Huge disappointment. The calamari and flatbread were both inedible. The calamari was rubbery and the flatbread appeared to be something a child threw together in the back. The drinks were worse, if you can even imagine. Bartender was not knowledgeable enough to make a margarita.

Hotel restaurant and bar at the Doubletree by Hilton in KOP. Fairly standard menu with a decent selection of draft beers, scotch and spirits. Menu was also diverse. I didn’t eat but my colleagues did and they enjoyed their meal. The burger looked really good but was a little messy to eat(as with most gourmet burgers these days).

Well, I will just add on to the bad reviews. Message to self: don’t pick convenience of hotel restaurants, u know the story… sat at bar, bartender didn’t acknowledge me for a while, then told me to hang on, finally I get his attention so I can ask for a wine list/menu…10 min down. Order a glass of red wine, I get it pretty quickly(yoohoo!) but it tastes horrendous. note to self: do not pick adventurous Wines, just go with basics. Anyway I order some food and sip on my horrible wine while waiting, thinking maybe this wine just needs food pairing to develop. well waiting 20 min and still no salad. That with a bad Wine gets me in a pretty bad mood… so finally get my pretty basic salad and ask about the wine. He then tells me it was an old bottle. and I get a new glass. OMG just paid $ 12 for a 2 week old glass of wine??? Meantime, other people sitting next to me get their flatbread, They ordered theirs about 15 min later than me, so really? So finally get mine too, 45 min in, is ok but everything ruined for the night… never ever back here, pls don’t spend your money here. And I won’t even talk about the waiter talking«have we decided?» «how are we doing?» «Still working?» Need i say more.

my burger was good. 12 dollars a little steep for the basic burger. cooked right. fries were crunchy. service friendly. for a hotel bar it was exactly average.

Good bar service, super pricey beer! The mac and cheese was okay; I got it for free based on my scratch ticket received at check-in. On the menu it was 9 dollars — for about a half of a cup! I’d venture to other restaurants in the area rather than eat here based on price alone.

This was supposed to be a good Valentines Day dinner, but had a lot to be desired. When we got to the Dolce Hotel that the restaurant is located in, the first issue was the Three 01 were the reservations were was closed, so we went to the restaurant next to it, T Burke’s Lounge, and asked the bartender about the other restaurant. She told us that it was only open for breakfast and lunch, not dinner, and that the reservations were good at T Burke’s. Fine. We seated ourselves and waited about 10 minutes for the waitress to show up. We ordered our drinks and they came within 3 or 4 minutes. Good. We ordered our appetizers, then waited about 30 minutes for them to show up. WTF! We ordered the Mushroom and Spinach Quesadilla, which were good, but small. We then ordered our entrées and waited almost an hour. The food was very good at least. I had the Orecchiette pasta, which was spicy, but not so much that it covered up the taste of the pasta. My other half order the NY strip, which was cooked perfectly also. GREAT! After the main course, we ordered the Chocolate Mousse Peanut Butter Cake for dessert. That took about 30 minutes to arrive. Again, it was very flavorful and again, not overpowering. Great! Then we waited for the check… and waited… and waited. after being in the restaurant for a total of 2 ½ hours, which wasn’t crowded at all, I went to the bartender to see about the check. She got it for us we paid and left. It’s a good thing the food and company was good otherwise, I would have been pissed about waiting so long for everything.

NEVERRETURNING. OpenTable usually gives me some great ideas for new places to try. Having seen that I’ve never been to Three01, I booked a reservation on a Monday night. Big mistake. Three01 is located inside of Dolce Hotel(empty and smelly much?). Three01 was not open for some odd reason so the reservation was valid at T. Burke’s. Okay whatever. I’m pretty adventurous. So I stand waiting to be seated by a hostess and nobody approaches even though the bartender and waitresses see me. I wait a few minutes as that would be rude to barge in and still… nobody. Awkward. So I finally walk in and the waitresses put on a happy face…“sit down wherever you’d like”. Thanks… Menus come 5 minutes later. Drinks come 10 minutes later. Why is the service so slow? And by drinks I meant just an iced water. Bread comes another 15 minutes later and it is gross and stale. Pass. Entrée comes perhaps another 30 minutes later(and mind you that it was completely empty) and the tuna was not cooked medium rare. The waitress had told me it was normally served raw but I did not trust raw fish from this sketchy place and she had also recommended medium rare. The fish was cooked all the way through. Absolutely no flavor. Disgusting. I also noticed the two waitresses servicing the restaurant constantly arguing and also customers getting up from their table to ask the waitresses about their food and drinks… embarrassing T. Burke? Seriously OpenTable. Why did you bring me here? Sort of mad at you right now. NEVERRETURNING! One last note. The bathroom inside of the restaurant is freezing and the walk to the bathroom wreaked of cigarettes. Smoke somewhere away from the dining room will ya?

A few weeks ago, my BF and I went out to dinner for our anniversary. We had planned to have dinner at Three01, the other restaurant at the Dolce Hotel, but they had been reserved by a private group for a holiday party, so we were seated in T Burke’s instead.(They a right next door to each other in the hotel and share a kitchen, and the staff had told us that the food was the same.) Based on the meal we had there, I’m not sure we’ll go back and try Three01… if they share a kitchen, we can’t imagine that the food would be much better. First, let me say that I totally get this is a hotel lounge. We didn’t go in expecting 5-star cuisine. But it could be so, so much more than it is. First, the décor — depressing. It just looks like one of those sterile, dull hotel lounges where weary business travelers have a beer by themselves at the bar in the middle of a long week on the road. Given that the Dolce hotel is in one of the largest retail areas of the country, and is probably a big draw, with a little TLC this place could be a hot place to hang out. I’m guessing they’re losing a lot of their hotel guests’ business to other bars and restaurants in the area, when they see the lounge and decide to go elsewhere… it doesn’t have to be that way. The food had good and bad moments. My NY strip steak was perfectly cooked, but the truffle mac and cheese I was so excited to try was awful. It honestly tasted like someone had cooked up a box of Velveeta mac and cheese and stirred in a little bit of truffle oil. My BF had, IIRC, a pork chop… everything on his plate tasted like the chef had accidentally spilled a shaker of salt into his food. I love my food a bit salty, and even I was overwhelmed when I tried a taste. The best part of our meal was our server, I wish I could remember her name. She was super nice and professional. In a nutshell — if you’re staying at the Dolce and need a meal in the hotel and don’t want to drive elsewhere, T Burke’s will meet your needs. If you don’t mind leaving the hotel, or if you’re a local looking for a place to eat, there are too many good restaurants in the area to make this your choice. And again, given that Three01(supposed to be a bit upscale) shares a kitchen and staff, I can’t imagine it would be much better.
