Dallas Hot Wieners II

The best dogs on the east coast. The sauce is amazing! Seriously put it on everything. It’s got great flavor and a little kick to it. Dallas hot wieners is one of a kind and def worth a try! Burgers, dogs, fries, soups, the works. Def check it out! Nick is the man at the Broadway location and the new location out in town of ulster is awesome!

Summary– Friendly help and very authentic location almost saves DHWII from 2 stars.
Their wieners are pretty small (that’s what she said) I would say 3 makes a decent lunch.

Having been to all the best Michigan sauce places around Albany (Gus’s, Famous Lunch, Newest Lunch) I kinda had an idea of what to expect. I was a bit disappointed. I would say that this might be my least favorite regional hot dog sauce I have ever had, kinda soupy and not much in the way of flavor. The hot dog itself was also completely devoid of any bite or real flavor. I did like it that the mustard they use is Deli mustard.
Fries were fine although the cheese fries were good old nasty nacho cheese (which is what I expected). Co-​workers burger looked like a standard cheapy burger, definitely nothing to go outta your way for.
Atmosphere– 5 Stars
Clean and authentically old school.
Value– 3 Stars
It’s cheap as hell (it’s also cheap as hell to make).
Service– 5 Stars
Very nice waitress asked how everything was twice.
