Love this place! When I need a donut hole and kolache fix, I go to Pat’s! It’s hard not to stop on the mornings I drive by from work going home to Auburn Trails-Oakhurst.

I’ve tried the donut holes, croissant breakfast sandwich, and the boudain kolache from Pat’s donuts. Donut holes have a firm, chewy texture and the glaze remains flaky and doesn’t melt off. The croissant sandwich with ham was filling but I felt like it didn’t live up to my expectations. It was a store-bought croissant with a folded slice of ham straight from the package that was placed in a microwave before being served. I honestly make better sandwiches when I’m rushing out the door in the morning with only 3 minutes to put something together. The saving grace at Pat’s Donuts is the boudain kolache. If you are from Texas, you know the awesomeness that is the kolache. If you are from the gulf coast area, then you know the awesomeness that is the boudain sausage. Put these together and something magical happens. You must try this kolache. You’ll thank me later.

Sausage jalapeño kolache is DELICIOUS. Get the donut holes — perfect donuts super light and airy and glaze that isn’t overly sweet. Wifi available.

I wish I could give this more stars. I think the food could be great. But, the place is just so nasty! I have been to Pat’s three times in the last 2 years– twice because my boyfriend wanted to try it again. All three times I had to shoo flies off of my food. And, TWICE I found hair(that was definitely not mine!) in my taco. It’s dirty and it’s sad because they actually seem to have a well thought out menu. Eating chocolate-drizzled donut holes, fresh breakfast tacos and drinking coffee would be so perfect… if I didn’t have to worry about how sanitarily it was prepared! Today, after hairs and flies, Brandon and I both had to decide to never go back to Pat’s.

I wasn’t pleased with this place at all. The donuts that we had were a little too airy for me. It’s like when I bit into them, there was practically no substance. My husbands apple fritter was crispy, so a tad too fried in my opinion. Their regular kolache really didn’t stand out than any other kolache I had. I think I would have been fine just going to Shirley’s right down the street. Perhaps if I came here extremely early in the morning I would have gotten a better taste of what they should taste like.

Great kolaches and donut holes. I only wish they were open early enough to grab something on my way to work. :(

boudin in a kolache? Evil genius. I am told the boudin is closer to a southeast asian style that Cajun. Others have already posted pictures. Also enjoyed the deep fried bad-for-you goodness of one of their apple fritters.

Big tacos. Great kolaches! Donuts weren’t bad. Wait is a bit long but they make the breakfast tacos to order so it worth it. Much better than the Shipley’s right next door.

This was only my second visit here. We came right at 1230. Which was 30 min before they closed so the pickings were slim. We picked out about 4 different kinds and 1 included Apple fritter! I am not fond of the ones from other donut shops that are filled with Apple jelly. These were exactly what I wanted. Crispy and had chunks of Apple in it. The long John was good too. The thing I disliked and took stars away was the two ladies at the counter did not speak English. It was so frustrating trying to point out the ones we wanted because she didn’t understand what we were asking for. Price was decent too for as many donuts we ordered.

I dont like to compare businesses… but oh well… so much better than Shipleys which happens to be within a few feet from each other. Drive thru line has traffic sitting out on the service rd but its worth the wait… fresh… moist. GOOD! Traditional glazed donuts and donut holes are the best

pats donuts & kolaches is right next to Shipley’s so there is some competition with the kolaches. pats kolaches are pretty good and they have there own taste to them, you can get them small or large. they also have biscuit sandwiches such has egg & cheese & bacon, egg & cheese or bacon & egg there are more styles to the biscuit sandwich but my favorite is the«bacon egg & cheese a must have for me when I am here and when I am in the mood for it. I love the coffee here and the ice coffee isn’t iced its more blended as seen in the photos posted, its more like a Starbucks frap. which is weird to me but the ice coffee is good here as well and they have different flavors for the ice coffee. not to mention they serve breakfast tacos here and they make them fresh there made to order there a bit pricey but its well worth the money its one of the pricey items on the menu, i have yet to try the other style tacos but my favorite so far is the chorizo egg & cheese(I posted a photo of the taco). overall the place has a drive threw, has customer parking lot customer seating inside its clean and the staff is friendly i like it here at pats. get here early they close at 1pm each day of the week.

Look up online pats donuts FBI and see they hired illegal immigrants and then charged with witness tampering. At one time this was my favorite donut shop. Never again will they get a dime of mine… Sucks because their donuts and kolaches are amazing. Hire illegals and you lose my support.

Nice and clean inside. Average selection(still not the best I’ve seen) for donuts. The donuts tasted a lot like Krispy Kreme donuts.

We went to Pat’s today and we sat in the drive thru which was taking a little long so decided to go in. Looking at the kolaches & noticed a roach crawling all over them. I will not eat here and I suggest you go inside and check before you do too. This was at the one off of 1314. I had to add a star.

You can’t go wrong here. Is there a reason why the cars are lined up on the feeder of 59? Yes. It would be great donuts, honestly everything is great here. Kolaches, donuts, tacos, it doesn’t matter. They are nice, the food is good, and inexpensive. My one tip, if you plan to enjoy them in your car, ask for napkins, they don’t give them out unless you ask.

This place is awesome. Clean, good service from happy employee’s. I tried the boudain Kolaches(though I don’t normally care for boudain), because my son talked me into it. Wow! they are awesome! They have two locations; one on FM1314 near Sorter’s road and the ‘big’ location on 59 at FM1314 south, just past I-HOP. Highly recommended!

My sister-n-law introduced me to the most incredible snack — the boudain kolache. This kolache is filled with a pork/rice mix that you probably will never get to experience anywhere else. Their other offerings are just as consistent — fresh, tasty, and made with love. This family owned business blows away Dunkin’ Donuts and comparable locations within the Houston metro area. Drop by if you ever by the Kingwood or Porter area of town!

This will be my new favorite place for donuts in the area. Tried it on the recommendation of a fellow Unilocaler and was pleased. If you live in Kingwood, it’s worth the extra distance in my opinion. As far as «donut shops» go, the interior is large. There are more than a few tables if you want to stay and eat. This is a huge plus in my opinion based on the decent sized breakfast menu they have. Besides donuts and kolaches, you can get breakfast sandwiches on biscuit or croissant, as well as, breakfast tacos made-to-order. They also have coffee selections that include mochas, lattes, and iced varieties. The glazed donuts are exactly what you want. Fresh and they practically melt in your mouth. They go down way to fast and easy and there is nothing that can keep you from another one. The kolaches are also hot and fresh. I like mine with sausage, cheese, and jalapeño. On this particular morning, it was exactly what I wanted to kick-start my day. My wife thought the potato, egg, and cheese breakfast taco was out of this world. I also took notice of how large it was. The kids love the glazed donut holes. I’ll definitely be back lots more and plan to sample everything on the menu.

Best Donuts Evah! Super Delicious Kolaches! Light, fluffy on the inside and not too fatty. Just perfect. They also make some awesome kolaches here. That’s how I originally found them was from a co-worker bringing in kolaches, many years ago. Any flavor, any item, Pat’s does it right.

A patient brought in donuts to the office I honestly think these are the best donuts I have ever eaten. Dense and delicious, but not too filling. I’ve only tried the glazed donut, but I’ve heard the chocolate dipped one is even more divine. i think i might have to make the trek up/down? there to get moooarrr
