Dinner consisted of beef lo main yum, white rice and chicken fingers. Chicken was tough and hard weird consistency. Service was good.

Three out of six of us ordered pad Thai. We all agreed that it was the most bland flavorless pad Thai we have ever eaten. They completely forgot to include the peanut sauce. The rest of our food was ok.

If you there for hibachi only — OK place to go. Rolls are overpriced, small and not tasty.

This is one of our favorite restaurants at Killington. It is consistently great. The food is awesome. We often have the hibachi dinner, but the sushi is first rate and the Chinese food is excellent as well. Service is very good and it’s a great spot for families.

Over priced for bland rolls and sketchy egg drop soup. Went there for lunch and the bartender wasn’t very welcoming or even pleasant to speak to. She acted as if we were such an inconvenience to her. Food was okay. Service sucked. Environment… Eh. Eat somewhere else.

Great place to eat if you are craving asian food and staying around the Killington ski area. We went for dinner, on a weekday, around 7pm and were seated immediately. Our waitress, Colleen, was incredibly friendly and helpful! She gave us great service and recommendations, not only on food but with places to visit in and around town. Ambiance was nice and fairly quiet, perfect for us. The food was very good. For apps we ordered their famous General Tso’s chicken wings… sooooo good! Definitely want to seek these out when I am back in NYC. For main entrees we had a couple of sushi rolls and the house special fried rice. Everything was delicious and very generous portions. Oddly enough, this sushi place also has a fantastic selection of local craft beers not what I would expect at a typical sushi/chinese restaurant so you really can’t go wrong here.

We waited for 50 for our hibachi cook to even come out and get started. The performance was very short and he acted like he didn’t want to be there. The food wasn’t even good! The place was dirty and not organized. I would not recommend this place.

Hibachi is joyful, like most Japanese hibachi restaurant. Chef plays fun game with guests. Good salmon, filet and scallops. I’m a big fan of the hibachi scallops.

Don’t go there if you are hungry! It takes like forever to serve! Our group waited for 50 minutes(and is still waiting) for our food. Ruined the dinner since everyone is too hungry to talk…

In terms of food quality, This place was more like a 3-star level. My dragon roll was small yet pricey and had nothing special. My friends were also not impressed by their pad Thai and fried rice/noodles. However one thing that would encourage me to raise it to 4 was the service we received. Instead of keeping silent, our waitress told us up front that we got too much food and might reconsider, very helpful and very much appreciated.

Excellent selection of beers on tap. You can get better sushi at the Hannaford’s in Rutland — much better sushi. Not worth the money

I came to Sushi Yoshi with a HUGE(no exaggeration here… it was a party of 80+!) group during a weekend ski trip to Mt. Killington. After an all day of skiing, everyone was quite starved and couldn’t wait to get some food in our stomach. We were seated around a large hibachi grill in a group of about 20 or so. The hibachi dinner includes a choice of two among salmon, steak, shrimp, and chicken, and a choice between noodles and rice. The dinner also comes with miso soup and salad with carrot dressing. The service was pretty efficient and fast. After eating our salad and souop, we were greeted by a hibachi chef, who essentially performed a cooking/fire show in front of us. He puts all the ingredients on the grill(vegetables + tofu first for the vegetarians), and voila! I saw him put a huge block of butter when cooking the noodle… there goes my heart health! I had the salmon + chicken with noodles. To put it frankly, the food tasted disgusting. The salmon was undercooked, while the chicken tasted like rubber. The noodles also tasted super bland despite all the butter. I tried some fried rice, which was much tastier. I had pretty low expectation for the food though, so I wasn’t disappointed too much. After all, you come to a hibachi restaurant like Sushi Yoshi for the experience, not for the food.

I really do love this place, and come here a lot, so it pains me to give them one star. However, after this most recent dining experience I’m so sick I can’t so anything else. Gluten free diners beware — they have GF for gluten free options listed on the menu, but they don’t know how to safely prepare gluten free food. The chefs are not held accountable, it’s up to the waitress to tell them what to leave out of the food. When we were there this past Friday we gave strict instructions for what could not go in(tobiko, soy sauce, the fake crab), but they they«accidentally» added crunch to my roll. It wasn’t supposed to have the crunchy bits, but they chef didn’t know the menu well enough so he just made it up. When I told the waitress they comped that roll, but I was already sick. Foods not bad, but beware and be careful.

I have chosen to go one star not for the food but rather a policy. They have 17 beer taps and are marketing themselves as a «craft beer garden» and proudly say no crap on tap! There is a nice selection of local and varietal beers as there should be. One purpose of having a «craft beer garden» is to allow people to try different beers and expand their tastes. This is why bars like this will typically give a sample of a beer before you try. Well folks guess what… not this bar! So do you want to spend $ 6 or more on a beer you may not like??? I don’t think so. Now the reason I was told they don’t do it is that people would come in sample four 4oz samples, have free wings and leave. Well really, let’s get smart here… You don’t have give 4oz samples, 1oz should do and you can always limit it to 2 samples! You aren’t doing the small breweries you are carrying any favors or in trying to expand people’s beer tastes as a «craft beer garden»!!!

Love this place. Discovered it when the lookout was too packed. Was quiet, service was super friendly. Atmosphere is classy but casual. Sushi rolls are creative and full of flavor. Looking forward to coming back here. They have a full bar, tables and a sushi bar. The service was really fast. Sushi tasted fresh and flavorful. A pretty big selection to pick from.

Love coming here for happy hour with all my friends. We love coming to the bar and being greeted by Emma and Will who are usually behind the bar. We come around 3 pm for free wings and we order food at the bar along with drinks. The scorpion bowls are really good and a cool experience to have and share with friends. The egg rolls are really good here and sushi is great! Can’t wait to come back next weekend!

I came here with a birthday party of 6 for hibachi. The overall theme of the night was that we were rushed through the entire experience(minus waiting to be seated). As soon as we sat down, they started taking drink orders. Fine… except if I say I need another minute, I mean at least one minute and not 15 seconds. Then, we were asked what we’d like to order immediately after by another server. I get that it’s hibachi and orders need to be placed so that everything can get to the chef for the presentation, but I didn’t even have my drink yet. Totally felt overwhelmed. The hibachi show was the shortest I’d seen. He skipped over people for the famous«sake shooter» move, which was pretty lame. And the food was typical hibachi style. You go for the experience, not the cuisine. so I’m not going to hold that against them. I checked my watch when they gave us the bill. 30 minutes. That’s how fast they were accelerating through the whole dining experience for a meal that is NOT at fast food prices. Unfortunately, Killington does not have a landmark Japanese restaurant worth going to. Don’t try to make this one work, not worth the $$. Maybe better for apres ski drinks, Asian style?

It’s been a few years since my last Killington visit, but I’ve always enjoyed the complimentary General Tso’s-flavored wings offered here from 3−6pm — a perfect way to cap off the ski day! Although other places used to also provide free wings, it turns out that Sushi Yoshi is the only remaining spot on the access road that continues to offer them! This past weekend, my friend and I found ourselves here after some aprés ski bar hopping along the access road(Casey’s Caboose, Charity’s, Mogul’s) and, after some sampling, we both agreed that Sushi Yoshi has got the best wings of them all, free or otherwise. Will(the guy with a pen always in his ear) was our server/bartender and was quick with both our drink orders and with dishing out those free wings for us to munch on. Of course, Sushi Yoshi’s got a lot more to offer than just the free wings. They have solid menu of Chinese & Japanese selections, a hibachi room with a handful of tables and separate menu, a small sushi bar in the back, and some billiards and video games as well. I have yet to eat anything besides the wings, but sooner or later, I’ll have to come back and update this review!
