Master Ahn is great with kids. It is very traditional Korean style TKD. He integrates respect, discipline, and martial arts. Both my boys love it.

My daughter took a year of Taekwondo with Master Ahn and it was amazing to watch my shy little girl start to open up and gain confidence while learning martial arts. Master Ahn has great classroom control and is strong on form and technique, but he also emphasizes good values and works with parents and teachers to encourage (and require) respect, discipline, self control, cleanliness, good study etc. The students all respect him, but he’s also very friendly and personable. His studio is clean and bright. Highly recommend this studio and instructor.

Master Ahn is the kind of teacher one wants in martial art’s, he not only teaches you the fundamentals but the reasoning behind certain movements and techniques. Wether it’s for safety and self defense to personal fitness, I got all of that from his school and encourage any person wether it’s for them or their children to try the school. You’ll be amazed at the transformation mentally and physically. There’s time when I looked up and was sad that class was over. That’s when I knew that his methods were different and better.

I enrolled my daughter in Taekwondo with Master Ahn in 2011. Not only is he a highly skilled TWD Master, but he’s really good with kids, has excellent classroom control and makes sure the kids learn good form. My shy little 5 year old was encouraged to come out of herself, was getting exercise and was starting to learn self defense. I also like the way he structures the younger kids class by mixing TWD instruction with games and other exercises. It kept it fun while still teaching them the fundamentals, coordination and how to follow instruction. I highly recommend Master Ahn and the K Taekwondo studio.
