Second meal in ten days. Very accommodating staff. Had mussels both times and they are excellent. No grit, tender and plentiful for $ 11. Nice garlic, herb and butter sauce. Had Prime rib special on Saturday. Well prepared to medium rare temperature. Nice 12 oz. quality cut off beef. Mushroom Swiss burger special was excellent. Properly prepared and tasty. We split and it was served in two portions beautifully with more than enough fries. Plan to come back for happy hour next week.

New menu, still a great spot… We sat where we wanted to.(unlike other reviewers who can’t assert themselves)… We had a great dinner once again!!!

Had 6 beers, did my grocery shopping. Winning all around. Seriously though– food is good, seems like they just take it out of the grocery store and cook it. Nice beer selection. Very cool to be able to get a beer at the grocery store! That said it loses a star because at the end of the day I’m still drinking beer in a grocery store.

Service Price(half price apps between certain times) con: Food needs seasoning Came here for St. Patricks Day with my husband. We ordered the mac & cheese(we got there before 6:30 so took advantage of ½ apps), bangers and mash and short rib(offered as on the the St. Patricks Day specials). We shared all and it was plentiful. Bangers & Mash– okay. i probably wouldn’t order it again though. Mac & Cheese– okay– ordered this app as a side dish. it needed a bit of salt and cheesiness Short Rib– this was tasty– still needed some salt but overall good dish. Price for all with a beer and a wine was $ 35. I would come back again for a drink and try other dishes if I am at wegmans to grocery shop.

The Pub had a number of St. Patrick’s Day Specials this week, so my wife and I stopped in to try it out and were very pleased with the tasty well portioned entrees. Both of which were reasonably priced. I had the Guinness Braised Beef Short Rib which was fork tender covered with that tasty Guinness gravy which I washed down with what else a tall Guinness. The potato pancakes were super crisp as promised and the roasted sprouts were perfect. My wife enjoyed the tender Corned Beef with all the fixings. Keep up the good work.

Once again a wonderful night out! We were lucky enough to enjoy a rare treat of exceptional food and entertainment. The Mardi Gras theme featured the Aligator Zydeco band for our dining pleasure while we feasted on Buffalo shrimp appetizers. Dinner specials were a fantastic muffuletta sandwich and outstanding oyster Po Boys. We were very pleased with the wine selections and even a choice of hard ciders. Our server, Jeremy could not have been any better. Jeremy was the ideal mix of professionalism and hospitality. His service was efficient and unobtrusive.

What a great place to eat. Food well prepared and reasonably priced. Dinner for two with two drinks, one dessert and appetizer and two entries was $ 51 before tip. Waiter Jeremy C took drink order and delivered martini and scotch exactly as requested. Entrees came with sauce on the side as requested. This was second visit and will be back for a third. Thanks Jeremy.

Really not as good as the reviews here are making it out to be. The beer selection is nice(especially the way they have it categorized), but the food left a lot to be desired. Hummus came out with really greasy pitas, buffalo shrimp was just dripping in buffalo sauce, and the prime rib«cheesesteak» special the bar tender was raving about was just tasteless. Good place to grab a drink or two if you’re going grocery shopping, but honestly I think the food bar food is better than what you’ll find in here.

Finally got to try this out after hearing about it for the past year or so and I was amazed at how cool the concept was. The fries were really good, the craft beer selection was decent and the liquid caramel martini was amazing! Service rocked and the scary part is you might actually be able to pull off a casual date here in a super market lol. I’m a fan I’ll be back it was def worth checking it out.

We arrived tired and hungry to find a lively atmosphere, live music, local brew and delicious food. We had the fresh(never frozen) fish and chips and the scallops. Both were excellent. I wasn’t expecting to find such a great restaurant in what seems to be a grocery store. Our server was excellent and said it was a pleasure to serve us! Nice people are everywhere around here!

Food is AMAZING. I had a chicken sandwich with this amazing parmesan aioli, avacado, bacon and oh my goodness. Such yummyness. The service was my great. The waiter was super short with us. Not extremely pleasant. So that made the experience less pleasant for me and my friend :/

If you love Wegman’s give The Pub a try. If you have never been to Wegman’s still try The Pub. It is not a large menu but it has not lacked consistency with me. I have had at least 10 different items and I have enjoyed them all. Plenty of food on the plate and reasonably priced. The Po Boy sandwich had way more lobster than expected! The service at this location and the other one I have been too was good. It may sound strange but this restaurant in a grocery store is one to try.

Wegmans oozes with cool concepts — so why wouldn’t they have a pub and restaurant within their grocery store? I met up with a friend after work for a drink and dinner. I was going to make reservations on OpenTable, but luckily we did not have to wait to be seated. Our server came to our table right away and she was pleasant throughout our meal. Dinner included: PEI mussels, tomato naan pizza, tuscan fries and lobster roll. The mussels were meaty and served with two lightly toasted baguette slices. The naan pizza wasn’t what I expected. I am used to fluffy naan and was disappointed that the pizza came out flat. The naan was soggy by the time I got to the fourth slice. In addition, I did expect more flavor and seasoning with the fries; I could have done without them. Unfortunately I did not taste the lobster roll, but it did look good! It was served on a New England-style roll, but it looked like Texas toast! A problem I had was the small table — it could not hold all of this food! I cannot wait for the warm weather to hang outside on their large patio!

Stopped in there for a late dinner. I read previous reviews and was looking forward to giving it shot. Surprised at the wide selection of their menu. All the food seemed fresh and what u expect from being connected to wegmans. The food taste was just ok nothing mind blowing. I was say above quality of chilis, Fridays or and Applebee’s. Would eat there again but wouldn’t really go out of my way.

Much to my chagrin, the menu has been revamped. Gone is my favorite veggie plate with polenta, now we have steak and pork chops… Funky looking corned beef and a vegetarian pot pie… The staff looks scared. They have all these weird rules about how to serve the customer. You can’t just grab a seat at the bar, you must sit where told… The lightness is gone.

I was shocked when I walked into this supermarket that they had a full restaurant with a bar. I love that they publicize the calorie stats on the menu. Zucchini fries are amazing. Stop by the market next door to make your own six pack!

In practice, a nice restaurant in a grocery store is just as confusing as it sounds. The ambiance is all sorts of mixed up, because the polished granite bar tops and otherwise nice décor contrast wildly with the cases of craft beers stacked up against the wrought-iron fencing dividing the restaurant from the rest of the grocery store. The staff are very nice, but a strange mix of not-quite-restaurant-waitstaff and not-quite-grocery-store-employees. Also, I don’t think the Friday night live acoustic music thing happened, unless it was just outside. But is the outside dining area part of the restaurant, or part of the rest of the store? Confusing. The food is also kind of confusing. We loved our appetizers. Zucchini fries were more fried batter than zucchini, but delicious nonetheless. The mozzarella bites were balls of panko-crusted fresh(!) mozzarella, deep fried to gooey perfection. The marinara sauce they came with was a bit bland, but I was willing to overlook that. The restaurant was off to a very good start, but then came the entrees. While satisfying and by no means bad(albeit a bit too salty), they had the definite taste and feel of catered food, or food from a nice buffet. You know, with a mass-produced, reheated quality to them. I ordered the salmon, which is exactly the kind of entrée/salad combo you would get at a wedding. At $ 11, it was fine. The entrees were not as exciting as the appetizers, however. And what’s more: who are they targeting? Maybe just people amused by the novelty of fine dining in a grocery store. This is certainly not a destination restaurant, but if you’re going to Wegman’s to grocery shop, why would you need to eat an entire fancy meal there when you can just grab some cheap and delicious-looking prepared food(of which there is plenty, directly adjacent to the restaurant)? So many questions.

A high-quality restaurant in a supermarket?!? Yup… Forget the old adage of never going to a grocery store hungry. But do so ONLY if hitting The Pub. Although the menu isn’t terribly diverse, The Pub at Wegman’s serves good food at reasonable prices. Additionally, they offer a full bar, which I assume makes shopping more interesting for those who imbibe and then go grocery shopping(not sure I’ve heard any advice about not drinking and grocery shopping, so go for it). I’ve had a number of items hear from their salad specials, veggie burger and chicken breast. All have been satisfying, albeit a bit over-salted for my taste. Thankfully, the service staff is spot-on with refilling the water glass(or beverage of your choice).

I’ve never been to a Wegman’s before, but I would up having dinner here a few days back when I was in King of Prussia. I have to say, it’s completely bizarre to eat/drink in a supermarket based bar, but the food was pretty damn good, and reasonably priced to boot. I got the pub steak sandwich which came onions, mushrooms, and cheddar cheese along wth a side of zucchini fries and horseradish sauce. Everything was fresh, delicious, and rather memorable for dinner in a supermarket. The other options looked great as well, but unfortunately I wont be able to sample them since there are no Wegman’s by me. The bill came to about $ 15. What an amazing deal for a very solid meal. For the area, you can do much worse for dinner.

Count yourself very lucky if you live near this KOP gem. You may not know it but in the entire eighty-store Wegmans chain, only three have pubs(KOP, Malvern, and Collegeville). The backstory is that dealing with a liquor license inside a grocery store has been an incredible political/bureaucratic challenge for the chain. It’s ironic that they succeeded in a state known for its conservative and convoluted liquor laws. There is a method to their madness. They have a nice variety of craft beers and of course they are all stacked up just outside for you to buy. Ditto with the food. The menu specifically mentions that you can purchase everything used including the sauces. So it’s a pub alright and it’s a neat place to have a bite and a beer. There is a sizable bar and an open kitchen. There are lots of tables of both the high and low styles. The chairs that go with the high tables are very comfortable. The atmosphere is a little odd. Let’s face it, you’re inside a supermarket! There are people walking by with carts and checkout lanes just a few feet away. I wouldn’t think of this as destination dining. It’s a place to grab a decent pub meal before you shop in the store proper. Speaking of meals, he lovely wife and I began with a chicken crisps appetizer($ 6.50). Instead of the usual basket they were nicely plated on a thin bed of marinara sauce. Very tasty. I tried a classic corned beef sandwich on light rye($ 8.50). The meat was warm and juicy and the sautéed vegetable side was not overcooked and nicely seasoned. The wife had the tilapia and pronounced it excellent. Of course I had a couple of craft beers. The beer prices seem to be a dollar or two lower than a typical KOP pub. I can deal with that! The store is a wonderful place to shop. To be able to also grab a decent meal and a craft beer is great marketing and it’s nicely executed. I’d stop in again in a heartbeat!
