Driving through town from Flagstaff, we experienced car trouble. I found Fort Beale RV on the internet. We pulled in without a reservation and were greeted by friendly office staff. We got a site with a small shade tree. The campground was clean and quiet. While our vehicle was repaired the next morning we were able to walk to the historic downtown area. What might have been a bad experience turned out nicely.

Bakersfield, CA
We stayed here on a pass through to the Grand Canyon. It was a very clean and friendly RV park easily located off the main highway.
The spots were level and pull thru. There is a train that goes through on a regular basis but we didn’t seem to mind.
We would stay here again. We were in a 37′ fifth wheel.
