So happy we found this gem while we were on vacation in Tahoe last week. We went in the weekend of valentines day and it was packed of course, but the food and service were not lacking. The steak was delicious, the mashed potatoes were excellent. Try the Boondt amber ale beer on tap, it is absolutely fantastic. I had to go find a 6 pack afterwards. Not much to choose from in the area in my opinion, kings café(burger), bites in incline village, and this place are my top three choices for dinner.

Late review on this one. But this place is lit. Their beer selections/sizes are worth the trip itself. The restaurant perfectly fits the entire Tahoe vibe and I think it’s safe to say that this place is a staple in future trips to North Lake. Great food and an option for unlimited trips to their salad bar. #Sold!

Good food in Tahoe can be hard to find and expensive. We’re thrilled this restaurant is nearby. For about $ 65 my family of four had a steak dinner, mushroom/swiss burger, two giant kids meals(ribs!) and 2 craft beers. Not bad at all when you consider the lakefront location, romantic interior, excellent customer service and quality ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection. The rib kids meal plates were huge and some of the most tender ribs I’ve ever had. Good value for Tahoe.

Place was really hopping at 2pm on a Wed, so maybe I’m being too critical, but the food was really just«so-so». The salad bar was good, but the dressing didn’t taste homemade, The price of the salad bar was OK as long as you did it as an add on to your meal for only $ 4.95, However, the salad bar alone is a whopping $ 12 + another $ 5 for chicken or $ 8 for salmon — that’s more than just the salmon by itself as a main course! I had the ½ hamburger which I was really looking forward too. I ordered it med and it came prepared that way, but it was still kinda dry and it didn’t have that BBQ flavor I was looking forward to. The bun was really thick and also kinda dry, which was a disappointment for a $ 14 burger. My husband had the ribs and he enjoyed them, but nothing we’d be dying to come back for.

Cool cocktails and an awesome fire pit inside! Their only salad option is their salad bar, which is pretty decent, but it’s good to know! Would like to check it out in the summer with outdoor seating.

There prime ribs are really juicy and fall of the bone with a right amount of sauce. They have a good selection of local draft beer. The Mammoth double Nut porter is so good with slight dark coffee flavors.

Yum yum yum! Our meals were so delicious! Ordered a cup of chili and husband ordered a burger. No leftovers here. Kids had fresh food from the salad bar. Pretty decent.

My friend and I were looking for some good spots to try on the North Shore of Tahoe around lunchtime on a recent Saturday. We had stopped off to have a look at the lake and sure enough, Jason’s Beachside Grille beckoned. One of the best parts of Jason’s is the waterside location with a nice big deck to sit out and enjoy the view of the lake. It’s only open seasonally but it was still in action when we were there in early November which was a good sign. The menu at Jason’s presents an interesting offering of salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. I ordered a turkey club which was served with fries — Overall very good, and huge portions. Paired with a local beer on draft, it was a really nice way to while away a couple of hours in the sunshine and fresh air. Service was quick and attentive and Jason’s has a fairly central location so it’s accessible right off the road from the other North Shore towns. This is a good bet for a casual, reasonably priced lunch or dinner in the area.

My girlfriends and I came in Saturday 11⁄21 for a light lunch and a drink as we were there for just the day and visiting. I gave a four star rating because Leila gave us amazing service, but a few items we ordered were not up to par. We ordered: Chili,(strange after taste) Clam chowder(was amazing), potato skins(very dry/crunchy), Calamari(rubbery/over cooked/over priced/small portion) that item was overall the most disappointing. The clam chowder was a hit and recommended. Overall the only thing we ordered that we enjoyed besides the great service. Thank you Leila!

Jason’s has great ambiance. You can sit at the bar and see the lake, the patio in the summer, or sit by the fire in the winter. Their customer service isn’t stellar but that could just be the Tahoe way of doing things. Everything is just a little more relaxed up there. The food is typical bar fare ranging from burgers to salmon entrees. I looked over the AYCE salad bar and opted for a veggie burger. The offerings were decent but not enough to sway me. The veggie burger was typical(Garden Burger I think) but the fries were great. I would probably opt for appetizers and drinks next time.

Great location. Service wasn’t great but they were pretty busy with ironman crowd. Food was good.

Our first night in Tahoe, one of our friends recommend this place. Now the main street is under construction so it’s a bit difficult to get to any of these. But once you do the restaurant has a huge section that is outside, but you don’t even know that it is due from its huge canopy over top and the portable heaters all around. The Menu is quite large, so take your time to look around. Their biggest attraction here is the Huge Salad bar. It has the best items on it. And for 11.95 you can go back as many times as you wish. Some of the items are Potato Salad, Pasta Salad, artichokes, Grilled Chicken just to name a few, But if you can imagine this, Then you already know where I’m going. I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger, which was a hand crafted burger loaded and piled high with mushrooms and onions then covered with cheese. OMG! Plus I ordered a one pass salad bar which my wife and I split. It was the best. I’m not lying when I say I dreamt about the salad bar. My wife ordered a pasta dish with Grilled chicken Penne Pasta Dish. Another amazing dish. The pasta was seasoned and flavorful. We wanted to have dessert but after dinner, we were so full. The check came and the amount was 48.00 not bad for a great meal. You can be rest assured that we went back the next day for lunch for the amazing salad bar. JASON you killed it ! Keep up the great work.

Pros: –We were a very large party of 30, and the waitress kindly asked a couple who was done with their meal to relocate to seat us all together –there is a wide selection of food and drinks –I was happy with my baby back ribs which I couldn’t finish in one sitting. The meat fell off the bone without the help of my fork. I was also very hungry. I also tried the prime rib, which was very moist and delicious! –they were able to modify the order: I wanted to sub the baked potato for fries. –the seating in the patio provides a view of the beach! –the first waiter was nice enough to exchange a $ 100 for twentys. He promised he wouldn’t run away with his money too! Cons: –we waited for at least 15 min even though we had a reservation, granted, it was super busy and we had a big party –it was a challenge for the multiple waiters to serve us all and not get our orders mixed up. I couldn’t tell who was our waiter. –the menu items are a bit overpriced for what you get. I hoped for more fries and I wasn’t dying for more of their food.

Recommended by locals as the best burger on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Nice rustic interior w/lots of wood décor, full bar and an AYCE salad bar. Outdoor patio seating was enclosed, yet had a large plexi window w/a great view of Kings Beach and Lake Tahoe. We tried the Alpine burger and Monterey burger and each of our 1⁄3 lb burgers were cooked to perfection. Expensive at $ 13 bucks each, but absolutely delicious! Glad we came here for lunch!

OK. So I was headed for Zephyr Cove and got lost. Getting lost is easy for me. So I asked Siri to get me to Kings Beach. Had an out of town guest and wanted to get her close to the water. So the main drag through Kings Beach is under construction, but finally got to a parking lot($ 5) Asked the parking lot attendant to recommend s place to eat. He suggested Jason’s which was conveniently located in the parking lot. And, he gave us a $ 3 coupon to boot So enough about my trials and tribulations. Service was quick and friendly. No grief about changing a drink order that we ordered in error. Had a burger which was actually medium rare as requested. Prime rib sandwich had plenty of meat. And the fries were excellent. Something about fries that come out hit snd crispy(not overdone). Definitely would go back. We lucked out– early in the season, so no crowds. This place is probably jumping in real«beach weather)
