1st Class Cleaners

They do a pretty good job doing my shirts and suits. Haven’t had any customer service issues at all. Been going here for a few months. New owners came in recently and they have been more than friendly. Will continue to drop off my clothes.

This is located quite conveniently in a mall in the King of Prussia area, about 10 — 12 minutes from my house in Plymouth Meeting. I dropped off my Boscovs suit for a dry cleaning on a Wednesday and then picked it up the following week. Items dropped off on a Wednesday get a 20% discount so my suit was dry cleaned for approx. $ 9 (including tax). The place does not accept credit cards for less than $ 10 so that is something to be aware of.
Re: the quality of the cleaning itself, when I picked up the suit it definitely looked cleaner relative to when I had dropped it off. It also had been ironed, though I would add that my father (who’s an engineer btw) would have done a better job than what these guys did. I also noticed that one of the buttons on my pants was loose but I can’t quite remember if that had been the case before I dropped it off or if that occurred during the process of dry cleaning. In any case, had the shop taken care of that, I would have given them a 5-​star.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience for me. Reasonably conveniently located, not too expensive, and a decent product/​service.

This place has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life. At first there were no issues and I gave them plenty of business… however, then they ruined my shirt and had me come back to the store at least 6 times to reach a resolution (since the manager has no authority to provide reimbursement). They somehow came up with a 70% of total cost policy as well as keeping the ruined shirt which doesn’t make any sense to me… if you won’t reimburse the full cost of the shirt then you shouldn’t keep the merchandise! Finally, I was given a check for the wrong amount of what I agreed to and then was told to contact the owner YET AGAIN, only to be screamed at because he couldn’t be bothered with me since he runs many stores (SERIOUSLY?!). I highly recommend NEVER using this cleaners EVER!!!

This place used to be excellent – I used them for all my dry cleaning and alterations and they used to do an excellent job. However, I will not be going there anymore. They lost a pair of pants that I had dropped off to be hemmed; they were finally able to locate the pants but did not discount the alterations despite my inconvenience. I decided to give them a second chance and dropped off a pair of jeans to be altered (hemmed and taken in at the waist). The hem line is uneven, they did not keep the original hem, and to take in the waist they just stitched a simple dart on one side, making the waistline uneven! They charged me $ 30 for alterations and ruined my $ 100 jeans!
