you too will be a customer for life.

My personal opinion: the tacos are delicious! The best part is 8 tacos for 2 dollars.
The meat is good and the homemade sauce is delicious! In order to get the 8 tacos for 2 dollars you will have purchase a large drink for 2 dollars. Their sweet tea is great as well!
