First the good — bigger apartments w/nice layouts, plenty of closet space, tennis court that has a surface you can actually play on, super helpful office staff, great utility rates, plenty of parking. Now the bad — a little pricy considering the apartments are older and in need of updates. Tenants that don’t clean up after their pets(eww…gross!) and think the tennis court is a dog park, street noise, neighbors not terribly friendly but I’ve come to expect that in Killeen. Overall, better than most in Killeen not as good as a few.

This place is awful. Starting with the location, to the cheaply structured building and dont even get me started with the customer service. My husband is in the military and we were not familiar with the area so from afar the apartment looked decent. Well it turns out the facility is located right next to a train station that passes thru rather often. And during the tour we took at the beginning nobody bothered to point it out. For a new mom it is the worst my baby woke up everytime that damn train passed by. The walls are so thin that a hole can be easily made through it, i know because i accidently bumped into the wall and that hole was not cheap on the bill at the end of checking out. Also, the heater kept breaking down, it was one cold winter. Im from California so i was not used to it. It was a nightmare leaving this spot they charge for every little detail. Its so maddening. They charged a $ 100 fee for detail cleaning even after my husband told them he payed someone already to clean the place up, also he left the place much cleaner than when we first moved in(i skyped him to make sure). the property owner is the ruddest person I have ever met in Texas. He argued with my husband until the end about charging my husband a $ 250 fee for giving out his gym code to a lady claiming to be his wife, while I was in California all along.(I went back bcuz he was being deployed) oh we also got charged for theyre cheap curtains that broke. So in the end we ended up with a $ 480 bill. He will definetly hear from our lawyers and please people dont even bother coming here. It does look inticing at the beginning but when you live here for about a month you will regret it. I promise. I read some reviews before sending my husband over but i thought how bad could it be… P.s we dont have a pet. But every month we would get a newsletter remembering renters to pick up after they’re pets and if not they would go as far as poop testing??? And be fined. Up to $ 250… this place is outragoues. maybe the property owner reads this and maybe he checks himself. Its called customer service guy.
