I usually dislike going to any exam or doctor but going to Berkeley Eye Center is actually a pleasant experience. Everyone is very polite and pleasant and most willing to help. I have had my current glasses for almost ten years and knew I needed new ones. I hesitated as I am now retired and on a fixed income. When I mentioned this to the technician he told me he would investigate my insurance and try to get me the best deal he could. He took all my eyeglass concerns into account and was able to set me up with a beautiful new pair of glasses for less than half of what I expected to pay! I am ecstatic! Thank you Berkeley Eye Center!

Love this place! Been a patient here for 2 years and I won’t go anywhere else! They always take such great care of me. Never have to wait long, and they always try to help you out anyway they can. Even if it’s helping with a payment plan so I can get my glasses. Also were very curious when I needed to come in and change my name on my paperwork. I was recommended by a friend & I will gladly continue coming back.

I have been coming to Berkeley Eye Center for 4 years now and I truly love coming to the eye doctor! The staff and doctors are always very nice to us. I was seeing Dr. Z, for the whole time but now I see Dr. Palumbo and he was really cool, very helpful with my questions! I even had my Lasik with them and they were great for after my surgeries making sure I was healing well and that my eyes are healthy!
Even Mark in the eyeglass department is a great guy! He still remembers me and my daughter each time he sees us! It means a lot to us just the wonderful customer service they provide!

Dr. Palumbo put me right at ease the second he walked in. He was thorough, explained everything he was doing as he was doing it and listened to what i had to say. His receiving staff were also comforting! Very good experience as i was scared to death to have anyone near my eyes! Found out I am a suspect for Glaucoma which if left unchecked will cause blindness!
