Nordstrom’s in King of Prussia is one of the most gorgeous department stores around, with a huge selection of [semi-​] affordable designer brands. However, customer service is a hit or a miss. BIG time. And it’s highly dependent on the department you visit and the luck you have when you go. I have found this to be the case mainly with the cosmetics department. Some of the staff is excellent; others are curt, oblivious and seem to have no enthusiasm for the art of make-​up.
Tonight, I went in to exchange a foundation that I was unhappy with. I spoke to about 6 or 7 different beauty advisors and found almost every single one to be distant and unmotivated. One advisor at Clinique quickly gave up after one failed attempt to match my skin to one of their foundations. Another advisor could barely crack a smile [and sadly in her case, not from Botox — she seemed like she was just about ready to call it quits and leave the store] and when I turned back to ask her a question, she was gravitating away and robotically trudging off like she was drifting to another planet, or maybe another dimension entirely. In all honesty, I’ve never seen someone working in Nordstrom’s who was so damn out of it. Seriously? You guys can do better than that. The cosmetics department deserves a high quality team, even on a Thursday night. Finding the correct blush or foundation was a guessing game for every other advisor!
The women’s lingerie department has always had fantastic customer service. I highly recommend it. There are usually some great sales going on for women’s clothing as well, so go check it out.

I returned a pair of shoes worn once but damaged and they took them back right away. Exceptional customer service and great quality items :)

Paid $ 740 for a tailor made wedding suit and the sales person promised to deliver it in less than 5 days. That’s it… End of story. My money is gone but I still don’t have a suit… It’s been close to a month since the purchase and I don’t have anything to wear for the wedding. The customer service here is terrible.
The suit was shipped to the wrong address and after a few phone calls and follow ups I was told that they will recall the package and ship it to the right address. Another week goes by and guess what… My suit gets shipped to the wrong address AGAIN…
Sales person asks me to check with postal service and they ask me to check with the sender for updates… A classic game of ping ping.
All I’ve heard by far are false promises and I’ve lost my Cool. Wedding is nearing and I don’t have my suit. All this is nothing but a waste of my money, time and patience. If I can give zero stars for the customer service I’d be glad to do so. Very unpleasant experience.
Hey nordstrom… Give me my suit or my money back.
PS: I’m never buying anything from here in the future.

Biggest group of pretentious people work here. I am shopping for my wedding and not one person has asked if I need help and everyone is nasty and miserable. I was looking at jewelry and a woman behind the counter pulled the rings away from me. Seriously? We’re in comfortable workout clothing and they are very obviously profiling us as not having money or being too young. Rudest group of workers. I guess I won’t be buying my wedding shoes or jewelry from here after all.

The product selection at this Nordstrom is stellar. Especially for brands that other divisions only carry a small allotment of. The expanded The Rail section is great.
However, I don’t find the staff particularly nice or helpful, which is odd considering that is what Nordstrom is known for. For example, I can often shop around for about 30min before anyone approaches me. The shoe department is the greatest offender. Almost feels like they think I can’t afford the merchandise.

Alex and Samantha are great! Super helpful and sweet. My dress was amazing! They also hooked me up with bridesmaid dresses and gifts so it made the process even easier.

Yes, they are known for their terrific customer service, but Nordstrom’s KOP continues to impress. Their Men’s department is extremely knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. To top it off, they have great products, at fair prices!

I went to the wedding suite with my friend to look for wedding dresses. It was a wonderful experience! Michelle made is so personal and my friend ended up buying a dress there, which was gorgeous! She looked amazing on her wedding day! Every visit they were so attentive to detail. We continue to talk about how great Michelle and others were there! She thought of everything! Impeccable service!

Nordstrom always has great salespeople in the shoe department. Kiersten helped my mom and I today and she was very easy going and friendly. They ship shoes free upon purchase to anywhere in PA too!

Oh NO Nordstroms: Wedding Suite. Never again.
I’m a member of a bridal party for a wedding this upcoming September. We’re all very excited, so when the bride showed us the collection of Donna Morgan bridesmaid dresses and we saw our local Nordstrom carried them – we all thought «perfect!» And decided to get an early start on planning.
Again, Nordstroms: Wedding Suite. Never again.
It started when we all arrived a few minutes early to our appointment – the woman at the front desk was very polite and friendly, but, our stylist ended up being 35 minutes late to our appointment. She came off extremely cold when she mumbled somewhat of an apology. Then instead of introducing herself, or asking who we were, she just snapped, «Well, what are you here FOR?» Luckily, we knew what collection of dresses and color we wanted, because we received no guidance – not on fit, not on style, not on accessories: NOTHING. All five of us were given one dressing room to cramp into, and we were not helped into the sample dresses no one bothered to clip us, and every time we wanted help, we had to ask for it. I’ve never seen so much eye rolling from an adult that works off of commission. She seemed so burdened by our visit, you would have thought we personally drug her out of bed and didn’t have an appointment. We also had to be asked to be measured and I was advised two sizes smaller than what I normally wear; I ended up ordering my regular size because I had checked on Donna Morgan’s website previously.
I love my dress, but I couldn’t fathom the experience (especially because I’m not even a bride – this would have been terrible if it was supposed to be my special day!!)
The only reason they are getting two stars is because their return policy is super lenient and I liked that.

One sales person, named Nico Echevarria was rather insulting when he did not want to shake my hand when I first met as a customer to be shown clothing. He also kept texting on his phone while talking to me. That is pretty rude.
Now, I just go there to try on pants, and then buy them online, just so I don’t have to give any of those guys any commission.

It was a terrible experience for me! I got my 200 bucks cosmetics stolen in the Pink store. It was probably stolen by the salespeople in the store but the manager of PINK refused to help me! What is worse, the nordstrom police said there was no need to file a worthless piece of paper and told me to watch my stuff! What the F**K!!! They were so impolite and irresponsible! Nordstrom is not safe at all! I feel the hatred everywhere!!!

What amazing service and quality. its hard to compete with this store. Came to buy something for my spouse. Staff was very knowledgeable and helpful

Came to the watch counter and was greeted by Jade. Had purchased a Burberry watch for my husband and just brought it in for adjustments.
It did take a little time for the adjustment as we waited I got to try two Burberry women’s’ watch. I am excited because I will come back to purchase the rose gold two tone Burberry watch for myself.
So excited to come back and make my purchase. The store was packed and always beautiful as expected. Love love Nordstrom’s.

Nordstroms is a yearly experience for me. Karen in the plus department was my personal shopping assistant most of the hour I was there and she was very patient.
I am tall and plus size so this is the place for me for jeans that fit.
The only suggestion I have is to increase the floor size of the Women’s Department.
Yea, I am 55 but I’d like to be shopping in more than like 100 sq feet of selection and I’d like younger hipper styles like other department stores have.
The petite department was at least 6 times larger in dimension and selection.
Please pay attention to this Boomer demographic.
You can’t beat Norsdtroms for personalized service. TOP Notch! I am a fan.

They lose 1 star for their Wedding Suite. Earlier this year when I was looking for accessories to go with my bridal gown, I walked in here a few times. Not once was I greeted with even the slightest hi and the ladies didn’t make me feel welcome at all! When I asked if they sold fascinators, she simply said no. These were all times when it was fairly quiet in the suite. Reading some of the Wedding Suite reviews of others, I find it extremely unprofessional of Nordstrom that it doesn’t take action upon their Wedding Suite staff. A bridal gown is the most important dress a woman will wear in her life — the fitting, purchasing and interacting with a sales consultant counts for at least half of the experience.
That said, shopping at other departments can be pleasant. The men’s dept is very helpful — my husband purchased his wedding suit here and they were extremely helpful with alterations, fitting, etc. The shoe dept is awesome as well, where sales associates have helped me on several occasions. Great customer service here!

If you want great service without snobbery Nordstrom is the place to go! I’ve gone here for everything from lingerie to shoes and everything in between. Love their beauty department where they often have Nordstrom exclusives. Lots of different product lines to choose from and they happily throw in lots of samples with your purchase. Got my Sperry’s here on sale 40% off and the saleswoman who helped me didn’t treat me any less than someone buying Jimmy Choo. PJ Salvage jammies on the 3^rd floor! Ladies and gents at the E-​bar are lots of fun and the coffee is delicious. Good food at the café as well. Five stars all around!

Making a bridal appointment to look at bridesmaid dresses was easy peasy, with less than 7 days notice I was able to name my time and date for a private appointment. I sent our stylist my pinterest page full of Amsale, Jenny Yoo, and Monique Lhullier dresses. On the phone I was asked for my bridesmaids’ shoe & dress sizes. I was also asked to describe what colors we were interested in, and what styles we definitely did not want to see.
When we showed up for our appointment the bridal suite dressing room was full, so we were ushered to the regular fitting rooms. No biggie, but it was awkward and cramped. Turns out Nordstrom didn’t have any Amsale dresses we requested, nor did they have the sizes we needed. When my size 6 wearing friend asked for shoes she was given a pair of black pumps several sizes too big (maybe an 8 or 9). It was also difficult to view the colorways each dress came in — the sales associate ended up bringing us her ipad to show us the options, but this sort of defeated the purpose of being in-​store to see the dresses.
After trying about three dresses, it was very clear only one of them might work. Unfortunately the Jenny Yoo dress we liked takes up to 4 months to order, and our orders would be final sale. Also a bummer? They didn’t have any dresses or fabric swatches in the color we were interested in. With so little flexibility we were left with no choice but to leave empty handed.
Honestly, the sales associate tried to be helpful, but my friends and I left wondering why we made the appointment in advance when they didn’t have the styles, sizes, or colors we were interested in.

My mother gave me a gift card to Nordstrom’s for Christmas and I held on to it until this past weekend. I wanted to use it for a fancy affair and my friend’s upcoming nuptials was the perfect reason to go.
I found myself in the Women’s section since I find it hard to find dresses that fit my ladies. Within a few moments, Lisa came right up to me and asked about my event and what I was looking for. She pointed me to a bunch of party dresses that would be appropriate. She was so helpful!
When I decided on a dress, I was a bit on the fence since it is a bit more casual than what I was looking for (read: no sparkle). She gave me a couple of tips on how to dress it up or down which helped seal the deal.
It was just a great experience!

I came here back in April. Nordstrom is usually out of my price range, but I was really desperate for a good bra fitting with someone who knew what they were doing. Macy’s and Victoria’s Secret associates were not cutting it, and usually didn’t even have my size.
I took the long bus ride in from Philly, and went straight to Nordstrom. I was dreading the experience, because bra shopping is usually painful and fruitless for me. I went to the lingerie department and asked for a fitting. A young lady named Giselle helped me, and I still remember her name seven months later because she was so amazing! She asked me what type of bra I was looking for (everyday) and measured me. She was so nice, professional, and knowledgeable that I didn’t feel judged about my old, misfitting bra, or feel uncomfortable about the intimate measuring process.
If I remember correctly, she measured me as a 38DD, and then she went and looked for bras while I stayed in the dressing room. Already, this was way easier than shopping usually is. After I tried a few on, she realized I was actually a 36DDD. At Victoria’s Secret or Macy’s they usually just stick with what the measuring tape tells them, but Giselle realized there was more to the story. She kept bringing me more bras, and using my feedback on why they were wrong to pick new ones. Eventually we settled on the Natori Element, which fit correctly, gave me coverage, was supportive, and basically just perfect.
I can’t stress enough how amazing of an experience this was for me. Today I am on a Unilocal kick, writing a ton of reviews, but honestly I usually don’t bother to give feedback to stores or write reviews or anything. However I was so impressed by Giselle that I emailed the store and told them how great she was. (And that they should give her a raise! haha) The store manager wrote me back the next day and said he would pass my message along to Giselle.
