This place doesn’t do normal pizza. What they do is handmade specialty pizza, salads, and some other dishes. What I love the most are there cannoli. They are sweet, creamy, crunchy, and filled with chocolate chips. I could eat 1000 of them.

I can’t eat pizza anywhere else now thanks to OP. The ingredients are so fresh that even if you just stick with the classic Tino’s Margherita, there’s enough flavor for days, but I also recommend the Tartufo(you can substitute olives for the sausage if you’re a vegetarian — that truffle oil, mmm), the Caprino, and the Nonna, if you like a white pie. The staff and service have always been superb and quick, including for pick-ups. The place is cozy though so be prepared to wait for a table during peak times.

This is our favorite pizza spot in the area. We’ve tried just about all of their pizza and a few salads and I can say I’ve never been disappointed. They even have BYOB which is nice. My only complaint would be that the restaurant is really small. Other than that it’s great! The staff is always friendly too

The restaurant was very small with limited seating. But the food was delicious. The thin crusted sausage & mushroom pizza was excellent that I even ate the crust. The meatball was tender and juicy. Bruschetta was so so. Have to come back to try different pizza next time.

Awesome pizzas. They have nice service, really good food and I think it’s the ingredients we got a bruschetta and 3 really good pizzas — all recommended by the waitress. Definitely top notch pizza place.

Amazing Food and Service. The restaurant is very small, but whatever the wait may be, its totally worth it. I DREAM about the Truffled Honey & Goat Cheese Bruschetta. The pizzas are light and you can tell that they use top quality ingredients. LOVE this place!

have been 2x — some of the best pizza i’ve had. while it’s an upscale(and certainly much pricier) place compared to the dozens of «average at best» pizzerias in the area the unique, fresh, and well cooked pizzas were excellent. one reco is to ask for lightly cooked crust if you don’t want it a little brown and crispy. this made ours perfect. even our finicky kids really liked the basic cheese pizza. will definitely be back. only downside is that its tiny(especially when cold and not using outside seating). last time we arrived at 7:30 on a thursday with a 25-minute wait so we had to pass.

I love their pizza. If I’m in the mood for a light pizza their traditional margarita is the way to go.

It was tricky to pick a review for Osteria. The food is DELICIOUS. The most recent time we visited, we got the Beet Salad, Pesto Pizza and Truffle Pizza. Everything was FABULOUS. If the review were only for the food, it would be a 5+!! However, my two friends and I were all meeting in the middle for dinner. So it was about a 40 minute drive for each of us. The food came quickly which was great. We were probably finished eating after 40 minutes and were working on finishing our bottle of wine. Unfortunately, when we didn’t pay the check immediately, the waitress came over and asked us to pay and leave because people were waiting for our table. When you visit a restaurant, especially a BYOB, you don’t expect to be rushed out the door the second you are finished. So basically, my friends and I spent more time driving than spending time together. Disappointing.

On our TOP5FAVORITE pizza places list. For the last 12 months we have been touring the pizza places in NJ and NY for the BEST pizza and this is one of the BEST. We are not done yet so stay tuned for updates. We have followed Best pizza guides and foodie recommendations in our quest. We have found some to be totally false and some to be diamonds in the rough. This is a diamond in the rough. We have been back to this place along with some others just to confirm our verdict of TOP10 favorite places. Osteria Procaccini stands head and shoulders above the rest I just wish they had a name I could pronounce so, when people ask for a recommendation I could sound intelligent when I pronounce the name. Let that be a lesson to would be business owners, name it so everyone can easily recommend it. This is a very casual place with limited seating and a long wait. In the summer you can sit on the patio but, in colder weather plan on waiting for a fantastic pizza. You can BYOB. The staff is accommodating and polite. If you like GREAT Neapolitan pizza this is a TERRIFIC choice.

I thought I’d be crazy about this place based on all of the great reviews, but I don’t think it lived up to all of the hype. The thin crust pizza was good, but I’ve had better, and the burrata was very cold; burrata should always be served at room temperature. The best thing we had was the meatballs. They were huge and delicious. Overall, this place was good, but not worthy of more than 3 stars.

I love this place! Can’t believe I haven’t reviewed it until now, considering I’ve been here 7 – 8 times! Their prices are very reasonable and it’s really the only restaurant of its kind in this area. I love how friendly the staff here is, they are so accommodating when it comes to making substitution or special requests which I very much appreciate! I order the burrata appetizer just about every time I come here and as for the pizza I tend to lean towards whatever their special is because they use local fresh ingredients and come up with creative pies.

Hate to do this because usually they’re so yummy but I gotta be honest. 3 stars because maybe it was just a bad day, but honestly I want to put 2 stars. Food: the waitress recommended the special so we got it along with our usual. The pizza was out of the park sweet. I didn’t not like it at all in fact I am still disappointed by it. The pizza had figs, Gorgonzola, balsamic, and few other ingredients i don’t remember but I think they just added too much balsamic. If you do decide to get one of their specials of the day make sure you let them know to add the toppings moderately. On the thee hand, the pizza I always get was yummy. It was a good chaser for the awful pizza. Service: the waitress was nice but very lazy. Actually all the staff seemed to be focused on personal issues. The girl at the register spent the entire duration of my visit complaining about how her boy friend works every week day and come weekends and how hard it is to spend time with him, also all this drama about a wedding in Canada and whatever else. I wasn’t trying to eat hustle but they spoke loudly and didn’t pay any mind to any of the tables. My water was empty from when I first sat down and downed the glass because the heat to when I left. This visit all together was pretty much disappointing.

While on my way to this osteria, it was impossible for me not to think of Mario Procaccino. Read all about him at – he conducted«the worst political campaign in American history»! Is this establishment run by his relatives? Whoever operates this place does an excellent job. First of all, it’s BYOB, which is a totally amazing thing for people who are visiting from normal states like California. BYOB is a perfect opportunity for diners to bring interesting wines and beers that are typically not available(at least at affordable prices) on restaurant menus. We brought in a Corsican rose(purchased at Corkscrew, down the road) and loved it. Sadly, the people at the next table had bottles of Two-Buck Chuck. Three of us downed: An order of six bruschetta, three«traditional»(chopped tomatoes…) and three with truffled honey and goat cheese. These were quite good, though Barcelona could survive the competition. A kale caesar salad(recommended by many Unilocalers). I liked it a lot but my fellow diners claimed that my kale caesar(made with lemon, olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper) is better. A margherita pizza with sliced meatballs on top. The topping was recommended by Unilocal reviews but didn’t seem to be mentioned on the menu. Our reaction was mixed. I thought that the combination was a good one, but one member of our group claimed that the meat seemed like a really extraneous ingredient. A pesto pomodoro pizza. This was my least favorite item, but it went over well. We had enough food for four people but probably would have been unhappy had we ordered one fewer item. We finished everything, including the bottle of rose. Our cost at the restaurant, including tax and tip, was $ 60. The(quality)/(price) ratio is definitely high. On the other hand, the service was a bit quick; one might infer that the house was eager to turn over tables. There’s every reason to think that they would be, since the place was quite busy. We arrived roughly at 7PM and were lucky enough to get a table on the patio. Soon after we arrived, all tables seemed to be full.

Good pizza. If you’re going with a group of two, the perfect sized meal would be one appetizer(bruschetta), split a salad, and split a pizza. Ordered the special that day – beets on white pizza. It was alright. I wish I had ordered the arugula pizza without prosciutto bc I’m vegetarian. My friend ordered that one with prosciutto and said it was very good. Good food, cozy restaurant, decent service – all around, it was a solid meal(though slightly expensive). Note: salads are pretty big.

I wanted to love this place as much as all the other 4 and 5 star Unilocalers but I was slightly let down despite all the hype. Don’t get me wrong, the pizza was by no means bad, it just didn’t live up to some of the other brick oven types that I’ve had. I will give them credit for our waitress being prompt and friendly as well the place having outside seating. Another star for all organic ingredients it’s just nice to know they’re not serving you processed junk. And the fact that it is byo is always a plus in my book. That being said, the wait time on our pizzas was definitely on the long side. The kitchen didn’t seem out of control so I’m wondering if they forgot about our order? No harm done I understand it happens but I have to mention it. When the pizzas came out they were a little smaller than what I would expect for $ 16-$ 18 dollar per pie range. Like I said, the pizza wasn’t bad it just didn’t blow me away like it seemed to have done to others. If you’re in the area, it’s worth visiting, but if you find yourself further south, stop at the vault in bordentown if you’re a brick oven pizza fanatic.

I love the pizzas here, despite(surprisingly) not being a fan of pizza usually. They’re like flatbread, in the style of original Italian pizzas, so they won’t leave you bloated like extremely cheesy American-style pizzas do. There’s a large selection of different pizzas, all either«red»(with tomato sauce) or «white». There are also different sandwiches and other menu items. I’ve tried a sandwich once and liked it, but definitely come here for the pizza. It’s a cozy place to go enjoy a meal and chat with family or friends. The service is also pretty good, with friendly staff who are willing to accommodate you. They’ll explain the menu, and make recommendations hat you’ll actually like. Sometimes there may be a wait though, since it’s very, very small and can only seat about 30 people max(there are like 4 – 5 tables). The restaurant is cramped given its small size. However, in better weather, their deck in the back is open. I like sitting outside when going here during the summertime. If you’re ever craving some good quality pizza but don’t want to feel bloated and guilty afterward, Osteria is the way to go.
