Pass on this Sears store. I bought a fridge from them in 2013, and they delivered it damaged. I also think the delivery people clipped the left rear view mirror on my vehicle, as they were either approaching or driving away, but couldn’t prove that, as by the time I discovered it, both their van and the mirror were gone. Never was able to get any satisfaction from supervisors or anyone else regarding this. I bought the item for a house I owned that I intended to sell in a year, so I didn’t make a huge issue of it at the time. Should have avoided Sears from then on out. But no. I decided to purchase a washer and dryer in Nov. of 2015 from them, as I was changing residences. Changed my mind and wanted to return the washer once it was delivered, so had them come back and requested them to credit my acct. Two and a half months later, I realized I had received no bills from them so I checked into it. They claim they’ve sent out 2 so far, but I haven’t received any in the mail. I moved in Dec. but Sears was aware of that, and anyway there is a change of address in effect — and in fact one piece of mail from Sears did get to me, this way. They have charged me at least one late fee of $ 27, which I protested and which I think will be removed. However, I spent more than an hour there this afternoon with LeAnn and Jose(the person who sold me the merchandise) trying to find out why they didn’t credit me the whole price of the washer. After telling them I wanted to either pay half or all of the bill, but I wasn’t going to unless they cleared this up, they told me they would call me «tomorrow» about it. I am waiting to settle up, if they would get the amount owed straightened out. In short, no one there seems to know what they are doing, it’s like a chicken with its head cut off situation. Finally I paid $ 100 on the bill, after being told I couldn’t use a debit card, only cash or check. Who doesn’t take debit cards today? That’s basically cash! I wrote out a check, which they«processed,» and handed back to me. Time wasted as well as a check. I hope I get a promised call back from LeAnn tomorrow, but I won’t hold my breath. No wonder Sears is a dying merchant in this country — customer service is lousy! They just don’t seem to care what people think of them, they just go through the motions. Heard back from Sears: I was charged a restocking fee of $ 75 for returning the washer and«not buying another,» contrary to what salesperson Jose told me. I had specifically asked him about that at the time and he told me there was no fee as long as I returned it within their time frame — which I did. So they lie to their customers. I had a similar experience with Home Depot, and they make good on their word and honor what they tell customers. In the future, I will patronize them instead of Sears for appliances and I urge others to do the same.

Every time I go in here everyone is friendly and willing to help. The service can be slow at times and when you need a manager for your purchase they seem stretched out making the service a bit slower but I go there for all my tools and it’s never a bad experience.

Small Sears! This Sears does have a nice selection of electronics, house appliances and tools. I bought my washer, dryer, treadmill and lawn mower from this location. I made the decision to buy these high priced items from here since they have an awesome extended warranty program. I would highly recommend purchasing an extended warranty from Sears when you buy high priced items. It is worth every penny. I had my one year check up for my washer and dryer and they made sure it was in tip top shape. When my dryer’s heat wasn’t as hot as they expected it to be, they sucked up the lint from the lint area that was trapped in my dryer.

We went with a friend yesterday to help him pick of a treadmill. He paid for it and then we were told to drive around to the«Pick up Area». We drove over there, my husband went inside and entered his information on their computer to let him know that he was there to make a pick up(there’s no one inside for you to talk to), then he returned to his car because the sign outside said«Wait with your vehicle or we will tow it». 15 minutes later, we’re still waiting. There were only three people making pick ups. My husband finally went back inside to find out what the deal was and got MAJOR attitude and rudeness from the woman working there. According to her, you only stay with your car if you are going to call the number on the sign and not come in. If you come in, then you have to stay inside and wait. Ok… My husband told here there was nothing indicating that he should wait inside(who is going to buy a treadmill and then leave without getting it?). Her reply was that he «should have known». When he said, «Well maybe you should put up a sign indicating that», she rolled her eyes and sarcastically said, «Yeah, we’ll do that». This pretty much pushed him over the limit since he’d already been waiting way too long for them to figure out that the only people on the computer screen were right outside the door waiting for a dang treadmill. So he called her on her attitude and told her she was being patronizing and it was rude. She told him she was calling security. Seems like a reasonable response, right? We ended up talking to the manager who was very apologetic and offered a $ 20 gift card for the inconvenience, which was a nice gesture. But I still have to give them one star because I would bet that gift card that that woman is still working there tomorrow. In this economy, when everyone is looking for work, there is no excuse to keep rude, unprofessional employees when there are 100 other people that would take their job and do it more professionally. I also am keeping it one star because their system of picking up your stuff is ridiculous and NOT user friendly. No one in this department was friendly or helpful. When they brought the treadmill out, they literally set it on the sidewalk 10 feet from the truck, then took the hand truck and walked off. They made zero attempt to get it close to the vehicle. Just plain rudeness. Save your money and go into Sam’s or some other place to purchase your large items. You’ll most likely get better quality and you can skip the attitude.
