So you want a little nostalgia? Then stop in and grab a cold apple cider served in a frozen mug, some fresh chicken and dumplings, and a classic candy bar or other confection that you probably can’t find anywhere else.(At least not in it’s classic packaging!) Tons to see, cool gameboards setup throughout, and a real fireplace roaring during the colder months. We live here and we love this consistant central spot. 5*

I was in the neighborhood and decided to try out some comfort food :) I ordered the beef campfire meal. Basically they cook pot roast or chicken roast on a slow cooker of some sort and then they serve it in a foul packet. It was good but a bit on the bland side., nothing that salt & pepper couldn’t fix. I did order a side of rice because I eat rice with everything. That’s where they lost a star :($ 2.69 for a bowl the size of where my 5lb shih tzu eats out of??? overall it was good just not enough food.(But then again, I eat more than the average bear) obviously this is not my wife writing this lol! Ami was very attentive and the place was very welcoming. Next time I’ll order a larger plate or 2: P

I am a fan of Cracker Barrel. It’s good food, friendly people, and always clean facilities. I enjoy eating at Cracker Barrels anytime I travel. Prices are good for the quality and quantity of food.

I had the honor to meet this American hero as you can see he served in three Wars, he told me he was in uniform for 50 years. And the food was good also

Love the gift shop and the lady’s were so sweet that was working the shop. Foods good just had to remind waitress of my hash brown order and a little young lady helped us to clean the table better. It’s so busy I think they are very focused on the service and lack on dusting and cleaning of tables. Over all nice people and just love the atmosphere.

First time in a cracker barrel after hearing so much about it, for what it is, it was a decent restaraunt. The staff was helpful and attentive and it was fun to peruse the country store. I had the eggs in a basket breakfast and that was tasty and filling. This was our first stop on a drive across country and it did feel good to have some down home country type cooking.

We had a great meal here tonight. Food was good and the service better. Our server was on point and got some extra loot for the wife in the gift shop. We need these in California!

Loved this Cracker Barrel! Quick seating for a party of 8, great waitress named Jessica. The food was excellent! I would have taken a pic but ate the food too quick!

We stopped by this Cracker Barrel while on a vacation road trip. Pretty much the same exact Cracker Barrel experience as every one we have been too. Very good quality control by the company. I recommend the pancakes, biscuits, sausage, fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, and the fried apples. Pretty much everything is good. Do not eat this type of food regularly or you will become obese.

Never been to a Cracker Barrel, so when we saw there was one in Kingman we had to try it. The service was a bit slow but polite and adequate. The vegetables were cooked within an inch of their lives, so that aspect was like eating at my mother-in-law’s house. On the other hand, the ribeye was perhaps one of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, which was a truly pleasant surprise. My wife liked her chicken-fried steak, too. The mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes, and not diluted much with other ingredients; tasty but solid. For some reason our server brought me two portions of Cole slaw, but once I tasted it I had no complaints. I didn’t try the corn bread, but my biscuits were superb. There was plenty of food, too. As a bonus, on the way our through the«country store» part, my wife found one of her favorite candies from her childhood for sale. After years of thinking it was no longer available, it was a touching reunion. As they say, a happy wife means a happy life, even if it involves a bit of serendipity.

The food was good and reasonably priced. The Service was so-so. For example, there were 3 of us. The server took our order, then eventually brought out two entrees, and said«is there anything else?» Uhhh, yeah, my daughter’s meal maybe? «Oh. I’ll check on that.» It was served within a few minutes, but come on. .. you’re the same one who took our order 10 minutes ago. I also was not overly impressed when paying my bill. In the middle of my transaction, the cashier’s friend walked up and engaged in a conversation with the cashier — at which point the cashier completely ignored me. Not a disaster by any means, but kind of bad manners. Overall, I’d go back, but with lower expectations.

Excellent waiter. I had the Haddock dinner. With mac n cheese, fries and house salad. Their honey mustard dressing is great and tangy. Cornbread muffins, smooth and have a cruchy consistency, ask for honey if you need a little sweetness. Portions are on the heavy side, save room for dessert. Peach cobbler with ice cream is flavorful. Love the store, with specialty candies.

Always look forward to a stop at Cracker Barrel on road trips. The food is good, good service, huge menu, breakfast all day. Hashbrown casserole is delish. More recently I’ve really come to appreciate what a good deal some of the items are in the Country Store. Very reasonably priced and a fun selection. Good quality. Always ever changing seasonal stuff. Look for the 99 cent Salt and Pepper Shakers.

I would like to give this Cracker Barrel a better rating. After all, I really like Cracker Barrel. But, the experience just wasn’t that great. To start with, when we approached the hostess stand, the hostess completely ignored my dining partner who was wanting to tell the hostess we had a party of 4. My dining partner then made a comment about being invisible. Seriously, she was standing in front of the hostess and the hostess wouldn’t even look at us. There was no one else there. I finally spoke up and told her there was a party of 4. While we were waiting to order, the server came up and asked if we were ready. I was on the phone, but easily ready. She then made a comment that she wouldn’t take our order because I was on the phone. What? My order could have been addressed by my 3 other dining partners or they also could have told the server that I wasn’t ready because I was on the phone… instead of her making the assumption. Food was good. The silverware and the plates were dirty. Every. Single. One.

After our recent visit to this particular Cracker Barrel, I think it’s safe to assume that this is no longer the place I always looked forward to going to when I was younger. I was traveling with a large group and we had a planned stop here en route to the Grand Canyon. I was so excited that we were making a stop at Cracker Barrel since there are none in Las Vegas. My excitement soon dwindled away with each mishap our table experienced. My expectations were not that high for Cracker Barrel… I recognize it for what it is… a chain restaurant. Some are bad, some are good, no big deal. We knew going in that this place was packed, so we expected to wait a bit. The wait wasn’t ridiculous, there were over 40 of us… nothing to complain about. I had fun looking through the general store during that time. We were seated and had to wait a bit for the server to arrive and take our order… still, not a huge deal. Once the server arrived — I have never experienced such careless service! I was very clear in what I wanted my house salad to consist of, yet my server seemed to not get it right. Further more, when I asked for the mistakes to be fixed, she proceeded to give me multiple excuses… I’m hungry, lady… I just want my food right, okay? When the main dishes arrived, 2 of the 4 orders we had were also wrong. Both incorrect entrees took an additional 10 – 20 minutes to be corrected. Not cool. We had to ask for our refills and there were a few times where our server walked past our table and blatantly ignored us. The only good thing about this stop was the lavender/vanilla soap that I scored for $ 2! If you have memories of Cracker Barrel being this awesome place from your childhood, do yourself a favor and skip this place. You’ll just end up with a crap memory instead. *2016 Unilocal Review Challenge: 8/100*

Okay, y’all don’t even understand how long I’ve been trying to get to a darn Cracker Barrel. I used to live only an hour away in Vegas(of course when I refused to even be a licensed driver), and now that I’m home in Cali, the drive is almost 5 hours. I can’t even just up and go if I felt like it anymore. ahh the damn struggle is real man. I get teased by all these Cracker Barrel commercials and they don’t even have one in California!!! Okay what is that even about?! Not cool CB corporate office, not cool. Anyhow, when we made our Labor Day plans, and decided on Laughlin, I of course started bouncing around screaming«I’m going to Cracker Barrel!» My dreams were momentarily shattered when I was informed that it was a 36 mile drive from Laughlin, NV to Kingman, AZ. Soo basically a quick 30 minute drive! Woohoo! Fast forward to our trip and finally the day we were going to Cracker Barrel! Super excited to finally get to go. The drive from Laughlin to Kingman is super boring, and not much to look at. But man, Cracker Barrel is the cutest! The restaurant is attached to their Old Country Store and outside of their store is a row of old fashioned rocking chairs. They’ll cost you around $ 200 for an adult chair and $ 120 for a child’s chair. I wanted to take them all home! The Old Country Store has so many things inside. Halloween décor, Christmas goodies everywhere. College football teams, apothecary items, real tree camo stuff. and adorable little wicker baskets to carry everything around in! On the wall nearest the hostess(as you do have to walk through the store to the restaurant), they have BBQ sauces, CB Maple Syrup(including a vegan option), mixes for their signature buttermilk pancakes. and another wall has old toys! Original slinky’s, whoopee cushions, the pegs board game, giant checkers. Ahh it was so awesome. Everything is decently priced in my opinion, as I bought tons of stuff and only spent like $ 60! I could’ve spent hours in there trying to buy everything I could carry, but alas our table was ready so I decide to do my shopping after eating. Once we were seated it only took 25 minutes for our food to come out which was awesome! Our server was super sweet, and I wished I remembered her name(sad face!). She was super attentive and made sure our drinks stayed filled and was even made sure we had to go boxes before we asked for them! Über sweet! She was tipped well, that’s for sure. The atmosphere was quaint, classic and homey! I ended up ordering the Momma’s Breakfast Plate which was 3 pancakes, eggs your way and either bacon or sausage for like $ 6. The pancakes were not only made the old fashioned way(with real honest buttermilk, I could taste the difference as I cook with it myself), but they were soft, fluffy and had the most perfect golden brown crust ever! The pancakes literally melted in my mouth! I’d never tasted such deliciousness! Maybe it’s because I was starving, but I doubt it haha they really were some of the best I’ve eaten. BF ordered the Wild Blueberry Pancakes which was equally amazing and also a little better. I know right, better than my heavenly pancakes? How about everything I said about the original pancakes held true with his, only OMG. it was better! The fresh blewbs in the batter. to DIE for! Plump, they didn’t get overcooked so they weren’t soft and mushy, and the flavor — oh, so soooo good! I tried a few bites of the blueberry cakes with the original maple syrup and with their blueberry syrup. Honestly, tasted better with the blueberry syrup! You’d think it would either be a) too much blewb or b) to sweet but hot skippy it was just right! Their sweet tea is made in house, daily and was the perfect quencher for the Arizona heat, and well, I just love sweet tea! Their sausage patties were probably the only thing I didn’t like and that’s because they were a little overcooked. Other than that, everything was perfect! At any point in which CB wants to open up in California, I will fully support that motion! I love Cracker Barrel and I’m already trying to figure out how I’m going to make a trip back out! Delicious, home style, southern hospitality and the worlds cutest old fashioned country store ever. Yeah, I love me some Cracker Barrel and I’m so damn happy it satisfied the yummy in my tummy that’s been craving this mouth-watering food for heavens knows how long! If there’s one near you, take advantage! Because I’m so jealous of you haha(^_~)

Damn you nostalgia. I clearly remember this place being different when I was kid. The food was better, the vibe was cozier, and I didn’t notice the religious stuff literally around every corner and coming from the speakers, but that’s not why this place is getting three stars, my overall experience was just meh. The food here is really geared towards to the older and the young, I mean single digit young. The flavor was lacking and no comfort element. I mean isn’t kind of sad that I received no «comfort food» vibe from a place that is basically founded on that very idea? I went with the classic, «Chicken Fried Steak» dinner meal and it had that frozen then reheated taste; Grandma Barrel would be displeased. The service here was very helpful, no complaints there, but it was almost spooky how helpful the servers really are. Sort of like the Stepford Wives if they were built by a midwestern god-fearing engineers. Sometimes I like sass and character when going out to eat. I did enjoy the gift shop, it’s filled with great classic treats like Moon Pies, Goo Goo Clusters, and ribbon candy. Sadly this was the only warm and fuzzy I got from my visit here. Ok Food, good service. But it just wasn’t the same.

We came from Las Vegas just to visit this Cracker Barrel. The service was great. It was busy but we got our drinks and food really fast. Our server was fun and enjoyable. I had the broccoli cheddar chicken and my husband had the meatloaf. Yummy!!! All for under $ 30!!! We were also blessed to have met«The Kelley’s» who were celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary. Nice family atmosphere. Well worth the 100 mile drive.

Don’t order their skinny little ass starving steak. Sooooo thin I thought it was attachment to the plate. And the mashed potatoes were flat tasting… well no one put salt and butter in them to help make them taste good. Throw in a sprinkle of pepper too. But, I heard that their biscuits and gravy are delicious. Maybe next time. Leave it to me to order the wrong thing and be disappointed. The three stars go to the décor of this place inside and out. It’s basically a tourist place. I love all the little goodies in their souvenir shop. I could buy up the place, but it is a bit pricy. Well, back on the road again… and that piercing heat… ayyy

Decided to return on my back from the Grand Canyon on our way back to Los Angeles. The pace was empty about 10 customer on the dinning room. We were seated by the hostess and waited 10 minutes none of the waiters or waitress nor busboys offered to take our orders or even an acknowledge us. There were five us on the table. Not even offered us a glass of water. What a horrible experience. Never again will I ever be back there again never. The manager just apologized for the bad service. She offers us to sit again but we were too upset by then.
