Denny’s

Usually don’t get anything except breakfast at Denny’s. This location does a pretty good job with it. I always try their special. They have an awesome jalapeño bacon right now. Give it try.
We always ask for Ethan and he is an awesome server. Fast and friendly!

The service has been quick and good it’s really quiet and the food came out quickly. Enjoyed the experience tonight but the should bring back refills on hot chocolate.

I did not go in with an open mind. I’ve had bad experiences when this Denny’s first opened years and years ago. But, my family wanted to go, I’m just along for the ride.
I was pleasurably surprised at the cleanliness. Let’s be honest, we never expect these places to be spotless. But pretty clean, the waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Everything came out the way we asked.
The food was decent. What you would expect from a chain diner. We all had breakfast, it’s hard to mess up eggs. (Not that it doesn’t happen)
I’ll go back for breakfast of the fam bam wants to go again.

This place is disgusting! The tables are filthy and covered in salt and pepper, the menus are sticky and dirty with syrup, the food is cold and the staff doesn’t pay attention to anything you order. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

This restaurant is barely acceptable the service from the manager was normal she was rude and inconsiderate. The table was filthy if you moved the saltshaker it look like it hadn’t been washed underneath the condiment tray in a month. Couldn’t even hold the menus because they were so sticky from syrup disgusting!

Updated: during follow up visit we asked for the same dish as below. When we asked to please fill in all the gaps in plate with potaotes as pictured, we were told we would be charged extra. When we voiced disagreement, they relented. ORIGINAL REVIEW: love the fact we can get breakfast anytime here. The staff and waitress are always so extremely friendly and.polite. however ever since the menu was changed it has just not being the same denny s we loved. I may not have the inside scoop but I can tell something is off, different and the ambiance and the food are not the same. I have noticed a shift and also noticed how the long term staff have all been replaced. Was there today and while crowding and long lines are to be expected, the food was so average and definitely not the same as pictured in menu. We always order the skillets and noticed that when this new item was introduced it was alot more appealing and the skillet was much more than today’s skillet.

I love Denny’s! Every time I come here I’m greeted with a smile and the Hostess is excellent! It gets pretty busy at times and that means 15 min wait but the hostess moves quick and makes sure customers are being seated.
I never had a problem here. The food is consistent and the service is great.
I love to eat here for breakfast and I like that the menu has healthy choices for those of us who try to eat healthy sometimes. My favorite dish is the Fit Slam. It’s egg whites with spinach, with an English muffin, turkey bacon, and a bowl of fruit. Always comes out fresh and delicious! Definitely will be coming back soon!

Dirty bathrooms that really smell bad. Nice waitress but slow service. Just waiting for a coffee refill

Ordered grilled chicken. Got fish? Sent back and the grilled chicken but tasted freezer burnt and the broccoli was over microwaved frozen. Could have had a better lean cuisine from Kroger at half the price. Have to say waitress was really nice.

So dissapointed this last visit!!!
Food came out at seperate times. My order came out with the table next to us, order. Hubbys meal we had to wind up getting it to go, after he went up and asked the manager. Our food wasn’t cooked right either.
The place was EMPTY on a sunday morning, that should have told me something…

First of all, I have to start by saying I was horribly scarred by an experience at the Denny’s on Old Holzwarth. I vowed to never go back to a Denny’s. I made an exception, and am so very thankful that I did. The place was very busy, as is expected for a Saturday morning, but there was a man with one arm at the front, and this guy was HUSTLING! Got us seated right away, and I continued to see him helping his coworkers as much as he could throughout my stay. My waitress, Leslie, was very nice and accommodating. I could tell the staff was weeded (I’m in the industry too), but they never showed signs of stress. Everyone had smiles and great attitudes. I even saw a gentleman closing vents because it had become a bit cold in our area. I also saw this man greet other tables of people, who seemed to be regulars, although they were not in his section. This visit alone, restored my faith in Denny’s. It’s a further drive than IHOP, but the service and hospitality was impeccable! Keep it up Denny’s Kingwood!!!

the service here sucks! I’m sitting here waiting for my drink (iced coffee) and its been a whole carafe of oj and a glass of water and I still don’t have my coffee. They aren’t very friendly either the waitress made a joke to my nephew in Spanish, stupid lady were Mexicans don’t you know we speak Spanish too!!!
Denny’s is Denny’s, well known, and you get the same food no matter which 1 you choose to go to but if you like to be treated right then don’t come here.

The only Dennys worth going to for sure, it doesnt stink isnt falling to pieces and service is good

I have some very specail memories here. It is never very crowded. I have watched the servers change in and out and they are usually a lot of fun. I used to go late at night when everything in kingwood was closed. I love going and just sitting down getting some giant nachos, and sharing with everyone. I have had birthday parties here, have gone prom night, and even Christmas eve night, they are always open and always have something good.

This is a Denny’s. There are many like it and this one is no different. That is the best thing about it. You pretty much know what you will get here with service and quality every single time and that is average diner food on a consistent basis.
My last visit was to this location just two days ago. I ordered a Belgian waffle with two eggs, bacon, and coffee. Everything was exactly the way I expected it to be. Good old reliable Denny’s. Nothing to wow you but never really a bad meal or horrible service.

We love Denny’s! I use to go out late all the time and this would be the go to place after a night out. I love their meat lover’s scramble. I get that every time and their pancakes are delicious too!
I’m also in love with their late night specials! Definitely a great place to go if you’re craving breakfast food or just want to meet up for a quick chat.

It’s a Dennys, not much to say other than that overall. Regular Dennys fare. But the service is usually really good at this one. The wait staff is friendly, no surprises here. Parking in front is limited, but plenty in back. Limited handicap parking, keep that in mind during busy times, they are usually taken. Could use some new ceiling tiles as some a tad on the nasty side. We keep coming back, good food, good prices, good service.
