Wegmans

They shorted us by $ 10 at the cash register; when we said something about it, we were treated like criminals. They had us stand by the service desk while the long line was checked out (instead of, oddly, just switching out the cash drawers), and then they took the cash drawer back and counted it. A woman name Laura finally came out and rudely gave us the $ 10, stating only that yes, the drawer was $ 10 over. No apology for the mistake (or 15 minutes we stood there waiting). Laura was extremely rude (and even hostile, oddly). We stopped in to buy a birthday cake and candles and we were really disappointed by how we were treated here. I would not go back here.

Very disappointed in Wegmans King of Prussia. I have been shopping there since it opened. Consistently they run out of the products I buy. I understand this may happen occasionally, however, almost every time I shop there they have at least one or two products out of stock. How hard is inventory control? If you run out of product consistently BUY MORE!!! If this doesn’t change in the next 30 days, I’m going back to Giant –Radnor.

Very large store with tons of food options — both for groceries and take out. The only drawback was that they didn’t have anywhere to eat inside the store.

Best supermarket in the country without a doubt.
A bit expensive but usually worth it

Wegmans does so much right, but the mis-​steps are infuriating.
Good luck visiting after about 5:00 PM (do not visit after 9:00 PM if buying produce); Wegmans seems to stop producing baked goods mid-​afternoon; the ones on display run out randomly and go stale as the evening progresses (rolls, bagels.) Hot food on the enormous steam table buffet looks picked-​over and unappealing by 6:30 PM. The produce department starts removing some items to walk-​in refrigerators in non-​public areas at about 9:00 PM, leaving bare counters where say, broccoli was. Evening shoppers are treated as second class citizens.
This store has a terrible problem with keeping stock on a few of the items I buy regularly. I have complained about two items roughly a dozen times with little success. Fortified skim milk (skim with added milk protein for improved taste) like Skim Plus; four out of five times I tried to purchase this, Wegmans would be out. After a long hiatus, Skim Plus has reappeared in the dairy case; fingers crossed. Last year, Wegmans house brand caffeine free diet soda constantly ran out. Recently stock levels on the soda have been good, but we’ll see how things go when warm weather returns. The folks at Wegmans don’t seem to understand; every time a product is out of stock, it’s a lost sale and a disappointed customer who has to do without, or go to another grocery store.
The butcher has a quite limited selection and isn’t really a full service butcher counter. Some items are prepackaged, apparently from a central commissary (ground lamb for example.) It’s unlikely that they’ll have a specialty cut if you’re looking for one.
And most frustrating to regular customers, someone at Wegmans has inexplicably decided that packaged goods should play a game of musical chairs. So over the last couple of months, snacks have moved halfway across the store, pickles have moved to the old snack aisle, etc., etc. Why?
Prices are competitive. The store brand products I’ve tried are high quality. Most of the employees have been quite pleasant and helpful (the pharmacy employees in particular.) This is still the best chain grocery store in the area, but a few small improvements would make it so much better!

I have fallen in love with Wegmans and it is likely that no other supermarket will ever measure up in my eyes again.
It has everything I need (besides some Asian grocery items)– great selection of groceries, hot food, deli, fish, meat, etc. I don’t even have to go to the Walmart nearby if I want to pick up toilet paper or travel items.

I am here on business and was looking for a grocery store to just pick up some snacks and drinks. But, Oooooooh my gawd! This place was amazing! Everything you can imagine. Went in for drinks ca, e out with dinner and lunch for tomorrow. Wish we had these in California

This review is for the food buffet. I started working down the street from this Wegmans two years ago and used to love to drop way too much money on their amazing Asian Buffet.
But alas l, today, I say goodbye for good. Everytime there’s a dish I like it gets phased out no more Pad Thai no more Panang Curry Chicken and increasingly I see less and less of the other curry chickens I enjoy. (I was so disappointed that there was no Pad Thai I wrote wegmans. They told me it would be back once shrimp prices dropped. That was about 18 months ago.)
I can no longer ignore the white rice and soy sauce being called Fried Rice. I can no longer get passed being charged for dumplings sauce (used to be free with the purchase of my $ 10 small lunch). I can no longer stand walking in the door to discover the only buffet food is overcooked cheap crap marked up beyond belief. So, 2 stars will not shop again.
****the sushi is still good and you can swap out celery for avocado. It’s the only reason the Wegmans gets 2 stars*****

Popped in here as a first timer when I went up to PA to visit fam. Upon walking in, my initial reaction after seeing all the fresh items available was O-​M-​G is this for real?! This grocery store is the shiznit!!! I appreciate an awesome grocery store when I see one. I loved the layout of the place. I couldn’t help but to Oooh and awww at basically everything I laid eyes on. Think, little kid in a candy shop=my first time in Wegmans. It def. blows HEB/​Central Market, well with that being said pretty much every other grocery store I’ve ever been to out of the water. That says a lot b/​c I LOVE HEB/​Central Market like no other! Wegmans has a ton of organic and amazing produce and products at a reasonable price, especially compared to Whole Foods and other high end grocery stores. I can’t stand Whole Foods, I feel nickled and dimed every time I’ve ever shopped there!
Don’t feel like cooking?! Go check out the pre-​made items or the café/​restaurant/​bar in there. So many options using the freshest ingredients possible at such a low price compared to other grocery stores. We walked by the sushi bar and I couldn’t believe how fresh the sashimi and sushi looked and even better how low the prices were. Honestly, I’d probably never cook if there was a Wegmans here. We got some items to go from the café and restaurant. Everything we ordered was fresh, delicious and there were plenty of healthy options to choose from for the health conscious.
If anyone from Wegmans upper management is happening to be reading my review please please please consider expanding your store out to the South! Texas would be happy to welcome Wegmans!!! Grocery shopping will never be the same again after you step foot into a Wegmans.

2 Divas is a BIG supporter of Wegmans and WISH they would come to south Florida!!! They beat our prices by far and have the best selection!!! I would even choose this over Whole Foods if I had a choice! How can you beat a grocery store that’s open 24hrs??? Well you can’t! For someone who works constantly and wants good food and needs to be mindful of food allergies this is the place! There is something for everyone! They even have a café which is a great option for dinner!

The people are so helpful and nice no matter when I have gone or what store I go to it’s the same great service and selection! A great kosher deli, the seafood selection is phenomenal, and all the hot and cold selections are amazing I really can’t say enough. Wegmans at the end of the day wants its consumers to have options, but not just any options the best and most diverse options. I live the Collegeville location merely for its layout however.
We come back to Florida and get very agitated with the fact that we are left with either whole foods and Publix as our choices. At Publix the food is not up to par, prices please give me a break its sad to see what they charge down here! I literally pay less for grapefruit I’m PA when we live no less than an hour from a grapefruit plant in FL! The pre-​made dishes are top notch and not sitting there for 3 – 4 days! I have a gluten allergy and I wish I could find the extensive selection like I do at Wegmans! Go grab a cup of good coffee or tea while you shop!!! It’s truly an experience when you go and that’s what they want…
One of my faves is the olive bar and cheese area (they have the best selection of Brie and fresh made toppings) they even have items ready to go for a cheese board if you need a last minute item before you head to a party. They think of everything for you. They have your normal run of the mill everyday items as well…
Regular, organic, gluten free you name it they got it!!!
Wegmans please please please come to Florida!

I’ve bit my tongue long enough. I want to love this place. It’s convenient to my route home and it has a large, diverse selection. But…
The last straw was tonight when I brought home the wegman’s pre made pulled pork and «homemade» meat loaf.
The pulled pork was extremely fatty. The meat loaf had either cartilage or bone in the meat as it was popping and crunching between my teeth.
It’s always something here. Out of a staple product, item I come in for is suspect (pro tip guys, when stocking the shelves try not to slice open the product when opening the shipping container), or the «fresh never frozen» chicken breasts arrived all the way home… you guessed it… frozen.
Come on Wegmans KOP. When you first opened up the experience was so great! Please get back to your roots and values. Get it together.
I want to be a fan.

I am biased as I grew up with Wegmans in my back yard. It has been 5 long years since I’ve been anywhere near one, so imagine my surprise and enthusiasm when the hotel we were staying at was near a Wegmans! I honestly believe that you haven’t lived until you’ve visited one of these.
I was literally skipping my way in… it was just like I remember it. I loved the fresh fruits and veggies, but I was there for the baked goods because it is like no other. I chose the chocolate cookies with the frosting inside. The bf chose a fruit tart from the bakery. I like the strawberry éclair and seeing one brought back such memories.
This one has a pub in it but I didn’t get a chance to check it out.
You must go!

I’ll oblige, although it’s a bit intrusive.
This is a modern large supermarket, nicer than the other Wegmans I have visited.
The produce department is first rate. Really enjoyed the mixed local tomato basket we bought.
The meat counter featured dry aged and wagyu beef, although I think the steaks could be more attractively presented. I went with the tenderloin, which presented thicker cuts. We also picked up a whole filet of a small wild salmon (think it was sockeye) at a great sale price. It was excellent.
I was also pleased with the whole wheat burger buns we bought to accompany their Greek turkey burger.
Store made pimento cheese did not seem to be the authentic variety from the Southland, but was tasty enough.
My only complaint is the limited selection of storage bags, couldn’t find the 2.5 gallon one with sliders.

One of my favorite grocery stores. This one is located within minutes of the king of prussia mall.
I like their selection of food and you can also get food for lunch/​dinner (made to order sandwiches, etc).
Everything is super clean and plenty of parking!

we picked up our daughter after she got a ride to the KOP exit of the turnpike returning from college on a weekend night. We were seated but I did not expect very much sitting in the middle of the market walled off by curtains. Don’t get me wrong, Wegmans is a nice market and it’s very clean.
Our food was terrific, fresh and good, delivered to the table in a timely manner. The drinks beer, wine and soda all satisfactory. The prices were alright. I was pretty pleased with taking a chance on eating in a supermarket because it turned out so well. A real break for the weary traveler in a area that has a lot of places to eat that aren’t very good.

I miss wegmans. I lived in AZ for 2 years and I’m back to the east coast. One of the first places I go to is wegmans. They have great food. I’m super impressed by how clean everything is. Also their layout is just amazing.
I ordered a sub from here for lunch and I saw they carry beer now! Super excited because I thought in PA only state owned places could carry alcohol. In AZ you could get alcohol in a gas station. It’s like they leveled up and evolved.

I’ve been going to this Wegmans for two years. Every time I go, the food is generally fresh and delicious. But this time I went, I promised myself I would never step foot in this joint ever again!
I went to the Market Café and picked up some food in a box. Everything looked very good. I paid and started eating. As I was picking at it, I found a black thing in it. Weirded out, I picked it up with my fork and moved it around, only to find that it way a dead fly, fried right into the food!
I stopped eating right away, picked up my box, and stormed over to Customer Service. I angrily explained the problem, and they said «Oops, sorry.» That was it! That was all they said when there was a freaking FLY in their food!
Never coming back here!

This is a great supermarket for the area, and offers everything that you expect from a Wegman’s. When you walk in, the fresh produce is directly in from of you. I find this to be a little expensive, but it always looks so great that I don’t mind. The rest of the aisles are stocked with typical grocery store items, although it is definitely hard to find some frozen products (possibly a good thing?) easily found at other supermarkets. The cleaning supply section has some great bulk options, and reminded me more of a Sam’s or a Costco than a normal supermarket (hooray!).
The extras: only Wegman’s has the extensive Market Café/​bottle shop combo that is so rare in PA. It warms my heart to see an area completely devoted to beer in a supermarket (however small), with demos too! Unfortunately, the buffet food seems lackluster compared with other Wegman’s and some of the food looked like it hadn’t been touched in a while.
This Wegman’s is also really easy to access from the highway, as the entrance is directly outside the parking lot. I make a trip out here whenever I am in the area to stock up on those Wegman’s favorites.

I often grab a little something from the breakfast bar or Asian bar. I come at odd hours, but things at these bars are always pretty fresh and clean. Once in a while I splurge on a bottle of fresh squeezed tangerine juice.
For a friend, my Dad, or for the road … there is a nice variety of fresh baked cookies of which I often grab a couple. Thin and a little crispy snickerdoodles are my favorite.
I did a separate review of The Pub recently if you want a sit down meal. Maybe the grocery store itself deserves a review, but, for now let me just say that they have a good variety of stuff like shaving supplies and cough drops — and their everyday prices for these sundries are very good. Lastly, they do sell Mexican Coke by the bottle and case.

Truly the best and most affordable grocery store I have ever been to ! We drive about 25 minutes to get here and it is well worth it ! There are plenty of other grocery stores in my neighborhood but they are overpriced and the quality and variety of food does not even remotely compare to Wegmans !
They have a huge hot food bar as well as pub on site serving drinks and food ! You can make a dinner date out of grocery shopping ! Their bakery items are also unbelievable ! Extremely fresh and some of the best I’ve ever had !
If you havnt been yet. You’ll be amazed ! Only issue. My GPS does not acknowledge the location :(There is a Walmart next door and I just plug that address in to get there
