Weathertight Exteriors

I met with Mr. Ed Shope on 11-​1-​2015. Within 1 week, we had an agreement but it took until 11-​16-​2015 to get a contract. I signed the and sent in $ 4,750 deposit. One week later some material was delivered and approximately 20% of the work was completed that week. Then week after week he and his crew would show up on the odd days and work a few hours at a time. When I asked him about the completion, he would use excuses like his truck broke down. Although he represented at first Weathertight Exteriors was a sizable company. Then the next group of excuses was an employee and grandmother was sick. Finally with storms imminent and the roof exposed I terminated the contract. Mr Shope was told to leave the material I had purchased. This is my vacation home, when I came down to inspect lot of the material was missing. I also saw where him and his men entered my house without permission and stayed overnight. When I contracted with another company, they told me a lot of the work had to be redone.
Weathertight exteriors left my house exposed, could NOT perform quality work and removed material that had been paid for. Besides all that, they entered my house with permission stayed overnight. They are the most dishonest, unprofessional company with no personal boundaries.
