Excellent! Fresh, tasty sushi. We have an allegiance to the other sushi place down the road, but this place is as good as any of our old favorite Manhattan sushi places. Big plus: DELIVERY!

The food here is fantastic. This visit we had beef negamaki, soft shell crab, fried calamari and the Magic Roll. The calamari is incredible — crispy and better than most fried calamari that you find! My nine year old loves it. She also loves that they will bring her miso soup without the bits, and special kids chopsticks. It’s a great family owned business where the owners really look after you.

This is the best sushi place I’ve been to outside of Japan. It doesn’t look like it, until you get your food. Today I tried the hibachi for the first time and it was amazing too. And I don’t usually like hibachi because it tends to be bland, but not here.
The service is friendly and quick. There’s a parking lot in the back, which is very convenient. I love this place.

Went to this place a few days ago but never got around to write a review. This business stands out from the rest of the area. It’s in a shady part of town but they offer some decent sushi for its price. It’s not high quality but it is certainly better than a lot of sushi I’ve had in Kingston. The place is well kept and sitting at the opposite side of the sushi chef I was able to start a conversation and learn his passion for what he does. In the end it was an enjoyable experience and would recommend it for a quick solo lunch.

Stopped in before a show at UPAC (next block over). Service was slow at first. once we got menu, it was a long time until our order was taken. staff were pleasant enough, but seems to not recognize the time in between visits, nor what order people had arrived in. Food was good, although if not a shellfish fan, roll selection were limited.
As i said, food was OK, but no other factors that helped sell the experience. Doubtful I would return.

This was one of the best sushi places I’ve ever been to. The sushi rolls were amazing, and the people working there were incredibly nice and overall pleasant people. Everything was well priced, and the shrimp tempura was great too. Keep up the great work Yosuda!

The food is so good and the presentation is beautiful and fun! I don’t even like sushi, generally, but they’ve helped change my mind! I love the volcano roll (nothing raw!) and seaweed salad. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to make sure your experience is positive.

Friendly, expert sushi chef who takes great pride in his work. The sushi was wonderfully fresh, and the chef made excellent suggestions when we asked what was good tonight. Sit at the bar to get to chat with him and get suggestions if you can. While we were there many regulars came in, and all were recognized and welcomed. We were just passing through town but were also treated really nicely. We heard that they have been open 10 months now – I recommend not letting lower earlier reviews steer you away from this gem!

First visit to Yasuda and glad I did. Was there for dinner, two couples. Very clean, attractive, and friendly. We started with several appetizers, all very nicely prepared and tasty. We had a salmon teriyaki which had 2 very nice pieces of salmon. One person had hibachi shrimp. She loved it. Two of us had sashimi and sushi rolls. All fresh, tasty, and very well presented. Even the desserts were good. Tempura cheese cake was awesome. Joyce the waitress was a doll. This place is a keeper.

Excellent sushi, service, and prices. We’ve been to a few sushi places in the area and have found Yasuda to be the best deal around for sushi. The quality is even better than some of the more expensive choices around. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well… we are new to the area but we are recognized and welcomed every time we go.
They have a good selection of Sake as well — I’m no expert, but they guided me perfectly and explained the differences as well. I’m still no master, but the Sake they serve is great.

Ordered delivery which was a wonderful excuse not to leave the couch. Sushi was nicely presented and came within an hour of ordering online. However I disagree with other people’s reviews of the quality of the sushi. I am a bit of a sushi snob perhaps (it’s raw fish– shouldn’t we all be when eating it?) the rice wasn’t as sticky as it should be which automatically lost points for me. The rolls were tasty although the lack of stickiness in the rice didn’t make them hold up as well. We also ordered hand rolls (decent) and sushi. Mackerel was not edible. Other sushi was decent. All in all, I would always choose other Kingston sushi joints over this one (Kodomo or Makio which is the best) But if you’re looking for quick and easy, it’s worth a shot.

Standard experience. The sushi chef was nice and energetic but that didn’t make up for the quality and overall experience.
We decided to try this place becuse we drive past it the time and never see anyone in there, so we had to see for ourselves.
Menu was typical — no thrills and moderately priced.

Run don’t walk! The sushi is incredible! Fresh inexpensive for the quality and the owners are a family and come to table say hello have a conversation are attentive and make you feel at home. ITS BRAND NEW the floors are beautiful the space is tranquil with great soft music playing. I had 5 pieces of sushi, spicy tuna roll inside out with crunch, California roll and chef surprise salmon avacado roll inside out with spicy mayo on top in the picture. Presentation is beautiful. They made a bird out of carrots as garnish! The ginger is crispy natural ginger not dyed pink ginger that is soggy like in other sushi places. I can’t wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu. They have popular SUSHI SANDWICH. Found that very unique I must try next time. This will be the perfect date spot for me.

The sushi was good. Rice was not sticky. My sushi roll fell apart. Although the roll was presented beautifully and tasted good.
The chef was very friendly and appreciative of our business. He showed us how to carve the beautiful carrot flowers. Very talented. I can see he enjoys what he does and takes pride in making his customers happy.
The interior is clean and the staff are friendly.
I think it’s a nice change from the typical pizza or sub lunches on Broadway. Also he delivers within a 6 mile radius.

Stop in and try anything on the menu. The owners are friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food is all very fresh. You may want to eat here every day just to try everything available.
