Fairfield Inn

This place was a place to stay. It wasn’t upscale or new. My room looked pretty old. It was musty smelling. The elevator could really only fit two People in it and it felt like it was going to break at any second. The toiletries are meh. Small common area.
But it does offer free breakfast and a bunch of snacks like yogurt pastries and chewy bars. We checked in about 8 pm in the evening and there were still a bunch of cookies waiting for us. Complimentary water upon request.
The hotel also offers free acess to the Lifetime Fitness gym! Which was my absolute favorite part bc it’s important to me that I gym when I travel. The gym was old and not super clean but hey they had a ton of equipment and classes!

It was not a bad place. It has a sink inside the bathroom. It was clean and had a decent flat screen TV (no usb ports for charging electronic devices though).
There was a mini fridge in the dresser but it had way too many shelves.
The internet is free for surfing the web but if you want to watch video it costs $ 4.95 per day.
The bed was nice and comfortable. The pillows were also good.
The were barely any facial tissues left and we had to ask for more from the front desk.
The elevator was very tiny and could fit the trolley and barley two people.
The biggest problem was the thermostat would not stay on the setting once it was set. We got extra blankets but still had to get up and «fix» the temperature during the night. I guess we should of asked if there was a way to permanently set it.
There were many places to charge electronic devices (on the lamps) but only if you have a tiny brand new plug with a usb hole to plug in your cord. There was one unused electrical outlet and it didn’t work so we asked the front desk for a power strip (they did get us one). The alarm clock had a cord to connect your smart phone to the speaker.
The best part was the continental breakfast. It was the best CONTINENTAL breakfast I have ever had (not the best breakfast though). It had:
–Scrambled eggs (not microwaved)
–Sausage
–Doughnuts
–Several types of Ceral
–Fresh Fruit (including pineapple)
–Choice of bread for toast
–Bagels
–Juice Bar (orange, apple, lemonade)
— and more!

Definitely not a place that I will ever stay again… not clean, staff was not friendly, zero amenities… the only plus was the proximity to the mall/​etc.

Limited services… no shuttle or transportation. I had to walk over to Crowne Plaza to get a shuttle to Scanticon Convention Center. No room service, no late check-​out. Good for short quick stays, but definitely not enjoyable.

Nice place, staff was helpful. Cleanest rooms of my entire trip.
