AWESOME selection of gemstones, crystals and jewelry. They even carry a variety of local artists’ fare. You could easily spend hours in here just browsing all they have to offer. Good selection of books as well. Make sure to get your free angel card reading at the front desk. I have not had a massage here yet, but I plan on it! So glad to have a shop like this in Kings Beach.

I will give this establishment two stars as I am betting that, given the breadth of product and services that this store has, the owner is a good and contentious person. The gal that was running the shop the other day, however, was a dimwit. I bought several gifts for my 13-year-old daughter during the summer of 2010(brought them home and gave them to her for Xmas) and this past week took her in with me to visit the shop for the first time. When I could get her attention, I had the gal show me a number of items. She was in a protracted discussion with some woman in the store who, apparently, does over-the-phone services in connecting one with ones«guides.» So, this shop clerk was totally distracted with this vacuous conversation about how she is moving to Kauai but wants to know who has more influence over her life, her«higher being» or her«guides»(or whatever… the fact that this gal was going to pay this random woman $ 80 to speak to her over the phone about her guides gives you an idea of her intellectual calibur). In the meantime, my daughter looks over the merchandise, finds a pair of earrings she kind of likes, but we tell the gal we are going to go look at the gift shop next door but might be back. As I am about to exit the store, the gal says«Where is the ring that was in this tray?» I explained that I hadn’t the foggiest idea of what she was talking about… but she was rude I was(and still am) ANGRY. Hey, blonde shop girl with the peanut-sized brain: if you can’t watch your merchandise or have lost track in accounting for it, don’t blame your customers unless you are pretty sure that they have done something wrong. Maybe your phone-mystic buddy took it… or the couple who was also shopping… but most likely, you don’t have any idea of WHAT is going on in the shop because you are so lacking in both intelligence and common sense(I am sure that businesses in Tahoe have a challenge in dealing with theft, but I saw nothing untoward and am betting that nobody in the store took anything). I can assure you that we did not spend three thousand dollars on a weekly rental at Tahoe to drive up there and rob your establishment of its cheap trinkets. Get a clue. And one last bit of advice: when you are in Hawaii, stay away from the«pakalolo.» You are so lacking in brain cells that the loss of only a few will probably render you comatose. Wonderful shop right next door — Robin’s Nest.

Another new age, metaphysical shop. Not as much selection and variation as «As You Wish» in Kings Beach — but still a nice little shop nonetheless. They also offer services the other place does not — massages. The girl that was running the place was very friendly — AND they were running their business on the current generation iMac — very cool!
