Starbucks

Being avid travelers, my son & I love to make a stop at Starbucks whenever a need to quench our thirst arise. Our experience at this location is by far most disappointing as not only was the service slow, the drink full of ice was given to us by someone who I believe is the manager (she was in white shirt while others wore black with green apron).

Visiting the drive through today and picked up a grande tazo tea «Joy» seasonal flavor. The drive through line was quite lengthy but it did not linger and moved in a decent amount of time. My friend frequents this place, me not so much a Starbucks fanatic, and told me about a homeless man who usually positions himself in the nearby parking lot adjacent to the Starbucks and he likes hot coco. Anyway, I decided to purchase one for him. We made the circle around the building and called him to the car, told him it was hot coco and «happy holidays» he was very appreciative, asked us if we were single and told us we were beautiful. He had such a kindness in his voice and a pleasant smile. It felt bittersweet giving him cup of coco and knowing he would still be standing there in the cold. Wish I knew the information for the homeless shelter that will be opening in Killeen I would have passed on the information to him. This review seems to not be much about Starbucks at all, not the intent but a small good deed can make someone’s day.

I go through the drive thru pretty much once a day. I have two toddlers & I would rather not go inside. My coffee is usually spot on, depends who’s making it. Not as consistent but still delicious.
drive thru is usually really fast. Today is my first time sitting in park in the drive thru after ordering. This is why I have the ability to sit here, check in and write this review. Lol.

Way over priced coffee that doesn’t taste that good and sometimes the staff appears rude plus takes forever to get your order

Everything is GREAT this location. Staff are so kind and coffee served fast.
But… I wish they dont start cleaning too early. I usually go there around 830pm to 930pm and chill… but they always start cleaning around 830 or 9pm already. Sweeping hard, mopping, spraying on the floor so… sometimes I feel like i bother them with sitting there, not going home… it looks like they want the customers go back home so that they can close as soon as possible…
Well, except for this… everything is great…

I love this starbucks. The atmosphere is great and the staff is always really nice, energetic and helpful.

Is there any place in this dump of a town with good service? 15 minutes for the wrong drink! Slowest Starbucks ever!

Of the 4 Starbucks along 190 in Killeen/​Harker Heights, this one is definitely the worst. We went in to relax, chat, and have a cup of coffee and even though we asked for mugs because we were staying in, one drink came in a to go cup and they forgot mine completely. No pleasant greeting, no music playing in the background, not even a smile on a single worker’s face. I saw at least two other customers have to ask for corrections/​fixes to their orders as well. It might as well just be a fast food style coffee drive-​thru.

This is a nice place to study, chill with friends, or just getting a venti to go. Always a nice crowd, friendly service, and a reliable wi-​fi. The location is situated in the middle of most establishments which make it an ideal stop.
In addition, a renovation was just completed and it looks great. I do miss my study table spot and the comfy couch. But, the new setting maximizes the space. And now I have a new spot that overlooks the busy Texas highways and it’s a stool seating, just what I prefere.

I like this location. Even if the drive thru is full I still don’t wait long. And my coffee always comes out right. It does stay busy but staff is always friendly to me.

There’s not much that you can say about Starbucks but the baristas are always happy and helpful! I prefer going to this location as opposed to the other around here!

Horrible customer service. Especially the girl working the drive thru on Saturday June 14, 2014 at around 1:30pm (I’d call her out by name, but didn’t catch it) and the one making the drinks. I went through the drive thru and ordered a Light Mocha and got a White Mocha instead. I went inside to get it swapped out for the correct order. No big deal because I can see how she could have misunderstood me. But when I asked her to correct the order, the barista got a nasty attitude and said I got what I ordered. Uh. No. She then proceeded to tell me that it was «Called a Skinny mocha… for your information» and then gave me a hot chocolate instead. No coffee in it. My boyfriend went in afterwards and ordered a Light Mocha… same wording… and got what he ordered with no bitchy back talk.
So basically she screwed up my order a second time… on purpose and out of spite. Literally made me a hot chocolate while complaining about how I ordered the item wrong. Okay. Not coming back here again.
Teach your employers to leave the attitude at home.

Great Starbucks. Friendly staff however the place gets busy and the staff gets stressed and the whole place gets TRASHED at lunch. There’s no place to sit but there’s free wifi.

We always go through the drive thru and its always really fast! They have just the average Starbucks service and taste, but they’ve never made a mistake for my drinks so I would say this is a good place. The location isn’t totally ideal, but it’s still really easy to access.

I really enjoy this Starbucks everyone that works there is awesome. I’m really picky about the preparation of my drink and make like three changes and they always make it correct. The only negative is that the drive thru lines are super long in the morning

So frustrated… I keep coming here because its close to home and work and has a drive thru. But I think I am going to have to drive out of my way bc the staff always seems to act like they are inconvenienced. The worst is every time I want to try something they have advertised they claim to be out and won’t be getting any more promo products (I.e. cremebrulee, spinach wrap, ect.)

As much as I’ve experienced better, I have to say this place is learning to try harder! I hope I can return and upgrade this review in my near future.

Every available table was dirty. Napkins on the floor. Condiment counter covered in coffee and sugar. The employee recited their green tea as being «caffeine free».
This location just solidifies all my reasons for not being a fan of SB in the first place-​over-​priced drinks and cheap atmosphere.

I agree, it’s hard to rate a starbucks. Yet I like this location for its nice environment. It’s always clean, the usual starbucks, friendly staffs. I do see a long starbucks drive-​thru all the time, so I figure it may in fact be faster if you go in.
Just like every other place, customers come in waves. If you got here during the peak wave, no luck. I normally come here to go online and enjoy a relaxing afternoon to do nothing here. There really isn’t anything to do in Ft Hood or Killeen. So relaxing seems to be the only «activity» unless you got family and friends around.
There are 4 power outlets next to chairs for customers: 1 by napkin counter, 2 on the right side of wall behind the chairs (as you walk in), 1 behid the sofa in the left corner next to the entrance door.
By sitting inside all the time and see how the staffs work, I have to say that they do try very hard to make drinks for us as quick as possible.
