My husband and I were antique shopping and stopped into Bo’s café for lunch. We were absolutely FAMISHED! We were greeted immediately by a very friendly server, who told us to sit anywhere we like, make ourselves comfortable at any table on «this» side of the dining room. The friendly smile and not overly bouncy or fake greeting was pleasantly refreshing. We tend to like LOTS to look at and Bo’s does not disappoint, I saw gift ideas for about 4 different people before our order was even taken. The service was not slow, it was paced just perfectly for us, the food(Philly cheese steaks) was delicious and very well cooked, and our server gave us great tips for antiques! We will definitely be going back, and my husband who travels past there to go to DC will be back I am sure. Very much a «thumbs up» from both of us!

So bad. Creepy number of «collectibles» for sale. Too many tables jammed in there and not enough customers. Our server was nice enough but the food was slow and pasty. We had biscuits and gravy and open faced turkey and pancake kids meal. All of it was kind of pasty and cooked strangely. Avoid. Like a bizarre cracker barrel but not half as good. And not particularly cheap either. Save yourself the Willies and avoid this place. Unless you are in the mood for a laugh or to be kind of freaked out or appreciate strange places ironically.

I passed Bo’s on the way to the Southwest side of Maryland, wishing I had time to stop for breakfast. On my way back I stopped in for lunch. I tried the fish sandwich, which was pretty average. The service was excellent. The next time I’m in the area I’m going for breakfast and hope to add a few stars to my review.

Welcome to grandma’s Ok, …walk in and… wait for it… am I in a restaurant or somebodys horder grandma’s joint? Picture …ummm…yea, tables and chairs ala restaurant style, but… what the hell are all these nick nacks all over the place? Curio cabinets line the walls full of trinkity breakable shit that your 2 year old dirty face nephew would LOVE to smash on the floor. I’ve heard of «fusion» restaurants but… a collectibles/lunch style café is either sheer brilliance(if the food sucks, the sales of Precious Moments figurines and prints of General Lee at Gettysburg are sure to pay the rent) or maybe someones granny died(rest her soul) and this is a temporary estate sale. I picked a table by the window since the curio cabinet section was too much for my a.d.d. wife to handle. This was a bad idea since my wife kept bringing up wanting another baby(unknowingly influenced by the bronzed stork statue that over looked our table … $ 175.00 price tag, I checked). Seriously… I know I tend to embelish a little bit… ok… a lot, but dang yo, as we walked from the truck to the front door of the restaurant, I stopped in my tracks(upon seeing the merchandise piled up in the windows) «Hey hun, whoa… I don’t think they serve food here». Anyway… we ordered brunch and it was pretty tasty. SLOW service but then again… this is King George County… cow poop drys faster in this town than restaurant service. Staff was pleasant and the place was clean(no funk smell like grannys house). Bottom Line: If this don’t do it for ya, theres a BBQ place just down the street with the pigs butt facing you when you pull up in front of the building.

My wife and stopped in here for breakfast on a Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised. There are not a lot of options for breakfast on a Sunday in this area either. I ordered the breakfast wrap with sausage patties and potatoes on the side and it was delicious. The potatoes had cheese and overall a good flavor. Just be warned, this place is a little hit or miss; my wife got the French toast and she did not enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the breakfast wrap.

This place is probably about what you’d expect from the quirky decorations. Really nice staff, very local feel, but not on it’s way to a 5-star restaurant. We went for breakfast Sunday morning and there were a handful of other customers. We were told to sit where we wanted — customer service was fast and pleasant. I ordered coffee and French toast with sausage links. The coffee was pretty good. The food was okay — the French toast was a bit soggy on the inside and the sausage links were pretty greasy. Granted, it’s sausage so you expect them to be greasy, but it seemed a bit more than normal. Wish I could give them an extra star as the staff was very nice and quick, but the food unfortunately doesn’t amount to it. Perhaps other options/mealtimes are better.

Excellent coffee. Great staff. The service was a little slow though. The pancakes were made from a mix and were a little tough but the eggs and home fries were cooked to perfection. I thought it was a little weird that the café had items for sale in it; figurines, statuettes, and the like. I would definitely eat here again.
