Oh my god, after eating at an IHOP the night before on a road trip, the Roadrunner Café is an antidote to generic, expensive and impersonal road food. Great little classic homey diner, delicious food, amazingly friendly and funny staff(talk to Marina), and totally economical. This is the kind of place that can positively effect your whole day if not your whole trip. Knowing that there are great people serving great food somewhere still is priceless. We ordered the eggs Benedict and the country biscuit special. Hearts.

Really tasty pancakes and waffles! Service was super fast and very friendly. The place also looks really cute inside. The decoration is really good. I definitely recommend this place!

Best greasy spoon on route 66! My grandmother was just amazed at how perfectly cooked the eggs were! Drop everything and go now!

We are so glad we looked at Unilocal and stopped at The Roadrunner for breakfast this morning. We had a wonderful breakfast, served piping hot by a fun and friendly staff that took the time to make us feel welcome in their charming old style café. The restaurant was well kept and the pancakes were awesome as well as my breakfast sandwich and my husbands Eggs Benedict. It is apparent the team here is proud of their shop and the food they serve — we will definitely be stopping again!

Great eats, great service! Had a breakfast burrito, and my buddies had omelets and panckackes. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went here for breakfast today because it was right next to the motel else stayed in. Home style foods here a nice selection of omelettes and pancakes. I’m not really into eggs and pancakes but I know I can’t expect much else in a café for breakfast. I gave it 4 stars because my boyfriend really enjoyed his waffles and eggs. I ordered an egg sandwich which was actually pretty good.

My brother is Vegan and they had options even for him! We stopped here on our way to Vegas and not only was the service great, but the quality of food is too. I ordered the Spanish omelette and it came with hashbrowns and an additional side. If I lived in this city, I’d definitely try to be a regular here.

Drove from Vegas into downtown Kingman to buy lottery tickets for the 1.5 billion dollar lottery. Wow I can’t believe I didn’t win! I felt like a winner, I even did what winner’s do and talked about how I would spend my newfound riches. Oh well, even though I spent 5 hours of my life on a mission to buy lottery tickets in a town known for… um, well I am not sure? I was not sad about it because I had breakfast! Roadrunner Café was cool, typical diner experience you come to expect. A little outdated, small and crammed full of locals. Eggs were on point, bacon was crispy like we asked for and service was with a smile. The server did seem overwhelmed and we never got a refill on our coffee but hey we didn’t mind much since we were busy playing the IQ game on the table.(which should be cleaned more often *wink *wink) You can’t really ask for more than that from a local diner and if ever we find ourselves looking for lottery tickets in Kingman we will be back!

Love this little place. Not much seating but it’s typical café and great food. We came in at 11:00 am and got a great hot breakfast and the coffee was great too!

Love this place for breakfast. Small place but the food is very good! I love the pancakes, best I’ve tried in Kingman, AZ. Great place to try if you are traveling Rte 66.

Great food. Yes it may look iffy from the outside, but the food and the service were worth the stop.

Staff was friendly enough, but the food was not great. I ordered the eggs benedict, and the sauce tasted like glue. Hubby ordered the chorizo and eggs — the chorizo was the cheap-kind from the grocery store. Hash browns and coffee were decent, but based on the Unilocal reviews, I expected so much better. Would not recommend unless you stick with the pancakes and eggs.

Came in on a Tuesday morning with a party of 3 and sat right down. Definitely an old school diner kind of feel. Sit at the counter on high swivel chair or at a booth. Right off of I40 so very convenient. Breakfast and lunch menu are quite expansive and everything is very reasonably priced. We had the 2×2×2 with French toast, eggs and bacon and it was all very good. Also had the breakfast burrito and it was great. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the entire meal, food was quick to the table as well. If you are in the area for breakfast or lunch this place is a must stop!

Came in because of the Unilocal reviews. Totally worth it. Definitely a hole in the wall but the good kind. I got a breakfast burrito that you basically custom order, wife got eggs Benedict and the kids got cakes. It was all good. Didn’t get coffee because it was farmer brothers but what else can you expect in the desert of az? If you are in the area, stop by. You won’t be sad.

This is a diner. It’s not a fancy place. The staff is friendly. The food is good comfort food. I come here at least once a week for lunch. There are peg games on the tables to entertain you while you wait. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. My favorite menu items are the crispy chicken sandwich and the monte cristo sandwich. My friends enjoy the chicken fried steak sandwich and chili cheese fries. Staff is friendly and jokes around with us when we come in. You should probably avoid this place if you don’t have a sense of humor.

This little place was a great choice! They have delicious, soft biscuits and gravy. The coffee was rich and full bodied. Though the building and décor is dated it is super clean, bright and cheery. The waitress gave tasty recommendations and was attentive. There was a warm and friendly vibe. We were just passing through but we’re glad we stopped at the Roadrunner Café for breakfast.

We stopped in here for a late breakfast on our trip from Las Vegas to New Mexico. It was a cute little place not far from the interstate. Staff were really friendly and willing to answer any questions that you had. We both had different versions of the omelette which came with hash browns & toast. The meal was extremely fresh and competitively priced.

We were driving to the Grand Canyon and got hungry along the way, so decided to stop here for a quick bit to eat at the Roadrunner. Small, basic diner, laid out like any classic movie you have ever seen that featured a small town diner. Waitress was nice, called us «honey» in the stereotypical small town waitress way. She claimed the Eggs Benedict was the best ever. It was not. The Eggs benedict was not bad per se, but there was nothing special about it. They went a little overboard with the hollandaise, smothering the entire plate so I couldn’t even see anything underneath it. Coffee was standard. A cool thing about the Roadrunner is that each table has this simple, yet addictive logic game on it that involves jumping pegs to leave the minimal amount of pegs left on the board when you run out of moves. Each table also has an assortment of quirky books on it, bathroom reading type books. I think many patrons of the Roadrunner dine solo. I may eat here again if passing through, but only because it looks better than the rest of the selection, but the Roadrunner café is simply average.
