Aurora Shoe Company

Kind of hidden on the side of the road and seems that it’s more of their factory than a storefront (since much more of their business is done online this makes sense). However, upon entering (after my initial fear that I was going to be murdered because the outside looks like it is straight from a slasher flick), I was greeted by Dave, a really cool, helpful employee. I asked him a couple of quick questions about the leather quality and he definitely knew his stuff. He grabbed me a bunch of pairs of shoes to try on and better gauge my foot sizing. He’s sort of like a modern foot wizard. We chatted, asked him his honest opinion on what colors/​shades best complimented me, he indulged my questions and was astoundingly helpful and honest. Ended up buying a pair of the English style shoes in the charcoal/​navy hue, as well as a pair of chukkas. Then we chatted about my college and my major (as I go to school right next to the shoe co.).
Really good experience, excellent shoes, and wonderful quality.
HIGHLY recommend coming by if you live nearby or ordering a pair, they do NOT disappoint.
