Jiffy Lube

Great customer service, a real team atmosphere, courteous and professional. Did a great job on my truck, pointed out any issues but did not try to upsell. I am new to the area and have been looking for reliable service options. I have been to two other oil change places in the area including another Jiffy Lube but this location may be a bit grimy but what it lacks in presentation gets made up for with great service.

Almost didn’t come because of reviews but glad I did good customer service and did a good job on my truck. I don’t always post up but just so yall know it’s a good place to come to. Ask Josh and jose to help you out. Very patient and good worker. Told him I almost didn’t come and he said they under new management now so there’s the difference. lol

Just had oil change and thought I was paying for the platinum oil. Watched them pull a bait and switch with the manager handing the oil bottle I paid for down to the guy in the pit and then they poured used oil into my engine. I checked the oil cap and there was old oil swimming in the thread trap. Don’t use this place or if you do stand and watch them like a hawk. They get 1 star for being so slick. Will be lodging complaint with Jiffy lube head office.

Not so Jiffy today. Spent an hour and 40 minutes here. At 60 minutes they told me «another 10 – 15 minutes». At 75 minutes they told me «another 2 – 3 minutes». And then the guy «screwing in my skid plate» yelled at me that it has 12 screws. If there’s a longer than normal wait, let me know and I’ll come back.

—-They tampered with the dipstick rather than draining my overfilled engine.
—- They destroyed my skid plate completely.
—- Oil leaked out of my car and all over my driveway.
—-oily hand prints all over the leather interior.
Went in for a simple oil change. When they brought me the dipstick, it was very over full. I stated it was over full, and the manager, Samuel, disagreed. I retrieved my manual and showed him the proper level. The vehicle owners manual clearly stated that there was too much oil, and in bold letters cautioned against over filling due to engine damage. Samuel said he «worked there 3 years,» and it was not too full. After a google search also proved me right, he said he would drain it.
a very (very) quick time later, he showed me the dipstick, this time with less oil. Turns out, they simply wiped the dipstick off because when I got home, oil leaked all over my driveway and the dipstick read overfull. Further inspection, I saw that instead of removing my skid plate, they broke through it! literally tore a huge hole in it. To top it all off, there were 5 black greasy hand prints on my white leather.
Wish I could post pics of the oil mess and the gaping hole in the skid plate. Unilocal does not support it :-(

I arrived to get my oil changed at 8am on a Sunday and was warmly greeted by Samuel. I noticed that Samuel was by himself. Samuel wasted no time getting started on my vehicle and about 5 minutes later, another vehicle pulled up. Samuel, still alone, did a great job multitasking between our two vehicles and dealing with a third customer that pulled up about 15 minutes later. I can only assume that other employees were scheduled to work today; however for one reason or another, either called in or ran late. This never effected Samuel’s attitude. Samuel remained positive and worked alone at a steady pace taking care of all of us. I would give 5 stars if I was only evaluating Samuel. That place is in dire need of a good manager that can take care of Samuel and ensure that he is not a one man show.

I will never be coming here again. I drove up at 11:40 on a Saturday to get an inspection. Despite the door sign saying inspections would be available at 7:30 am, I was told told the inspection guy was coming in 10 min. That was an hour ago. It is 12:50 now and I keep being told the guy will be here in 5 min. Completely unacceptable. I could have knocked out 3 things on my to-​do list today in the time I’ve been led into sitting here.

I recently moved to Houston from out of state. So, in the process of getting my car switched over to Texas plates, I went to this location for my state inspection. There were a couple people in front of me, but I didn’t have anywhere to go so that was fine. I didn’t mind waiting my turn. They say they are training a new guy…
Finally, after about an hour waiting for my inspection, I get my car back. As I’m checking over things, I notice that the year on the paper I’m handed is wrong, so I ask them to fix it. They do, but they just left the sticker with the wrong year on my window. I didn’t notice that until later though.
About three weeks later, I do down to the office to get my new Texas plates and I’m told by the lady at the counter that she can’t read the vin number. The guy who wrote my paper didn’t distinguish between z and 2 or B and 8.
So then, I go back to this location, tell them what the lady at the plates office told me, and I wait for over an HOUR this time! How does rewriting a paper and changing a sticker take an hour?! Come to find out, they had conducted an entirely new emissions test, and had the audacity to ask me to pay for it! I refused and the guy was very sweet once I explained the situation to him. Don’t you think if you see the sticker in the window with the date of three weeks earlier, you would wonder why you were doing another one?
Finally, I left with my paper written neatly and an accurate sticker in the window, but it’s ridiculous that I had to go through that to get it!
I know that sometimes things get miscommunicated, but I will not be returning here for any type of service after experiencing that type of incompetency.

They definitely know what they’re doing here no BULL straight to the point! Would definitely come back there to get my oil change these guys do a great job!

They are relatively quick with the oil change. Depends on the amount of people in front of you mostly. You can always find a coupon online also. I like the vacuum the interior and check and top off fluids also. They seem to know what they ate doing, but they had to get a certain person to pull my manual transmission in. I’ve used this one 7 or 8 tines with 4 different vehicles now. I have used others in other cities with the same results. They seem to be a constant no matter where i have gone so far.
The only negative I have is the pushing the filter replacements and recommending a higher grade oil when it is not required.
