As You Wish

I was pleasantly surprised to find this store while on vacation in N Tahoe via Unilocal.I posted a picture of my finds :) As a Wicca I was overwhelmed with the lovely assortment of ornaments, décor, paintings (see the incredible Green Man and Goddess art behind the counter). there are also books, tarot, incense, clothing, music… Oh, and a couch for the hubby! If nothing else, go to see the wishing well out front lined inside with semi-​precious stones. :-)

This was such a cute shop with stumbled upon while looking for gifts for our friend. They do have a good little mix of everything in the store, from metaphysical stuff, candles/​incense, tobacco-​related products and funky burning man clothing and accessories. The lady there was really sweet and was a breath of fresh air, especially after we we received rude customer service at another store down the street.
Also, there’s a pirate out front and the COOLEST wishing well I’ve ever seen! It was made with so many pretty stones!
Oh and mission completed, was able to find a birthday gift for a friend, a glass bubbler for another friend… And an awesome furry bear hat with mittens for me!

Cute little store right across from the beach. Owners are nice as can be and they have some cool stuff.

We just returned from a short little trip across to the South Eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada’s. We visited our friends, Brenda & Robert of Kings Beach Ca. at Lake Tahoe. For over 11 yrs. Brenda has ran a wonderfully quaint little shop called, «As You Wish». Before entering this rustic eclectic delight, you are greeted by a gnarly pirate, then step up and gaze into the historic wishing well, lined with fist-​sized crystals and semi-​precious stones and a story all it’s own. Step inside the rustic shop and you have entered into an enchanted forest, mysterious and spiritual. Beautiful gemstone crystals, fabulous jewelry, fairies and dragons, the air is filled with celtic music, essentials oils and incense. Every nook and cranny invites you to explore. Their backroom is more enchanting with one-​of-​a-​kind clothing & whimsical pipes. All you BurningMan enthusiasts, they even have playa gear. You will also find the full product line of Hemp-​EaZe! As the previous reviewer stated — a store with metaphysical stuff — but you could also say there is fantasy stuff, new age stuff, a bit of Celtic, but not as much.
They also fly a pirate flag out front and there is the female equivalent of Captain Hook next to the flag in the form of a full color statue.
The guy that I talked to running the place was an older guy — apparently they used to vend at a number of Renaissance Festivals in California and Nevada — but don’t anymore since he opened the shop.

Another metaphysical store. When you walk in the fragrant combination of all the types of incense they sell is wonderful… the owner wished she could bottle it… it is good. This one deals in more fantasy items but they do have a rather large clothing area, some good for bellydancing. They have jewlery, some books, candles etc Worth a look if you like stores like this. They have a real well out front that you can Make a Wish in…
