West Parke Inn & Suites

Two stories, exterior entrances.
While working in Kinston I chose to stay here instead of one of the chain hotels.
This non chain hotel is owned by the same persons that operate the Kinston location of Quality Inn.
My king room was very spacious and included a sofa, desk and microfridge. My room faced the highway but I got very minimal highway noise. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Some of the furnishings are in need of replacement. Wifi was free but sluggish in speed.
Front desk staff was polite and efficient.
Biggest advantage to this property is the room rates. My king room on the corporate rate was about $ 30 less than the corporate rate of the Quality Inn.
To make reservations you do have to call the hotel directly — no 800 number or on line reservations method.
Location is right beside the Kinston Business Park (Electrolux is next door) and is closer to the Kinston area restaurants (Applebees, Ruby Tuesday, Golden Corral & fast food choices) than the Quality Inn.
Overall a pleasant stay at a very reasonable price.
