What a quaint small little Mexican restaurant. I tried the carnitas and it was the hit among our party of 8.
The rest of the food at our table was good, not high end spectacular but not bad.
Margaritas were good, chips and salsa good, I’ve had better guacamole but it wasn’t bad.
Overall, the service, food and ambiance are all good.

«Not So-​Cal type mexican»… well, guess what, we aren’t in Southern California… Oh, are we? What do I know, this place clearly takes me somewhere else!
Ariving at Las Panchitas, Parking is hit or miss as the locals storm in, in bursts to get a dose of authentic, delicious food, and friendly, outgoing service. Speaking with the owner who served us, was easier than having a convo with a best friend. Laid back feel, with true flair by the lake.
With a full menu, there’s not much to be missed when looking for good Mexican.
Chips brought out before you order, with a spicey and very tasty salsa get you excited for what’s to come. Order anything you want, it will all be good; From Carnitas and tostadas, to huevos rancheros, they make it all.
There’s a reason this place has been in business for so long, and I bet it’s the style and nature of the staff and locals who love it.

Good authentic Mexican food. Great service. Waiter brought us extra chips and salsa, no charge.
We both had the enchilada and taco lunch plate.
We will be back when we’re in the mood for some Mexican food. Prices are good for lunch.

1 service manager on phone off and on and not paying attention to people who want to order. 2. The kids drinks fruit punch and guava tasted awful! Very watered down and no good flavor. I order a cup of soup that should of been giving to me as soon as I ordered it at least 10 minutes. Came with my main entrée so I sent it back. The fajitas were delicious! Came out warm; however, the waiter did not ask me if I wanted flour or corn tortillas. My daughter had the nachos which were actually disgusting. No flavor but cooked chicken! That isn’t authentic nachos! Sorry, won’t be back. Lastly I did not even get asked how our meal was! Shame on you !!!
